I've been tweaking my main worship stage display for over a year now and ever since pro7 was released i've been making new changes every week in search for a layout that allows chords to be used in the correct position over the lyrics for the band while still maintaining the lyrics alone fore the stream and congregation feeds. WELL, as of yesterday morning, i've finally done it and have created a layout that works perfectly and is fairly easy to make for YOUR church's computer!

Just because someone isn’t at the same level as someone else doesn’t necessarily mean they’re not giving their best for the Lord. It’s important to remember this but also have good discernment when choosing whether or not to have someone serve in certain ministries.
This guy was my substitute teacher once. Caught me playing on my phone and finished the round for me. That's respectable.
That’s what I needed. Thank you brother in Christ. I have been serving for 15 years and of course I don’t remember every song specially when I serve once a month so all the time the songs are different so that idea would be helpful to look at stage display instead of watching to do Note holder
My rule of thumb-anything I can do (like using advanced stage displays or clearer cue sheets or whatever) to make my volunteers' roles easier makes us look better, sound better and praise God better. After all, they have REAL jobs to worry about during the week, no sense in adding unneeded stress when they come to church. Keep up the good work, mate!

Any specific reason why none of the files will load for me? On iCloud it tells me that the files are no longer shared/I don't have permission to view them, Google Drive won't even let me open the files, and the OneDrive download will not import into ProPresenter. Would really love to use this template to help out the other band members if possible. This is the only video I've found that explains it well. I attempted to recreate it myself when I realized I couldn't download it but it would not work correctly for me. Thanks.
I like some of the things you done with your layout with remaining slides and playlist items. One thing that makes it much easier to work with the spacing is using a monospace font on your stage display and in your slide notes. It's much easier to tell how many spaces to adjust to get the proper alignment. Great job!

I've installed everything, and tried to make sure all my settings were correct, but for some reason, my 'Notes' boxes do not have an opaque backgrounds, and it's blocking the lyrics on Stage Display, Any assistance at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for this wonderful tutorial!

Question. I don’t see chords under the Edit/Notes section. But I can see them when I’m the Show view (also on my confidence monitor). I need to add a different arrangement/chord progression to a song and I don’t now how to edit it
Is there a way to get the Current and Next Slide Text larger? In the Stage Layout Editor, I click on the text box and change the text size, it's not changing (or not changing on the stage display). Or, what is the best setting to use to make the text as large as possible for easier reading? But, I suppose we also don't want the notes vs. text sizes to change because then the chords and position over the text may change.
How did you do the multi view in the preview
Great video, thanks so much. For some reason my text keeps getting scaled down smaller than it needs to be. Any ideas on what could be making that happen? Thanks!
I’d guess that you have too many lines on each slide. Make sure you only use two lines not four.
Some themes in ProPresenter don't support more than so many lines. Also check if you enabled the option to scale text up or down. Go to edit, text, and text scaling.
I'm not the tech director at my church (I'm the worship pastor), and I haven't learned my way around ProPresenter. But my question is: do you need to include "Next Slide Notes"? Would it save space on the page if you didn't include those? From a worship leader standpoint, I don't need to see the chords on the next slide, just the current one. I guess if there's a chord coming up quick on the next slide, you could include some notation at the end of the Current Slide Notes, like "--> (C)" at the end of the line. But, maybe ProPresenter doesn't allow this. Just an idea. Thanks for sharing this with us, and thanks for serving at your church!

I downloaded your folder for the "theme" to copy over to the stage display. I followed the directions, but cannot find the file in Pro7 under themes. What am I missing? We are on 7.5.
You need to put the folder into ProPresenter -> Themes
@@battersboy Hey Jake so i downloaded the display files folder and i see a theme.dat file which i dropped into the pro presenter-Themes folder but i cannot find anything anywhere what am i missing?

Hey Jake! I am currently using this but sometimes, the notes will go inside of the words so I have to hit enter and put it all on. The second line. Any troubleshooting help?
Hey Don, yes if you are using double lyric lines you just need to press enter to space out the chords to the second line. The spacing is already setup to be correct so you should be able to just enter the chords and spaces appropriately. Good luck!
At this point it’s MUCH easier to use Multitracks.com’s new ChordPro subscription that does everything for you pretty much and allows you to change key with no effort. We’ve switched and it’s amazing.
@@battersboy thanks for the heads up! I actually just didn’t top align the text boxes🙄. But we’re a small church trying to save some money, is chord pro expensive?
Is it possible to have different slide notes to allow for different keys?
I just duplicate the songs and then change the key. A way around this is to use Nashville numbers instead so that you only have to write them out once but this depends on the ability of your team!
