I'm from WA so your east based trips (and your regular blokes approach) interests me much more than another "We took our huge caravan down the Gibb so we could complain about the corrugations" video. Great video. It's been about 20 years since I went to the Snowy Hydro, Kosciuszko and surrounding areas. So many beautiful areas to visit. Seeing this makes me realise it's time to go back again. 👍

Awesome trip. Once you have a totally set up vehicle, as you do, living out of it is such an experience, no complicated set up, just stop, take in the surroundings and enjoy the moment in comfort. Then easy pack down to relocate as well.
We do likewise, total comfort.

great video. i have been watching for a while now and since those first few videos there has always been something special about this channel. at the time i was still more interested in seeing the wild 4bys that 4wd 24/7 had but now i just love the more realistic holiday style videos in our amazing country. keep up the good work Patrick! i was also wondering if with each of your videos you could put together a trip plan of the tracks that you went on?

I did a very similar trip last year, started the vic high country through to the southern areas of the snowies, up through Kosciusko and followed the Murray from the top through to swan hill. Would’ve been nice to head a bit further north.

Great little vid. Im very slowly building my gq to do trips like this. I live near Jervis Bay, and i LOVE it when people get to visit it because it is beautiful there. I got married in the Botanic Gardens there. If you get there again, grab a boat and go on the bay, or get in on one of the dolphin watch cruises. Wont regret

Absolutely amazing video, love what you say about just getting out there, misses and I went out and saw you at the start of your trip heading towards Craig’s hut. We were in the green Pajero like your old one haha.

just like to inform you that there is, a guided tour of Mount Kosciuszko run by Park Rangers.When you hit the top it's something else,that is if there is no fog. Great video 👍👍

Trust me when i say this, put locktite on your brake caliper bolts, I've never owned a car that loves to shed caliper bolts like the 80 does.

try holding your fishing rods on the fore grip for better control, which also allows you to control line and drag/spool pressure with the index finger. Great content and fantastic trip.

A G clamp can make a decent emergency vice if you've got the bush😉

Removed them to fit the high mount winch, Ive been meaning to put them back on, but I honestly don't do a heap of night driving so the kings lightbar I've got has been enough!

New south Wales national Parks don't enforce the camp bookings, I have camped over 100 nights without booking and have never had a problem. Most of rangers I have talked to think the booking process is unfair.
Hi Oliver, Yeah i've heard that they are going to "review" it and hopefully get rid of it or work out somthing new, it was very common to see a campsite "Booked out" online, yet when we drove through it was empty...
I saw you at Geehi man, the rig looks awesome and the camp setup looked unreal, haha on the day I left I was driving past your campsite and I just see Patrick crawling out of the rooftop tent 😂😂

Jervis bay is incredible. Some unreal national park action and the beaches are some of the best in the country. Looks like a great trip!
