Something worth noting about the EDARs: Destroying the chest-plate that covers their core prevents them from being able to dodge attacks or sprint. It's usually doesn't matter considering that if you broke the armor, then you've probably hit the core and killed them anyway, but it's something that's nice to know.
Note: The spawn areas for EDARs is shared with Stalkers. EDARs give no audio indication of which variant they are until they perform an attack and there are only 2 attack sounds (the Trappers emits a charge up sound, whereas the others have the same verbal attack cue). EDARs mimic character lines like DAR does, but will prefer Boss Zed and event Zed voice lines (with some exceptions, including but not limited to when they catch fire, in which case they will mimic Albert and Masterson). On launch, EDARs were the only non-boss Zed that could survive an RPG to the face.
@Eren20 Kruger00 I should've mentioned that when I played endless and got a Stalker only wave, I got a bunch of EDARs and stalkers (with EDARs being less common than the Stalkers, but still present despite the limitation).
My tip is exclusive to the *Halloween Husk* variant. His weak spot is inside his chest plate, and is exposed while he opens his chest plate to charge his shot.
This is true for the 2019 Halloween zeds but tripwire likes to (at least from my experience) change the models every year. If they change in 2020 then this won't apply but I thought it was a really cool concept.
I was on wave 35 endless and was about to die to Hans but then one fleshpound charged him from behind and murdered him. These Zed's are fair. As ahoy said, "projectiles can be dodged. " As opposed to hitscan. rocket's fireball and lasers , couldn't have gone with any better in a ranged attack. Unless you consider bee's, or snowballs
I'd say EDAR blaster is not very fair, considering most movement players will be doing is backpaddling and most perks isn't movement based. Strafing will cause you to misalign your shots and the duration is pretty long. Also the fact that they are ranged, which means they aren't gonna be a player's top priority most of the time, most of the time it'll be the zed closest to the player that the player needs to get rid of so you'll have to tank the shots which has a lackluster feedback like you've been tickled or something or strafe and might get yourself cornered into somewhere you don't want to be.

The one good thing about both the Husk flamethrower attack and the EDERS Blaster And Bomber Attack is that Zeds attack too much by these three will cause the zeds to attack theme instead of attack the players This will cause the husk to use its self explode attack at low hp on the zed that the husk is attacking
The only problem of this is that you wont get xp or dosh from the husk or its victims because the game doesnt register those deaths as your kills, so it is either risk it for the money or live with low resources even after the wave is over
I think two enemies that the game needs is a flamethrower only husk, which would constantly run at you like a quarter pounder; and an EDAR Soldier, which sacrifices it's dashing abilities to carry a bullpup, it'd be inaccurate at first when shooting so players have a chance to dodge it, and the reward for killing it would be a free bullpup to use/sell
Addition to the video: In a pinch, a Berzerker can use forward strong attacks from any long weapon without a special effect (ex: fireaxe, zweihander, etc...) to hit a Husk's fuel tank. The animation for the Husk's melee attack exposes his back and, besides having the tankiness to absorb one melee attack from a Husk, Berzerkers will not take damage from the explosion caused by the fuel tank this way. Generally it shouldn't be your main strategy, but if you NEED to take down a Husk quickly and you're somewhat close, this is a viable way to do it.
this video's helpful-- i stopped playing consistently before the game came out of early access so i have no clue how these robots work, i've just been cluelessly dumping bullets into them the few times i've played recently
Its worth noting that Husks aim FOR the player, not the ground at their feet, and thus their projectile can be dodged with either fancy footwork or a well timed jump. As husks do not vary their attack timings, and have very good sound ques it is easy to learn the timing on jumping clean over a fireball.
Never really understood the hate that the robots got since prior to learning about the chest core weakspot that also stuns nearby enemies, i would just unload my power weapon (usually saved to for scrakes and fleshpounds or when im caught in a corner) such as dual deagles or dual af2011's into the head and be done with it.
