In this video I took an neglected car that was very rough and needed a lot of work and after some long hours and hard work transformed it into something renewed and restored. I repaired the vehicle and it took some effort to get it back working but it was worth it. it was a great transformation

Loved this. I like a lot of the American stuff too, but so many of them just casually use massive garages full of thousands of dollars worth of tools to do their "budget" projects, whereas this is much more realistic for most people.
..AA.??.
.
1700 for 11 hours labour. Well done, that's mighty going.
Great video too!
Yes! Thank you!
time went into researching the market, buying the car which includes transport etc, time spent selling it.... it's not that easy
@@ArdaiThomasInvestments hes still made more than what some people make in a week

It's been a while lol, fantastic transformation of what was a very tired looking car.
Yes it was, thanks bro
TODAY i bought golf II 1500€
Great transformation good job 👍
@@Mad4Motors_ Hi, may I know what were the cleaning agents you used to clean the side door panels and the seat fabrics?
I absolutely love these. Bringing back life to a battered mundane car.
Dirt 3!
Another cracking video mate, always such a pleasure to watch. And so satisfying to see these cars being flipped and looking so good by the end of the video. Nice work dude!!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks again
Been watching you for a while doing a great job.
This is what I do as a hobby. My best flip so far a 800 quid audi in limp mode which needed a damaged sensor wire repair which was a free repair for me, sold it after a good clean up with new mats for 2500 after only spending 25 quid on mats. Very satisfied customer which was the main thing for me. I don't sell on rubbish, must be HPI CLEAR FSH, perfect to drive and clean as a whistle.
unreal. I am thinking of starting too, but if the customer asks why are you selling or whats the history or how well has it been looked after what do you say? That you just buy them to sell on? and whats that like? cheers
@@hughoneill6555 Once I've gone through the car and im happy it's top notch I either explain I bought it needing some tlc or I say I knew the last owner via a friend (a little white lie I know to provide some confidence from the buyer, which either way won't make a dot of difference to the car itself at all in reality just makes them feel better) and they wanted to sell it on quickly when they bought a newer car. At the end of the day what ever the "story" behind a car any car has the potential to be a nightmare or a dream for the next owner because things go wrong or maybe not. All you can do as a seller is find and fix anything at that time and sell on a good honest car. And if you think a dealership or independent car showroom does anything differently you would be wrong. They may however offer a warranty which I bet 98% of claims are denied due to being "wear and tear" and therefore not covered.
@@LAW-fv6ys perfectly answered and I really appreciate it. And what's the best with vat and tax does it matter if it doesn't have it? And should I add them on when selling it?
@@hughoneill6555 you only need vat registration if you earn above 81k profit. Tax? On the car no, and its not transferable anyway. I am a registered trader (part time or full it's the same really as far as hmrc is concerned), if you sell a few car a year I wouldn't bother, hmrc are really interested and it's only the profit that you have to pay tax on. Above 7 or 8 a year I would register. There is no hard and fast rule, by the book hmrc want their cut if you make any type of profit from anything.. simple.
bought my mk5 2.0 tdi for £1000 and has had 0 issues and in pretty good condition for it being a 2004, good video man!
This video are amazing I wish that you would upload more frequently
U havent even watched thw whole vid ywt lol
I say that too, but he needs time on most of his videos
I recommend always lifting the wipers up when cleaning the car, usually all sorts of crap get stuck under them.
Nice video, good job
Watching all your videos and giving it a like and watching ads without skipping is the best I can do to support you as I really appreciate your content and it’s no bs editing
Hey appreciate it, thanks for watching
Was good to see that when you saw a problem you fixed it. So many people would see a problem and hide it. Good job.
Yeah it was a tricky one, got it sorted though, thanks for watching👍
id recommend refurbing/painting calipers when you do these.
as an enthusiast seeing orange/brown brakes on an otherwise spotless car is a big giveaway the the car is just a flip
wat colour would you have painted them
@@paulaocallaghan1189 just a basic silver. they dont need to stand out. they need to look clean
Well done, great job 👍. I've never seen a door skin removed before.
I had a few off before, thanks for watching!
i have octavia 1.gen and i see it very often :DD
most are welded to door frame but some cars have it just screwed to door frame like this golf
Man, this channel deserves a lot more subscribers!
You gave it away man lol, you should have held out for 4k. It looked unreal. Those wheels looked brand new. Great work and hope to see more flips.
@@Frank_Pods Selling a car for what it’s worth after putting a lot of hours into it isn’t greedy.
It is always good to see the video you just released, this is no exception. Thanks!
hey thanks 👍
Fantastic job there. This video is almost 17 minutes long and it flew by when I watched it. I have this car's Czech cousin - a Skoda Octavia II. Cheers from India
Brilliant video, I have always wanted to do something like this!
Decided to tip my toe in the water 1st lockdown.. was good fun and a nice side hustle.
Flipping a car is a big box gor me to tick
Deffo need more of these full transformation/selling vids. Very entertaining keep it up 🤙🏼
Thanks! Working on it
Great video this is what i have been doing for 7 years and this video helped me because i wanted to start restoring the rims better. I am good at detailing but never got into restoring the wheels that good. Now i know what to do thanks!!
OK, this transformation is just incredible, man!!
Great vid , you certainly know wot your on about when it comes to buying, how much to spend on a car ,and dealing with potential buyers . Good commentary again ..
hey thanks 👍
Always tighten wheel lugnuts in a star pattern! Also use a torque wrench!
Shut up Karen
@@mikixP don’t cry when your wheel falls off then 🤣🤣
Never done that in my life and never had a problem.
Hes not wrong; its just common sense to fasten any assembly in a sequence that spreads the load. No need for a torque wrench though, you can just do it by feel
@@mikixP everyone one is a Karen nowadays.
Huh, seems especially you, too.
great to see ya back again , love watching what you can do
hey thanks 👍
Awesome, glad to see a poor car became a excellent by ur hand.
It was really fun to watch the work. Great video.
Good one mate, bought MK5 Golf GT 2.0 TDI as non runner for £300 spent £900 total and sold it for £2900, it was low mileage 97k. Changed all 4 door locks, EGR Valve And Throttle Body and bits and bobs
A real inspiration. I’ve just bought an Alfa Romeo MiTo for £700 from auction worth £3000. In the process of pulling out dents, body filler, primer and painting. Hoping to get £2500 with full service and mot
11:34 funny enough a cleaned engine bay on a used car is a major red flag for many buyers because it indicates that the car had some type of major mechanical issue that the owner couldn't solve. They try to clean up the engine to make it seem healthy on the surface but they might be hiding something like an oil leak or headgasket leak (although you'll notice these things with other signs as well)
Yeah I agree, but he didn't actually clean the engine and engine bay up, I would say he only removed the worst dust and cobwebs from being parked for over a year.
If the rest of the car is spotless then it just makes it look like it's been thoroughly detailed. But a spotless engine bay on an otherwise filthy car would be a red flag to me though, for sure.
I wouldn’t say this personally, I keep my engine bay spotless
You rock Mr Mad4Motors - keep em coming!
Even at 3100 EUR, I still think was way too cheap. You should have asked for 4k!! Looks absolutely M I N T.
Sweet! I just picked up a 2004 Nissan Altima 3.5 SE with 135,000 miles, but only the 2nd owner. Low Bluebook is $3000, got it for $1500. Needs a door handle n paint...the body n interior are clean. Ur video is inspiring as I can DIY it n make some $$!
Good job!
In some countries, like Italy, this flipping process is fairly hard, since you'll spend between 400 and 700 euros just for the paperwork, and on an old car this may represent the potential profit
Move to Ireland then 👍
in Italia qualsiasi attività imprenditoriale è fairly hard hahaha
Yeah same here
same in my country but maybe even worse, when you buy car you need to register it in your name and we have fees for the power of the car in Kw which means if you want to buy something with power lets say something with 200Kw you will pay 2300€ only for this fee alone plus you need to include year of the car so lets say 2300€ * 0,12 for 12 years old car which makes it 2576 + 70€ for plates..... absolutely insane
@@BrucePain-_- what country? And what if you buy like E60 M5 ?
LOVE 💗💗💗 this format!!!
Thank you !
Great turnaround. New lease of life for golf and a stuffed wallet 👌
Never seen a door skin removed like that before. Nice one
Perfect video.
It would be super nice to have a video about your full paint gun setup.
They come ready to spray straight out of the box nowadays! Thanks for watching
120 a steal for four alloy wheels with decent tyres on them. Great find and nice job touching them up.
if you can do this 3 times a month, thats 5100 euros.. and at least in the Netherlands that would be tax free so its more like your making 8-9000 a month. Thats pretty amazing, great videos!
Well done, fantastic little makeover!
Top video mate, I second that you should be uploading more often
hey thanks 👍
Fantastic motor, always regret selling mine. Great job looked well!
People can learn alot from this, great snd simple video
Yes yes my man waiting for a while for one of these videos!!

Hey thank you!
Great video, some transformation in that car! The offer the buyer gave was some job, on top of the fact you had only just posted it. Serious result!
Thank you for not using annoying music. Subscribed.
Nice one! For future reference the bumper part you painted does just pop out if you get a trim removal tool behind it!
Ok good to know! thanks for watching
I m watching your videos times and times again
It would be nice to have a talent like yours. Excellent job.
You're a good Lad for taking 3100. Good salesmanship 👍

It feels good knowing that car should be on the road for years more than it possibly would have been
Nice work, good to see you back
Hey, thanks!
be jaysus ya got that one cheap for an 08 with a dodgy starter and needing a wash turned out well in fairness
That's really brilliant. Well done. Starters, I've learned are generally easy to replace. The paint equipment is kind of daunting, though.
Fantastic transformation 😍
Wow I have never seen anyone remove a door skin, well done I am loving your channel 👍
Would love a video of the process of removing the door skin next time you do one.
Its actually quite straight forward! thanks for watching
Great video! Keep them coming! Greetings from Co.Mayo!
Mayo nice spot, thanks for watching!
Another great job 👍 well done 👏 I really appreciate the hard work you put in to these car's I look forward to your next project...
Damn... I did not know you could remove the outside of a door like this. For me it was welded together. Pretty neat
Wow great transformation 👏
Good job. Car looked very nice when done.
Yes, thanks 👍
Excellent job Mate, Car looked brilliant.
hey thanks for watching again👍
Great video! I wouldn't recommend cleaning the engine bay with WD-40. It can cause future damage. Just some soapy water is a perfect degreaser!
Grate video, hats of to ya, hope you do more like this. 👍
The man who sold it to you is shaking rn😂
If I am buying a car, I recommend a 'not' cleand engine bay!
This.
What? So you can spot oil leaks or something?
@@IGotsBadFeeling Exactly, oil or any other fluids can easily be seen when the engine's dirty. You might even be able to spot where they are coming from and know exactly what the issue is.
Great job. I enjoyed hearing the Irish accent too (Mum was Irish).
This looks FANTASTIC!
for a TDI? I would have paid that too!!!! Great work!!!
Great to watch your vlogs well worth the wait
hey thanks 👍
This was a good episode well done 👏
I would definetly recommend you to use a clay bar before polishing the car - that alone would easily take care of the black spots 👍
Great video as usual man👍👍
Great video once again. It just goes to show that with a bit of time, effort, research and confidence , anyone can achieve great results.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
The difference those wheels made is unreal 😍
Any chance of more of these videos? Like this video and the Audi flip too, amazing videos
This is amazing I wish I had the confidence to do something like this 😭
Start with doing an oil change, then go on to changing some brakes... confidence comes with experience. And also, watch guides online. A few years back i always had a shop do even an oil change. Now i do full services, brakes, exhaust and even did some engine work on my Volvo V50. All thanks to google and youtube.
The worst things are timing belt and headgasket
@@Gamer-pb9tw Yeah! I've not Come there yet. Had to changing the EGR last fall... that was the first time i had to do anything with changing cooling fluid. But 4 hours later, it was done 😀👍
@@Gamer-pb9tw what about ball joints and shocks 😬😔
When you have time you can do this, it's bolts and nuts. Even if you break something then you'll have to fix it and that's it. No brain surgery. Second thing is that not everybody own all the tools shown. Also, it would be nice to comment on the correct way to dispose the dirty oil. Yet inspiring video.
ngl the car looks awesome after the work you did. i'd totally stop to look too
Hello lad, wheres a good source for paint supplies like you main car paint/ clearcoat products, masking tape brand and that brown paper, also how do you normally find the colour code to a car
Awesome EP you made me sub. Also loved the starlet EP
I've just stumbled across your channel, subscribed!
With 180k you did really well to get 3100 euro. In England it would have been quite a bit less. Nice job.
Nice transformation 👍
Excellent work.
