Stoat v rabbit

Looks like the rabbits complete unconcern about the stoat confused it. Most predators require their prey to go into chase mode to really get the blood lust pumping to go for the kill.

I was expecting a kill I once thought a stoat would kill a rabbit when ever they crossed paths but other week driving on a country road I saw rabbit chasing the stoat got confused
