That was quick! I was hoping to see Bitterns (Didn't see them) but I wasn't expecting that as I hadn't seen any rabbits elsewhere while I was down in Cornwall that month. Cheers 👍, hope things are well!
Crazy capture, never seen anything like it before. The birds are straight in on it though looking for an easy meal and I'm amazed the Stoat could drag the Rabbit due to the size difference.
Thanks 👍. I've not seen a hunt like this in real life before but when I have seen footage of stoats dragging rabbits in documentaries, it's been heavily edited
Sometimes I have wondered why they don't fight back, but stoats like this one seem to wrap themselves round the back of rabbits so easily, the rabbits don't stand much chance
Cheers 👍. At that point I was behind the wall walking along the road looking into the marsh and saw a stoat hopping about after a magpie had a go at it
Wow 😮 that was fantastic to watch!! Well done In getting this on film congratulations 👏
Cheers 👍. I see a stoat something like once or twice a year but until this point never seen anything like or as clear as this
@@WatchRWildlife I’ve only ever seen one a couple of times very briefly
Let me be first to put thumbs up 👍 1!! Incredible capture ! To get the beginning of that sequence was perfect ! Great post 👏🏻👏🏻

Rabbits can be vicious to other rabbits but when it comes to defending themselves against smaller predators they start running

Great footage, even if it is a bit hard to watch, poor bunny 😥
Cheers 👍, I agree with you on that. Part of wildlife filming is to show things for how they are sometimes
Sad to watch but incredible footage you got there. Good eye spotting that stoat at first.
