Wow I just went to this in 2021 and once back in 2003. I always wondered what it was like back then when the festival was still new....if anyone has been there back then and now what can you say about the differences. One thing I noticed is how the reporter isn't simply just reporting about the festival, she's fully immersed herself in the festival and seems knowledgeable about it. The TV reports about this festival today seems dull in comparison.
Almost 30 and I get yelled at for an ID just for being in a shop that had knives and swords. Was looking at mini statue figurines of dragons. Wasn't even interested in buying a blade!
10 - 31 - 21 We went to the Texas Renaissance festival on Sunday......and today marks the 504 year anniversary that Martin Luther the Protestant Reformer nailed his 95 theses to the Wittenberg castle church in Germany on October 31 , 1517

This was before it went family friendly and watered down. Wish it was still like this.
