I havent followed sCS in years but SuperStitum was one of the main people throwing edits together, hyping people up and keeping the game exciting even when you weren't playing it. Most compilations I've seen are pre-2022/23 really

I started watching CS in mid 2020 and I’ve done my best to do research on the past years. I watch matches, players, check tournaments, stats, articles, anything I can get my hands on to try and piece together what was happening before I watched. At the end of the day, the most valuable thing is videos like this that put it together from some who watched it happen and knows what mattered. Much love brother

I really hope he comes back as a good top 20 rifler and can find peace with being one of the best and not the best.
The Goat of CSGO can never be taken from him now, so there’s no pressure there so he can really let loose.
Hopefully the motivation to grind being a pure rifle will get him back into cracked form. Some of those clips of him rifling really do remind you of how his rifling peak has definitely dropped. He is a grinder though and is the type that if he is motivated will just sit on an aim map for hours and his mechanics will catch up pretty quick.

s1mple doesn't care anymore. He was the best for a long time. He broke records, made insane plays, got multiple map grafitis, and cemented his place as a legend. He's reached the point in his career where he's being paid retarded amounts of money to babysit shit teams that will never amount to anything. I think S1mple isn’t at the end of the road just yet, he is tapering off and that shows with the stats but I will say these past two years has probably been the hardest on him while playing the game so I can expect him to reach at least near peak performance and him Rifling in Falcons should be considered, especially now Mezisport have won like all their games on Vertigo and beat the 9ine trio against gla1ve on that map.

I may have a braindead take but I dont think s1imple has the it factor to adapt. CS2 came with a lot of different idiosyncrasies and tactics and many of the great players adapted even when the game was in a pretty bad state. Players who adapted for example were ropz and these new teams who dug into the new nade changes and peeking changes. Niko as well put his head down and stuck through the many changes and kept playing and adapting. I dont think s1mple wanted to put the effort into changing and instead made dumb excuses dissing the game because it wasn't what he was totally used to. Especially with the awp. As well, I believe there are many better players and teams now than in the csgo days where s1mple was popping off.
I've been watching s1mple and been a fan of him since he joined liquid. I know for a fact he can be no. 1 in the future, it just comes down to whether that is actually what he wants and what he's willing to put in the hours for. In my opinion its not even a question of ability but entirely a question of dedication. He has been the best player for a very long time and I couldn't even imagine the level of burnout he must have experienced towards the end of CSGO but if he truly is refreshed and back at it, then I truly and wholeheartedly believe he can be the best in the world, without question.
I remember Niko doing well secondary awping for a long time, I didn't expect him to put up s1mple numbers but I was really surprised he did so poorly on awp.

I get that niko isnt great at awping in matches but I think its a little SLANDEROUS to call him bad with the gun. He has a few pretty insane highlights with it and even beat monesy twice in awp 1v1. Not sure why it doesn't click for him in matches.

I mean I think he can be the best still if he's motivated. Only thing holding him back probably, realistically there isn't anything else left to achieve for him. He hasn't really fallen off he stopped playing the game completely and those few months before that his team was basically disbanding anyway.

Talking about rifling it’s crazy ZywOo this year has more kills with the AK then the AWP. (He had more kills with M4 + AK last year) CS2 is really turning awpers more into hybrids. And if they can’t their numbers kinds go down.

I think if s1mple decides to keep rifiling he needs more time with the team. You can't just slap good players together and be like this will be a great team. It shows that its a team game no matter how good a individual is. Plus with CS2 we are seeing newer teams stepping up and former teams losing. I think it's more exciting to see more players doing well and not just the same teams/players always in the top statistics. I'm hoping this Major is a good showing from teams, I think there could be a potential upset with how good some of the teams look.
