Wow! Lots of meaningul moments at the gathering for you. I wish I could have gone but there's always next year in Prague. I've bought my ticket for the conference in Budapest already.
I have some very nice memories of last year's gatherling in Teresin. I met some new friends, played games in Mandarin, enjoyed the company of polyglots. I also managed to speak a lot of Polish, having felt nervous previously about getting around there. In fact, I just spoke Polish outside of the gathering (no other language) and that was a milestone achievement for me.
Last year, I didn't go to any of the presentations or workshops because I was busy chatting to people and enjoying the nice weather outside. This year, however, I would have loved to see your presentation. I know some Mandarin and Cantonese and would have found this talk interesting. I hope it will become available on UA-cam soon. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

I'm still adamant that "polyglot" in our day and age is a self-identity and not an objective descriptor. And I've definitely seen people with two flags on their badge!
