If you added a performance intake and it’s running good that means your mixture was way too rich. The new intake lets more air in and made the mixture stoic👍
What does stoic term mean? I'm trying to get my place, Wolf 50 CC. Start it again, dirty carburetor. Low level gas. I'm going to change the 97 from now on. However, I have a 1040 oil. And a cracked air filter. I replaced the fuel filter. Before I replace the fuel filter, it leaked. Aren't you the old air box? It ripped the seal? I'm going to JB Welled and duct tape for now. Hope i can get the cold start over with... She's been sitting with that gas in her for about a year. Don't even know where to start, really. Besides takeing the Add cleaning out the carburetor.
@@jamiediseker9232 Stoic is a perfect air to fuel mixture. It’s called the explosion window. There needs to be a perfect amount of fuel and air for combustion to be efficient. That amount its 14.7 : 1 meaning 14.7 parts of air for every part of fuel. If the ratio is for example 10:1 the engine will run rich cause there’s not enough air to help all of the fuel burn, so there will be alot of unburn fuel and the engine won’t run well. If the ratio goes to say 17:1 there is too much air and not enough fuel and the engine will once again not run well. If your scooter has been sitting still and hasn’t been run in a year chances are your carburetor is clogged. Just take it apart and clean every hole you see, especially the jets. Or just get a new carburetor if you’re lazy, they’re very cheap. Also check the battery, chances are it’s dead if it hasn’t been used in a year. They’re also very cheap
Had mine now for 9 months starting running like shit so I drained the fuel took the carburetor off and stripped it apart and cleaned it out it back on now it runs but it has a screeching sound to it every now and then anybody know what that is
Likely needs valve adjustment. Supposed to be done every 3k miles. Lots of videos on here to show you how. Pro tip buy a motorcycle/scooter valve adjustment wrench set. It’ll save you time and headache.
I have a scooter like this too , have you change your stock rollers weight ? I want to change mine to 4.5 grams but I don't know if will help me going lil bit faster
Most people already know this but im just saying it. If you choose to do this (delete airbox) rain and even a deep puddle have a chance of locking your engine. So be very careful and think about your situation before you do this. Its not the end of the world. But definitely a possibility to go wrong.
It’s never the spark plug, eveyone thinks that but just give your spark plug a clean so it’s not junked up, carb needed a clean but some stock carburetors can’t be cleaned and have to be replaced like mine
Normally the Chinese bikes come real lean. Up jetting 2-3 main jet sizes tends fix the bog if the motor is healthy otherwise. Careful with that air filter - they tend to let dirt through.

Did it rain in your area?
How fast is ur top speed.
Link to the air filter?
Does this make you run out of fuel faster
Could need valves adjusteded if it is 4 stroke.
How to adjust the valve
@@youtubeshuggy936 buy a feeler guage then look up on here how to do it. Not kidding.
Rarely do i find this is the case. I do Mobile scooter repair and 70% of the time it's water in the tank.
How hard is it to remove the rear wheel

Yea I changed them. It made a decent difference, and it’s relatively easy to change
@@Ryron24 what grams did you changed them
Rollers on a 50cc should be between 4 and 6 grams but don't forget to up grade the clutch as well. 40 bucks on Amazon and you will get better speed.
What the size for air filter on that scooter?
No more vids on the 50cc can you keep showing us how you fixed it

What kind of carb did you buy I’m having trouble finding one I have the same scooter just a 50 cc
Just the cheapest one on Amazon lol

Re-tune your idle screw. So first tightnen your screw all the way and than open it abaout one and a half rotations and that should be it
Change ya fuel filter, great video 👍🏻

I got rid of the whole moped before anything went wrong 😂
I have same filter on mine

Put the air box back on and clean your carb
You will have the same symptoms if you have a leak at the intake manifold.
Ram airfilters will only cause more problems
