- We grabbed another Honda Elite 50cc scooter and IT DOESN'T RUN! We hit some major tips on how to fix a scooter that wont start and got it running! Simple carburetor cleaning and a little TLC and shes good to go!

I can tell you for sure, that Elite was used as a pit bike for the drag strip by the original owner, and the dude raced in the Super Gas class! Very cool!

I just picked up a Yamaha vino for $250 non running,the old owners changed the plug and put a longer one in and the piston tapped it and closed the gap,put a correct plug in started right up

Trevor FYI all elite S run without split cable. Only the SR come with split cables.

your way of checking if it has spark is very true and i use it myself. But the method of taking another sparkplug does not tell you if the existing one in the cylinder works. Best thing is to take the spark plug out and then check spark:)))
Yo bro is there any possible way to start a scooter without keys and kick start? I lost my keys like 4 days ago and i cant find them
yea most the time you can just unplug the whole key ignition and it will work . sometimes you might have to jump a wire on ignition plug to be able to get spark

hey can you help me with my scooter I got a 2008 2 stroke yamaha 50cc when it running it dies or loose power and die it will take a while when it get cold that's will start again but when it dies it's hard to start right away what do u think the problem is i spend a lot now money already thankyou I subscribe to your channel

Picked up a roughhouse 50 sport been sitting for a few months water got into the fuel seen some gas rust brown color coming out the carb and fuel pump is this stuff in my engine head too ?? What should i do
Like 90% of the time its just a starter relay sometimes you can jump it with a screwdriver or just your hand mfs will also try breaking them apart to try and steal the scooter.

Question, I have a 2006 Daelim S Five 50cc scooter. I stored it for the last two years. Now it doesn't start. I purchased two new carburetors. it seems fuel is not getting to it. When i unplugged the fuel line from the old carb, the fuel just continued to flow. Is the petcock bad? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely cylinder failure. Check the cylinder and piston for scratches.
could’ve worn down the piston ring and low compression now, i’d pull the head and check the cylinder

dont delete the 2T oil pump. make it original please. buy the right throttle cable
i prefer not to use oil pump, premix all the way!
The elite s came from the factory with no throttle cable to the oil pump. They only run at idle speed on the restricted models. Some people zip tie them open but premix is much better
easy fix i like how you know what ypur doing i had a 2 stroke moped and the gears were melted in it so i had to fix it all it took so long
hace you tired considering getting a honda zook it would be an addition to the collection and try to modify for speed

Elite S scoots have the oil pump hooked up bur no cable ran to them....only SR bikes which are derestricted from the factory have the split cable that opens the oil pump with the throttle...so this bike does still have oil injection
good to know, i’ve had elites but never boughten one stock like this before so first time seeing that !

do you need to get all the cables out of the way when you pressure wash it or not i have a bws from 2001 and shes naste the frame is full of greese from the previous owner spilling 2t oil
no as long as your nozzle on the power washer isn’t on the smaller jet, it could rip or tear a cable cover/wiring if so

What’s the first few mods that provide the best bang for your buck for increased top end?
Changing the engine cylinder to a 70cc and new exhaust 👍 if you want just higher top end but decrease ur acceleration you can change the rollers
Is there an oil pump plug for the prebug
not needed, the prebug is outside the case so you can just delete everything

it’s pretty much same across any moped/ motorcycle . you can def find some vids out there, def easier using a press!

could you please show me how to adjust the carburetor 2 screws on 2 stroke. I hew problems whit my 🙂💪
ones the air/fuel mixture , ones idle. the mixture screw depends on which side of the carb slide it’s located but basically screw out or in will change the amount of fuel or air the carb is pulling. just need a flathead screwdriver and some time to tune!
@@MOPBOYZI have an air/fuel screw on the side where the air filter is connected,roughly how much do I have to unscrew it (to start tuning if it was full inside an how much on idle. Tnx for help bro🙂

If i remember right the regular elite s came with a single cable not a split like the sr? parts diagram ive seen only have the single and my sr has the duel.
not too sure i always just remove the oil pumps regardless hahah. but this oil pump def has a spot for a cable to mount so not sure unless its not original
@@MOPBOYZ My buddies Elite s has the same thing seen guys just zip tie them open for extra oil. everything looked oem with the bike but unsure if it was messed with. Anyway keep up the good work wit the vids!
