This is where the mother can manipulate the situation to turn the children against the father and portray him as a monster. It’s a form of emotional abuse and is as damaging if not more so than physical abuse, as children and fathers can be estranged for years or may never be reconciled.

I have been divorced for 10yrs now. My daughter 13 has seen through her manipulation and control. My son that's 16 yrs old doesn't have much of a relationship with me because of her brain washing. It's ashame because when he's 30 he is gonna want a relationship and it's gonna be to late. I just show up to the best of my abilities right now.

Today being Fathers day and havent seen my children in almost 7 months. Their mom programmed them to see me as a monster. They dont call or text and it hurts me because they were my world. She had an affair and to get me out of the picture filed a false assault charge had me arrested and got sole custody, along with excessive child support and a restraining order, all based on a lie she told...no proof was ever needed by the courts. Truthfully, I just want to delete myself and end this misery, 7 months of endless crying, chest pains, extreme anxiety,depression, panic attacks and nightmares.....Im at my end and ready to just leave

My guy. I am almost in this exact situation minus the arrest. She had the affair. She used non violent but verbal reaction to obtain the restraining order. The judge twisted the words I said to be a threat to her which they were not. She then had the same guy living in house my with her and my kids in less than two months. All the while I support this behavior financially. I haven't seen my children in over six months. I attempted to file an emergency trial to address these issues and it was denied,. Overnight I was just removed from my entire life, left with almost nothing while she just replaced me and carried on with him in my house with my children, pets and all of my possessions. She just took everything including my rights, sleep and sanity. Nobody cares, the courts are as if they are in on it. The lawyers are transferring our worth into thier pockets. Absolutely nothing I can do! You are not alone!. There is no help available for us...
