Sean’s mom was Patty Duke Astin so he was always going to land on his feet in Hollywood.
Ke is so awesome! The sweetest guy and what a great job he did in the movie playing the different versions of the same guy. I love the be kind speech. I cried. My daughter cried. He was so moving. And it applies to us in the world we are living through right now.
I'm so happy for him. I was really rooting for him to win. His performance is amazing.
Everything everywhere all at once is one of the best movie ever made.
I'm very happy to see Ke's get recognition for his performance! That monologue in the movie tugged at my heart 🥲 I hope to see a lot more of him now in the future - great actor but more importantly, just seems like a good person you want to root for in Hollywood.
He is the warmest , kindest, sweetest, honest, humble, empathetic human being I’ve ever seen. He deserves recognition for his outstanding performance on this Film. I could feel that every single word he said , came straight from the depths of his heart.

Ke was so adorable and talented as Short Round in Indiana Jones. It’s incredible to see him back on the big screen playing a role that carries the message of kindness and love and being vulnerable over aggression to resolve tensions and conflicts. Love that he got recognized. Hope the Oscars will be in his favor as well.

The world is truly broken if Ke doesn't win in his category for Oscars - and MAN what a comeback that'll be - what a way to come back to acting and what a way to make all those who ignored him and robbed us of him all this time REGRET it than that. I've always said he should be in any next Indiana Jones movie - now as a grown man and a professional, maybe working at a museum in Beijing before Indy shows up to ask for his help on an adventure and ends up passing the hat and whip to him. THAT's the way I wanted Indy 5 to go - not ....Phoebe Waller Bridge, no offense to her ...but to see Short Round come back (hopefully reveal his real name - that was obviously always a nickname) and save the day. Maybe if we're REALLY lucky they'll slip him into Indy 5 and keep it a secret until the premier!

None of them helped him when he was struggling to find acting jobs. I loved him as Short Round but wasn't really a Goonies fan. I'm glad to see more minority led projects. Hollywood has been missing out on so much money because they refused to have minority led casts thinking they wouldn't make money. I didn't know Ke had martial art skills like that. Too bad he didn't make his own martial art movies while he wasn't getting hire by Hollywood.
To be fair they weren’t huge actors either other then the lotr triology the most successful in the goonies bunch also struggled with his career

He is not Asian-American actor, he is an Asian actor. Tired of the US trying to take credit for wonderful people that represent other countries because they were born outside the US.
He is a naturalized U.S. citizen. He's Asian-American of ethnic Han Chinese descent.

Also the term American is misused by settlers born in the Native American Nation now call the United States. Actually everybody born in the continents of the Americas are Americans. Cubans, Jamaicans, Dominicans, Canadians, Costa Ricans, Salvadorians, Peruvians, Venezuelans, etc, we are all Americans.
