The recent resurgence of veteran actors that were treated horribly by Hollywood for so many years is so incredible. I love seeing Ke, Sheryl, Brendan Fraser, and so many others being rewarded and beloved and finally given the respect and love they've always deserved. Pairing these two in an interview was such an excellent idea. Rare James Corden W!

When Ke's debut blockbuster movie "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" was shot in 1983-1984, Sheryl was playing Deena Jones on Broadway in "the Dreamgirls" at the same time. Isn't it amazing that after almost 40 years, their lives crossed paths, and both are getting these recognitions and accolades.
Love seeing older actors that have been in the industry for decades finally getting their recognition.
Oh, definitely----Ralph's been in the industry for decades, and it's nice to see an underappreciated talent get some recognition, as talented as she is, and Ke Huy Quan's amazing long-shot career comeback is an incredible story by itself. Great to see them together, and talking about their lives and career-changing wins.

I’ve noticed on every show Ke has instant chemistry with every host. Maybe because he’s genuine, kind and humble that one can’t help but gravitate towards him.
Sheryl is such an active listener haha what an absolutely lovely woman. I love Ke and this was such an adorable pairing because they’re both such genuine people ❤

Ke is the most humble guy. He goes up to every actor and gushes over them....not realizing he is also a famous actor himself....I mean look at all those awards he's raked up so far.

That's what I'm saying - for all the scuttlebutt about him, and believe me when I say I don't feel any obligation to cut celebrities slack, he always struck me as not being that awful, and the way he sincerely congratulated them at the beginning seemed like a real, not-phony gesture.

It's absolutely insane he lost his health insurance. That shouldn't be tied to your job, and this is a perfect example of how that holds back so many people who want to follow their passion but can't afford to risk going uninsured.
Perfect example of why we need Medicare for All / Single-Payer Healthcare! You shouldn’t have to win an Oscar to be able to see a doctor.

If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times - I love and support and admire and cherish the actor/human being that is Ke Huy Quan. His story and his journey will never not inspire me and ANYONE who claims they’re not obsessed with him, is lying. ❤

I need these two in my life personally. I feel like I would be such a more joyful person. Sheryl Lee Ralph is mother so she’d be stern but loving and give me an inspirational speech/song and Key Huy Kwan would tell me not to give up on my dreams. He’s someone who has actually been there so it wouldn’t be your wealthy friend who lives on a golf course trying to make you feel better after complaining about their new couch that is only a month old and buys another cuz she can right in front of you and you live in a trailer with hand me down couches. Sorry… I might have got a little personal here.
I feel Sheryl Lee Ralph has been going strong sincce her days as Ginger on It’s a Living. She’s found a way to stay in business since late 80’s. As for Ke Hey Quan I’m happy to see his comeback since his teen years. These two should do something together maybe he guest on Abbott Elementary. Love them both!!

Same here. Had a chance to see him in a private event… he was just there for the $$.. didn’t show any interest in his fans or make time for them after the show. He just came in, did his thing, and wash rushed off by his security.
