  • A lesson on the live version bridge part of You Can't Always Get What You Want by the Rolling Stones. Version I'm playing is off Flashpoint (Steel Wheels tour). Guitar is in open G with a capo at the 5th fret (key of C).

The secret tuning for the original version was G6 and you simply Drop the A down a half step and capo on Fret 5.

I noticed you have the low e off your guitars for this one cause this is when it's about time for new strings.

I have 5 strings on the guitar because the 6th string serves no purpose in open G tuning.

@@MinivanMegafun100 Actually it could (6 String version: D2, G2, D3, G3, B3, D4) cause the 6'th string would be tuned down to a D2, but leave that to me OK?

@@RockStarOscarStern634 or I could play it with 5 strings like how Keith Richards has been doing it for over 45 years.

@@MinivanMegafun100 Yeah I think the Low E String tuned down to D2 lends itself better to something like slide blues. So you're leaving the 6 String Version of Open G Tuning to me, yes, but do you have a slide?
