Now on this particular track Brian Jones is laying down the main slide parts and that’s what Im going to show you in this video.

Fantastic lesson! This makes everything so incredibly clear. Many other teaching videos there's always bits where everything seems to go fuzzy. I am learning a lot from this after just one attempt. Many thanks Paul!

I heard somewhere in a UA-cam comment thread that ry cooder taught Keith about open turnings.
Love ya work. Thumbed and subded.

Hey Grant thanks for watching! I will post something soon from my new course Open G for Acoustic Guitar - covering loads of stuff including Delta Blues - it’s a few weeks away cheers Paul
Thanks Vaughan ! Was going to do sister morphine next which I believe is Ry Cooder playing slide parts in open G cheers Paul

Thankyou glad you enjoyed it
Great sound!
Thanks Michael
thank you.
You're welcome
Beautiful explanation and playing.
That's a tastey Strat you got there, a '67?.
Thanks Keiran , I thinks it’s a 68 though pickups are dated 67 ..
@paulgreig
Yeah, I believe if it's a '68 then an early one.
It has the Schaller "F" tuners but the transitional decal still.
It must be even more rare being a lefty too!.
Peace.
Is it advisable to set your strings to a flat radius for slide?.
It's older 7.25 radius Fenders I mostly play.
Btw that Strat of yours is even rarer still being a custom colour too!.
Arguably a flatter radius is better for slide but I think you can make anything work , string gauge , action all play a part. BTW my strat got resprayed before I got my hands on it - originally sunburst I believe
