I wish back when I studied in 1992 we had this type of studying, now at 53 I'm back to refresh why I didn't get at that time. Really good explanations the preceding video was also great!
Love the way this was created, taught and explained. Using this as supplemental learning, love instructor Devan Sri-Tharan ❤. He makes everything sound so easy 😅
You guys are awesome. So much of knowledge shared with beginners, here on UA-cam, which would otherwise cost a lot of money and learning time, to attain...tq Google team....
35:50 "To transfer 40 MB of date in a second, you will need a transfer speed of 240 Mb per second" Is it a miscalculation or I understand the concept wrongly?
Hello, just a question: Do you actally need any (associates or engineers) for *hardware* tasks in your company?! If so, what certification and what path would suite best fo it? Happy about an answer from google : )
34:52 I think you did a mistake here where you said megabyte per second instead of megabit per second. Although you correct it after when you talked about how people commonly mistaken between the two terms, but it's worth noting. Otherwise the amount of information in this lesson are amazing and helpful, so thanks a lot for that
How can I land an entry level Job with this beautiful google certificate and now experience but only customer service? I don't want to waste my time, I just wamt to land an entry level job from Las Vegas NV
If you complete the certificate program on Coursera, you’ll get job search support, including 1-on-1 coaching, interview practice, and access to a job board. You'll see thousands of job postings from top employers, including over 150 companies (like Google) in the Google Career Certificate Employer Consortium. goo.gle/47Xwmmk
I think you're asking a lot. No certificate guarantees a job, but it can help your chances. Unfortunately, the Google IT cert isn't well recognized in the IT industry. It isn't inherently bad, its just not very recognized. You may get lucky and if you find an organization that heavily uses Google services, that can help. Try looking at local school districts for help desk jobs.
98% percent of the people who finish this course didn’t land any job as IT support. don’t waste your money here. instead study comptia A+ or AWS certificate.

Every single computer youtuber refuses to explain these concepts. I guess its no surprise that google offers in depth explanations.
Main thing is that he takes time explaing it
Thank you for demystifying the engineering. What an incredible teacher.

I love the method of instructor. I wish I could print some of his material because it's a lot to remember.

"To transfer 40 MB of date in a second, you will need a transfer speed of 240 Mb per second"
Is it a miscalculation or I understand the concept wrongly?
Miscalculation, it's supposed to be 320 Mb/s
Oh. I also notice it and checking here is anyone tell about it. It will be 320Mbps.
miscalculation as it ought to be 40 x 8 = 320 Mb/s
I really need this course thanks so much for uploading this information.
A great refresher course. 😊
Thank you so much for this detailed explanation 😁

is there a recommended order for the videos?
at 35:34 shouldn't it be 320megabits/second transfer speed? not 240?
Awesome! But I rather have less scenery and more information that appears on test.
Great video, very interesting!
Thanks. Please where do I get the supplementary reading?

21:08 is inaccurate/outdated. We now have DDR5 available as of Oct 2020.
Awesome. Thanks.
What initiates autosave in a word document? Is that a software or hardware thing?
Software.
CPU is processing data like a challenge level of 2048 puzzle game
A bit outdated haha but DDR5 exists now! (has been for a few years)
The computer bus *is* like a school bus! Instead of students it transports electrons

I assume that'd be considered entry level?
and where is that 98% percent you get from? these courses are just basic and nowhere in the course stated you'd confirm get a job after clearing.
It’s good basic info for people starting from scratch.
It is a good thing to start the basics
Any advice on how we could get it done within the one week trial?
