OVER 50? Test Your Shoulder Mobility: Bellingham Physical Therapy

  • It's not a big surprise we get a bit tighter as we become "more mature". At 55, I know that I'm losing a bit of my flexibility, BUT we can regain lost mobility with focused stretching and mobilization. In this video, I take you through two tests to determine if you have "normal" shoulder flexion and rotational ability. If not, then try to do the mobilizations I talk about in the video and see if they help. Give it a try and let me know in the comments if it helped! Thanks for watching

    Very clear instructions and demos, thank you! I already use a lacrosse ball pre-workout…this gives me a clearer idea of how to target the shoulders.

    Would using a tennis ball work?

      Yes it can, but I do recommend a lacrosse ball since it's smaller and firmer and can fit in smaller places. Good luck!
