Well it certainly takes inspiration from Risk of Rain for the items sprites. Looks like a really cool game, I might check it out
Great to see one of the bigger channels covering the game! I’m really excited about it and have played the new demo for about 4 hours so far. Here are my pointers:
1. You can quick-swap your weapons with the arrow keys on your controller.
2. You can inspect items by holding the left stick upwards before picking them up. There’s a tooltip for it in the game but it’s quite easy to miss.
The demo features the first two levels of the game, one mini boss and one main boss. The devs said on Discord that the full release should have 4 main bosses and 7 levels with 10 biomes, so it should be pretty deep, and they are planning to add more content after the launch.
Dan you gotta Turtleneck your enemies so they look even snazzier in their Cardigans.
Having elements of the background that are pretty much indistinguishable from enemies is a bold strategy. Lets see if it pays off for them

Oh yea those fireflies. We devs have grown totally blind to them, but we do have plans to replace them for the full release! Should have already done that for the demo though
