Man good to see you out in the wind. No inspection in California but we have to register it every year.
That’s the way to go (pun intended).
I got my bike out the other day for a ride before the temp dropped and the sky opened up! First time this year! Of course, had to add air to the tires but also needed to put the new sticker on my license plate. Felt great to ride again!

In Texas we get an inspection notice. It gets taken care before it’s due. It’s in my DNA to pay my bills before due. Not much before, but before due dates. Now, welcome back G. Way too long. Hope you and family are doing well. Your tarmac slaying and riding kit still looks as sharp as ever. Just installed clear Hand Wings by the good folks down at Wind Wings. Yes my Cycle Gear provides those services you mention. Nice job here Gil.
Good to see you out on 2s, Gil! I get a notice for registration, but we don't have inspections except for when you register.
As for hippo hands... I haven't used 'em in 20 years. I have heated gloves, but now have heated grips - and I prefer the grips. They kept my hands warm enough all winter.
I do miss the heated gloves at times but the dexterity with the thin gloves is hard to beat. Nice to have the option to swap whenever I want.

Just picked up a competitor of the GS, Triumph Tiger GT 1200. And I still have my 2018 Honda Goldwing Tour DCT. I’ll see which one is better for touring. I also picked up the Shad top case and side panniers in black. Let’s roll !!!!! Thanks for your videos, keep up the outstanding work.

No Gov't inspections needed here in Ohio. Same for cars. Just a way for your state to get more cash.
It appears to be a money grab, especially for motorcycles less than 5 years old.
It is definitely annoying… but not a huge money grab. It’s $6 in NY. The bigger issue is finding a shop that can do it, and bringing the bike over. Most of the inspection stations near me are regular car places & don’t want to do an ad hoc inspection if they are busy. Again, it’s only $6, so I can’t blame them.
My bike is ALWAYS ready to ride! Never put it away and forget it, then there are never any nasty surprises! What's all that rubbish about "riding season"? The season starts on January 1st and ends on December 31st! Wimps!
