These cutscenes are crazy as hell
Of course the shower scene is here
dude I never noticed this, but in 7:35 Yukari humms the Memories Of You melody. THAT'S SO COOL OMG
WHAT THE FRICK!? YOU'RE RIGHT!
The cutscenes are easily the part of Reload that puts me off the most. The OG had such a distinct, bleak style to its anime cutscenes. While the movies lost that, they made up for it in the direction and execution of their scenes - the protagonist's awakening was so freaking good!
Reload feels like it's trying to emulate the movies without understanding what made them work so well, and it can't even be bothered to 2D animate some of the important ones (like said awakening), so it comes off as a hollow imitation.
5:46 the sounds effects are FIREE at this part
21:05 it hits hard when you only had a romance with Yukari
Then you realize it looks ripped straight out of the manga too
Honestly I think I prefer the Tartarus introduction cutscene in reloaded over the original.
I would love to see a video on the 3D cutscenes too, since I found them more impressive
i believe Persona 3 anime has been done 3 times; the OG P3 cutscene , The anime movie, and This P3R cutscenes..
a lot of quality improvement
Im pretty sure they got the same studio that animated Spy X Family to do the cutscenes, so its kind of weird to see the shift on some cutscenes being pretty good and others being a little off.
WiT absolutely killing it
Took me a while to realized what you meant by "WiT" until I found out that they're the studio that did all the Anime Cutscenes in this Remake 😅
I wonder if they are still gonna be animating the Anime Cutscenes for the Aigis Expansion like they did with the Base game?
Really? WiT?
Kinda disappointing. WiT usually can do much better. But looks like here they didn't try...
@@KeyleeTamirian go animate that shit yourself then
The one I will never forgive them for ruining is the destruction of Tartarus. This one had everyone talking, and Aigis's tears weren't even a part of the cutscene. They were just treated as regular in-game dialogue. In the original, the only thing we heard were the strokes of the clock, and Aigis silently spilled tears with the final stroke of midnight. The original was downright beautiful, and this was a steaming pile of shit.
No one gives a fuck, original cutscene sucked
3:19 why cant she pull the trigger? i mean it isnt a real gun right? so i never understood why she was scared
I guess there's also a pressure of learning how to use, or even control her power.
It represents the danger of death. By fighting shadows in the Dark Hour you have to acknowledge that your life is in danger and that you could die. That's why the evoker is shaped like a pistol. You're accepting your fate
I mean, a lot of the times it knocks their head back so there has to be some sort of impact unless they’re all weird like that.
Are you going to do japanese dub too?
8:10 @Vano_Op
”Damn, thats freaking crazy”
8:53 timestamp for someone
honestly i don't hate these but the ryoji and aigis confrontation cutscene sucks so bad like yeah cut out everything that made it visually interesting who cares anymore 😭
i don't care if the fighting looks good or if the animation is good p3re anime cutscenes are so nothingburger i wonder how the erebus cutscene will look like in episode aigis unless they'll just do it in 3d ?
Original cutscenes all sucked
Why did Aigis have emotions during the bridge scene? Shit doesnt make sense.
The whole game she was having gradual growth towards humanity, I don’t think it’s that absurd for her to show at least a little bit by that point
@@Jaeisthename Shes too human at that point.
@@graveltheblock5578 All she did was shrink back in fear when Ryoji started tweakin, sure the apologizing might’ve been excessive but it was still a good addition
They ruin the music then they ruin the cutscenes? The awakening isnt even 2d nor does any of the cutscenes look like love was put into them
Pouring honey on my goat Wit
Just like P5.
It is indeed a persona game
@@comrademew6803 I'm just saying that the gameplay has some elements from Persona 5.
@@heroboygamebase2286*saying
@@heroboygamebase2286This video has no gameplay footage tho...
No shit sherlock
Goddammit... They ruined it, they RUINED IT SO BAD 😢 while the animation is neat (although not as good as P5 vanilla version) the scenes LACK of emotions, feel rushed and are poorly directed.
This is a big disappointment...
I agree! The pacing of these animations is waaaaaay off! Not only that but the voices don't really help...
I like it
I will say, they absolutely nailed the Ryoji and Aigis scene
Now I agree with this I’m glad yall are criticizing some of the bad points that they did with persona 3 if you saw the top comic “how to ruin gaming cinematic history:” comment the lack of emotions I can see as well as it being a little rushed and poorly directed
@@Ghosthepimpgonna have to stop you right there though pal the VAs are pretty great for the remake and the music is great
How to ruin absolute cinematic pieces of art of the gaming history:
“ruin”
@@lewis9s Yes, ruin. With all the letters.
This is one of the opinions
Why exactly are they ruined?

>Plots
Basically everything. If it seems good to you excellent, go on with your life; but objectively the majority of scenes, both 2D and 3D, are a lack of respect for the original work.
@sanjixalv6956 The story is literally the same??? The atmosphere is meant to be different
Persona 3 is a game about life and Reload was meant to be a more hopeful version
