Apart from having great production skills, this guy might be one of the best at teaching. The way he explains things makes you feel like he's exploring new concepts with you, which is the best way to teach.
The crazy thing is that the original song was made with Splice samples without even changing the tempo or pitch. But it's dope that you're making a remake from scratch, deconstructing the track. Nice work, bro!
I so respect highly skilled producers. Most people don’t really understand or appreciate what they do and what they add to the final product. This song is superbly produced. What you did here is amazing. You have seriously cool skills.
I very rarely comment on vids, but this is brilliant. I’ve watched 100s, probably well over 1000+ hours of music production videos on YT and this is one of the best I’ve seen in terms of process and creative decision making. So much gold here. Very happy this came up in my feed. Insta-subscribe. Thanks, man - keep it up! 🔥 🙌🏻
You know what makes this tutorial special? The way you love the music. It really makes a difference to see how happy you are recreating the song. Best wishes and thank you! 🙏🏻
Wow! I’m a singer-songwriter and a beginner producer, but videos like this really inspire me to keep learning production even when it gets challenging! Your passion for music really comes through. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! 💙
Hey i just checked your song "Sweet summer child" 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Im a producer and I've been trying to get into some pop stuff, let me know if you're down to work I can help with the production for your songs
I am a teacher in Mathematics by profession and the way you're doing this ticks a lot of qualities of a good teacher. It's very inductive and comprehensive without the feeling of overload. It's also very seamless and very well edited with helpful explanations and all. I love it so much
Dude when I heard your recreated clip of Espresso - I subscribed INSTANTLY. Didn't even need to watch the rest of the video, I knew it would be great - and it was. Superb.
Thanks to this video, I finally realized how I should listen to kick in the mix - from my smartphone speakers. Because listening with headphones it seemed to me that kick was getting through well enough, and when I switched to smartphone and started listening to the video at the moment with equalization, I realized that before equalization kick was hardly audible at all on small speakers, and after that - night and day
È da un po’ che seguo i tuoi video ma non avevo proprio capito che fossi italiano, grandi complimenti sia per i contenuti che porti sia per questo remake in particolare!
Sometimes i try to finish my songs and got stress cause i cant achive the sounds that i want. Not just that u thought me a lot man but the way u make stuff remind me to actually have fun making music. Thank you brother love this one! keep it up 🔥🔥
Again, as a FL Studio user I was able to understand everything and I think I might be able to imitate most of the process with the tools I have. Great teacher, great attention to detail.
First time coming across your channel. I think it is really cool that you described what a plugin does or what an effect is like when you used a shimmer plugin. It is very much appreciated. 👏🏽
Consistent theme in this video - "I'm doing X because I want Y." Too often I see producers doing things habitually that aren't necessary or creatively driven; really appreciate your thought process and decision making throughout. And the reproduction SLAPS!
discovered your channel 2 days ago and i have learned more about music production than i have in the past year. thank you so much, your videos are so well edited and your tips are so so helpful!!
I just loved every seconds of this video but the most crazy thing was quando hai cominciato a parlare in italiano... non immagini la mia faccia quando l'ho sentito . Grande bro❤
As someone who is trying to learn music production by myself at home, the way you explain everything makes it easy for me to understand and learn new things;; i can actually take notes on your thought process and such…! Thank you so much hehe you did great making it from scratch!
Came here just to find out what the sound is called in espresso its my favorite part and now i know its the synth lead! thank u for this cool and insightful video!
Watched this and the Houdini breakdown and you’ve got yourself another subscriber. Excellent videos! You also teach very well, and gave me new ideas to try in my productions. Thank you and keep up the good work!
The fact that it’s exactly the same is insane and you were so insightful!
Awesome video dude!!! Something i don't understand is, you can hear these layers a lot better that i can, is this because you have a good ear or you listened to it a bunch of times
@@badhabitDamn it, the more I listen to this song, the more I notice the layers!!! And this is showing up in. Other songs too!!! I have watched this video too many times, what a great song, sooo much life to it!
Such an amazing tutorial. Imma need you to make a video of your favourite plugins (and some of those that you used in the video) because they sound so good! just subscribed btw 👐
Grandeeee!!
@badhabit just one more thing, explain me a guitar stack you created. There was at least 3 groups, but didn't get it completely. Can you divide into little list?
I was watching your video, UA-cam suggested it, I've never searched for it... Anyway I end up watching it and I understand everything of course and then suddenly you say "perché ogni volta che non registro vado a tempo, poi quando devo registrare..." and I'm like woooooooooo another competent Italian who speaks English because he does quality content! Anyway thumbs up and subscribed 😁
At first I did not have much respect for her😅but seeing how many instruments she can play I realize that amount of time and devotion to learning a skill is impeccable and probably why her new music has some soul to it, I'm really proud of her progress and dedication to being a complete brand.
Italian Espresso or American Coffee? ☕
Turkish Coffee ☕️
por favoree....
God forbid an expresso.
double shot flat white
Army coffee for sure

The entire track is actually built around the Splice loop "OLIVER_104_pop_loop_rhythm_lead_C.wav"
I found out too late 😅
@@badhabitDouble respect for the way you reproduced this. Really cool.
😭😭😭
Only the loop rhythm😂
it show how the producter now do almost anything that insane
The crazy thing is that the original song was made with Splice samples without even changing the tempo or pitch. But it's dope that you're making a remake from scratch, deconstructing the track. Nice work, bro!
thanks so much, much appreciated!
SURF DAD!
I think its really cool that you recreated it from scratch instead of using the splice loop!
Thank you!!
One of the best tutorials I've seen in a while. Nice job bro!

Man, I’m so glad you‘re doing this, I really appreciate it! Your videos inspire me so much every time, please never stop😅
Happy to hear that haha won't stop!!
I used your explanation to create the instrumental for my cover, and it turned out great! I'm very grateful.
