Not everyone needs one, especially if they typically wear a cheaper pair. But many people have sunglasses that cost $100+, and it's nice to have something to protect them. And for those who appreciate nice things, a leather one provides the quality and luxury they prefer.
It’s mostly for people who appreciate handmade crafts , it’s almost like saying why buy a newer car when you can use a chum bucket because some people just like nicer things , or why use a pencil when you can write with charcoal . Point is it can be said about a lot of things it’s simply preference , also it’ll last forever kinda like when you go through your parents and grandparents or even great grandparents stuff and you find things in good condition because they were made with quality something’s even handmade and they can be passed down and used and admired by future generations .
@@CastilloHeritageCrafts My glasses cost more than $100 but if I had to buy protection it would have to be closed or sealed. And also something important I don't want to hang and swing on the side of my hip. Yes I definitely don't want anything hanging from my hip it's really kind of cumbersome.
Handmade leather goods aren't cheap, and quality costa. Some folks are happy with the inexpensive/free case that came with their glasses and that's perfectly fine. He's trying to make a living making a product for people who prefer something different, and that's fine too. I don't recall him criticizing anyone who is happy with the case they have?
