Could watch you build FEs all day. Someday i would like you to build my original owner 69 SCJ. Engine is running nicely now but i imahine what you could do with it. Hope all is well with your health.
Hi Chris: I'm new to the channel, and I think the information you are sharing is just amazing. I have a question in reference to the block. I have seen a couple of companies that offer cross bolt main caps. Are they worth the time and money and will they get you more out of a truck 390 block? Thanks in advance Brent =)
Love the videos. Maybe I missed it but do you have to check clearance between rocker arms on the shaft? Some of mine seem tight after moving the shims for aluminum head application. Thanks. Looking forward to dyno numbers
Looking forward to the dyno video and hope your ticker is 💯

Sweet build! Can't wait to see the H.P. numbers. 👍
I like it when you show some of the actual work that you do when assembly is taken place 😊
Wow a lot of detail work in a long lasting engine 😳 thanks 😊
Great video and good luck with your MRI.
It's wild watching how far down those rocker arms go at full lift on the valve!
I have to watch an earlier build video for the cam specs.
Luv those valve covers Brent. Good luck with the MRI results!
get well dude best wishes
Sweet Engine
Thoughts and Prayers from down under regards your health Brent 🙏

I rember back in the early 80's the Shaft End Support would be held in place by the head stud or bolt.
Lykins Motorsports Hi Brent. What plug gap did did you set the 3924's too?

Whats bore stroke to get that cubic inch
4.08" bore
4.25" stroke
This one is actually 4.090" x 4.250". It's 447 cubes.
Good luck on your doctor report, Why didn't you put electric water pump on it
Pretty close to having coil bind
.090-.100".
