I know this is quite toxic so I decided to put on my hazmat, face shield & gloves because it was a little bit windy. I followed your instructions to a “T.” Do I need a second application or once is enough for the whole summer?
I have the most dandelions & clover leaves in the neighborhood. I was planning to hire a lawn company. Your video changed my mind. I’m excited to see the outcome after 7 days.
If you have a lot of weeds I would hit them with a second application in about a month.

Yes, I definitely suggest doing a couple applications. Do the second one a couple weeks later.

can you use it in hot temps like august? and how often can you use it? great job! i thumbed it. also, will new 'grass' bermuda, grow in the dead weeds place, or just brown spots will appear? thanks!
Yes, you can use it it hot temperatures. However, apply it in the morning after the dew dries. If you wait too late in the day then the hot temperatures could evaporate some of the product making it less effective.
You’ll have a lot of dead spots in the lawn. Some of the good grass will eventually spread, but it’s best to overseed the lawn before the first snowfall or in the fall when temperatures are cooler.

Definitely do another application. If the first application didn’t kill any weeds then contact the company for a refund. You may have had a defective bottle.
Generally it’s best to overseed in the fall so the snow melt packs the seed into the soil. However, depending on where you live this may not matter.
If that’s the case, wait about a month or until you’ve mowed the lawn a couple more times to add new grass seed.

I have to say, the lawn you sprayed and the lawn that you showed 7 days later, did not look like the same lawn at all. Of course there were no land marks or reference points
that would confirm this either way.
It’s definitely the same place, but you’re right. The lawn looks totally different due to the treatment. No weeds makes a huge difference in the appearance.
Not only did it look different, you did not show the whole lawn like you did before.
I'm going to have to agree with you this does not look like the same yard there should be some signs of dead weeds in the lawn. Why not a wide shot of the yard like before?
Does the level of liquid in the bottle lower as you apply it to the lawn?
I just sprayed about 4000 SW ft and the level is still at about 30 oz.
Some of the product dripped onto my hand while applying. It is brown and smells like dead fish. When I smell the water coming out of the nozzle, it just smells like water.
There must be something wrong with your suction. You should be spraying the liquid on the lawn thereby reducing the level of liquid in the bottle.
@@HowToVideoChannel thanks. Ended up calling the company and they are sending me a new nozzle. I don't have time to wait so I measured it out, put it in a backpack sprayer, and got after it

What are the steps after spraying the weed killer? Do i water the grass the next day? After a week, do i mow then dethatch. After that aerate then seed?
Great question!
After spraying the weed killer wait a week to make sure all of the weeds are dead. Then mowing and dethatching would be a great idea to open up your lawn.
At that point you have two options. You can either aerate and seed right away. Or, if you live in a place that has snow in the winter, then you can wait until before the snow to overseed the entire lawn.
Old video so I hope you see this question. Can I mow the lawn first? Its April and my grass is getting pretty long. Since I have to wait 7 days to see results, I'd like to mow it first so it's not annoying to the neigbors. Would that be ok?
Yes, you can mow the lawn first. That won’t hurt anything. In fact, it may even help. Since cutting the grass will open up the blades it may help the solution be absorbed.
Therefore, I’d spray it on the same day you mow. Then wait a week and if you have a lot of weeds, spray on another treatment to really knock em dead!

So after the weeds die do you suggest taking in order to get the dead weeds removed?
Once the weeds die you should plant grass seed and spray it with some of the new grass tonics posted on my channel.
How long to reapply this product
@@HowToVideoChannel when you say plant do you mean resoil? Do you take up the dead weeds?
I usually allow the weeds to die and leave them alone. However, if you have a lot of them then you may want to rake the yard or thatch it to remove most of them.
Then, scatter some good perennial grass seed and make sure to water and stay off of it so that it grows.

Can I use this on a flowerbed? I have rose bush but TONS weeds has taken over
I don’t think I would try it. Maybe, if you were careful not to spray any on the rose bush.

I would use it before you oversees. Wait at least a week so that all of the bad stuff is dead. That way the new seed has room to grow.
I applied this product at noon two days ago. At that time, the temperature is lower than 90 degree. However, there was a rain around 6 hours after application. The product did not work. Do you need to mow your lawn before applying this product?
You don’t need to mow your lawn before splitting the product. If you don’t notice any results, contact the company for a refund.

It’s possible that the grass that has yellowed is actually a type of weed:
What would happen if I just dumped it on the lawn?
Then it wouldn’t be spread evenly.
I think the bottle says Bermuda grass will brown. I almost bought that seed

I used the Spectracide hose sprayer and it killed nothing, no dandelions, no clover - nothing. Used Weed B Gone in tank sprayer and it killed everything. Just my experience.

Haven’t seen many videos that say this product works. Many of the other videos everyone in the comments including the video review is that it’s not a good product. I ended up watching this video because I applied this product two weeks ago and it is not been successful yet.
It has been a great product for me. However, it was more effective years ago (2015-17). Since then, they’ve either changed the formula or weeds have become resistant. Probably both!
I’ve found that you’ll have to do 2 applications about 3 weeks apart for it to be effective.
Also, if it doesn’t work. Be sure to contact the company and get a refund.
I’ve tried this it works ok but doesn’t kill all weeds so it’s not a fix all solution.
Right, it only kills about 250 different types of weeds.
I don't get the point of doing this, these "weeds" almost look like grass and they make the garden green!
It’s all based on a preference of how you want your lawn to look.
