This was very helpful! Illustrator is running so much more smoothly for me on my PC now, even when I'm applying multiple effects that used to slow down the app. Thanks!
Glad it helped. You're welcome 🙂
Your idea to update the studio driver helped me with an issue of Illustrator not detecting GPU. Thank you very much!

i have a question i have crack versions first of all so i have Pr 2020 and Ae 2022 and its show to replacment box grey do i have to download Pr 2022 for the dynamic linking
Good question. Yes, you need to have same versions to work properly.
I for some reason dont have the 3 dots in GeForce experience, I have an RTX quadro 5000 and used to have illustrator and premier and such show up in GeForce experience, but I cant set the check for updates to install studio driver anymore? any suggestions? I have uninstalled a ton of different drivers and reinstalled GeForce experience several times to see if it would appear thanks. Running WIndows 11.
Your gpu might not support it. May be that's the reason, you are unable to see proper settings
@@FlixityOfficial hmmm it used to:(
It used too? have you updated nvidia geforce experience?
Thanks so much for your guiding. I am using 3060Ti but after applied your setting, I see no much improvement. Especially for Overprint preview….
I see. What's your adobe illustrator version and what's your use on it? Do you make 3d graphics?
@@FlixityOfficial i don’t use for 3D graphic. Just for the Color Separation (PrePress job). I am using version 2021 and 2022.
i did these adjustments on 3080 ti with 12900k and 64 DDR4 of ram. My heavy artwork looks smoother
Great. Glad to hear that.

What's your illustrator version?
Can you show the performance about before using GPU and not
Sure. You can also notice difference while editing and exporting the final illustration.

My gpu is 1660 ti
@@FlixityOfficial Tnks Bro
You're welcome 🙂
Thanks for such a useful video. But I have a problem with the Geforse Experience program. It does not show the Illustrator program. I have an official Adobe subscription and not a single Adobe program shows up there. All programs are updated to the latest version. Computer video card Geforse RXT 3070
In nvidia control panel settings or geforce experience?
@@FlixityOfficial on geforece experience . i have same issue
Same for photoshop 2022 ?
Thx
There is a slight difference for photoshop. Already made a video on it, watch that tooo. Thanks
I have only two options in low latency option OFF OR ULTRA which to choose?
Choose on!
@@FlixityOfficial there is no "ON" option only showing ultra or off😅
Ultra is better than. If you see or note any instability choose off then
Why there is not showing illustrator in geforce experience? Even it is already and properly installed in my system
Sometimes it depends upon your system and illustrator version!
Hello! I just did everything you said in the video, but whenever i use the 3d settings it get really slow. Im using RTX 3060.
In that case, if that causes your illustrator to slow down, keep it low or off.
@@FlixityOfficial Hi ! It does the same thing to me, what do you mean by "slow down, keep it low or off" please ?
It means, you can apply nvidia control panel settings normal, don't apply max settings.
@@FlixityOfficial I followed the first steps of your tutorial, but even after selecting "Studio driver" in Nvidia, I don't see the Illustrator app appear in the home
It might not appear in home page, but sometimes it appears if nvidia geforce experience finds it and applies settings automatically. Just make sure illustrator is in default directory
Not able to add illustrator in geforce experience PLEASE HELP!!
No need to add illustrator in geforce experience, add it in nvidia control panel
geforce experience hasn't detected adobe illustrator. what to do?
If it's not detected. That's fine. Proceed with other steps
will this work with rtx 3050?
Give it a try! It would definitely work
my problem is geforce experience got show up illustrator but cannot be optimize, ady editing open and close also the same result, why like this........
What's your adobe illustrator version?
@@FlixityOfficial 2019
Upgrade to latest version and what's your gpu by the way?
@@FlixityOfficial tuf gaming 1060 graphic card
Graphics card is good. You should not face any issues while making graphics in adobe illustrator
Can I add a app to the driver window if it does not scan automatically?
Yes, for sure
How? I added the location however it still does not see Illustrator or Photoshop or any of the Adobe apps. It sees Adobe Dimension but nothing else. Thx
@@FlixityOfficial
I have mentioned that in my video! You can click on Add, then the programs list will show up, find from there. If still you are unable to locate it. Click on browse and provide path to your illustrator. Let me know if you need any help! Thank you
I did as you said in the video and when I scan it still does not show in the HOME window. Does it need to show in the HOME window to use the settings you suggest? BTW, AWESOME videos. My render time on AE has gone from .10 seconds a frame to .02 a frame. Good stuff.@@FlixityOfficial
It's not necessary to have all programs at home screen! So it's normal. And you're welcome!
