NVIDIA Control Panel BEST Settings For AFTER EFFECTS 2023 Fix After Effects Not Using GPU To Render

- In this video I will show you the best NVIDIA control panel settings for After Effects 2023. We will see perfect settings to fix Adobe after effects not using GPU to render 2023. I have divided video in 3 main parts.
First of all we will change settings in NVIDIA GEFORCE EXPERIENCE to make Display Driver select NVIDIA Studio Driver to increase rendering speed in After Effects. Next We will go to NVIDIA Control panel and customize the GPU Settings for after effects to enable GPU acceleration in after effects. In the end, we will change Adobe After Effects settings to enable GPU Acceleration (CUDA) to increase rendering speed in after effects.
Basically Nvidia control panel is designed to customize the usage the GPU in many applications. We will try to enable GPU to be used in Adobe after effects so that After effects can use GPU while rendering and for the preview of composition.

Cool stuff my friend :))) Massive improvement!!!!! The main was studio driver which I didnt even know it exists and of course secret option. But when I monitor the GPU utilisation, GPU is still somewhere beteween 0 - 25%, which I would expect to be fully used. Anyway, Saved me hours of rendering. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

if i both play games and use softwares like after effects, which driver should i choose? or maybe i should change it everytime i use one or the other?
I do the same most of the time, I am using Studio Driver, that works best for both games and editing!

Load depends upon the effects and system specifications.

@@FlixityOfficial Yes, there is Antiallising mood - that I can change (is it nessesary change?), and there is Antiallising setting, there is (Use global settings - Application controlled) - it' not active. My GPU is RTX 3060

I am using adobe AE 2024 & GeForce RTX 2060, but rendering is still using CPU not the GPU. It shows 0% on GPU when rendering :(

Bro idk why, but render and preview slowed down more after applying this settings. My specs are i7 14700k, 32 gb Ram, Rtx 4070 ti. Could it be because of particle effects?
Partials effect is cpu and ram dependent. It will definitely slow down your aftereffects

Individual settings are best for applying separately if not apply global settings

AE 2023, after applied these settings, render speed slowed down significantly from say 5'51" to well over 10 mins, very strange

I have a problem. I have a GeForce RTX 4080 card and I've installed the updated NVIDIA drivers. How is it possible that in the "GPU Information" section of the 3D Draft, it's telling me that the RAM or drivers are inadequate? It's not detecting my graphics card. What do I do?

It's because Aftereffects mostly use cpu and ram to render the effects being used!

Bro make sure ram reserved for other application is lowest. Aftereffects should have maximum ram available

@@FlixityOfficial hi. anything after 'Use:' under 'project settings>video rendering and effects'. also in GPU information. it only detected the video card of my processor. i got AE 2023 and RTX 4070 laptop.
You need to configure your gpu, your dedicated gpu is not being detected. Aftereffects is detecting only integrated gpu
@@FlixityOfficial it surely is detected coz it says here in the 'NVIDIA GPU Activity', After Effects (and other media software active) is using the GPU.
@@FlixityOfficial can this be about the latest driver? when i checked the games and apps it supports, after effects is not on the list. on the list was adobe illustrator, which i have, and it is detecting the GPU. but nvidia has a recommendation where after effects is mentioned in the driver's description. it was the October 2023 driver. does this happen?
