  • Singer Jerry Vale died May 18, 2014, in Palm Desert, California, at the age of 83. He is interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Cathedral City, California. I grew up in the 1950s and 1960s listening to pop music groups The Beatle, The Rolling Stones and The Mamas And The Papas, but I also listened to singers like Jerry Vale. I would listen to Sinatra and Martin and Vale on our local desert radio station KWXY, which is now 107.3 MOD FM. And they're still playing Jerry Vale songs every day and I'm still listening. What's your favorite Jerry Vale song? Please leave a comment below.

My dad met him by the pool in Miami. Dad said Jerry had just bought a new watch and was showing it to him. It was one of those new fancy digital kind and he was quite enamored with it. Dad said he was the nicest down to earth humble man. I to was brought up on his music. Sweet sweet memories. Thanks for the video.

There are so many wonderful Jerry Vale songs, but my favourites include More, Till, Go and Yellow Days. Thank you for posting this great video - I would like to visit Jerry one day.

Great singer. I have the CD of songs in Italian and my favorite is the theme to the movie Mondo Cane. The title is More.

I love all Jerry's songs, but a few of my great favourites are "Time alone will tell", "He", "I've gotta be me" - etc. He is the best of the best, as far as I am concerned. Sadly in the U.K. he is not widely known and is never played on the radio. You are very lucky in the States to have a radio station where you can hear his great music. Thanks for posting this video. A British fan.

Firstly I am a huge fan of Jerry. May I ask a question, coming from the UK we don't have the beautiful wall crypts like in the USA. Are the deceased ashes kept behind the marble name plate? Didnt want to come across as morbid, just interested to know.

Hi Steve, it’s probably hard to tell on the video, but the Crypts Old full-size coffins. The much smaller niches have the ashes placed behind the name plaque. I hope that makes sense.
