- Music from the TNG episode Sarek, in which Ambassador Sarek experiences some emotional turmoil and cries during a performance of Johannes Brahms Op. 18 by Data's quartet.
When I heard this, I ordered the CD of the Brahms sextet, which will always be known to me as the "music that made Sarek cry."
I understand why Sarek was so moved by this
One of the greatest scenes in the Star Trek franchise.
powerful to bring sarek to tears 😢🖖
One of the best scenes in Star Trek
This is the music I want to be played as I lie dying. It is so beautiful and yet so reassuring. I was pleased that Sarek too chose it.
One of the best episodes of any tv show. Powerful stuff.
i am here bcuz i just seen it on tv and i was curious to find it thanks
Love this scene so much. Thank you!
Hey, there's this one generic track that played in that 30th anniversary promo with Kate Mulgrew, but I can't find it. Do you think you could find it or find a way to get the track by itself? :)
Short, but nonetheless STUNNING!
Beautiful indeed ❤
RIP Mark Lenard
How on earth did you get this recording? It's the master recording of the track used in the episode. You can tell by the repeat at the end instead it going into the cello lead in the original composition.,.,
looks like the bots got you too SGTBizarro
Yeah it looks that way, thanks for the heads up, I hadn't even noticed those two. I did notice a few other ones, profile pictures of beautiful girls with comments like "did you see my video about you?" My 90s pop-up ad senses were tingling pretty good there lol.
Does anybody know where the recording of this is from? I think this version is just about perfect, better than other version I've heard.
Been trying to find this actual recording for years. Totally agree with you. Most emotive rendition I have ever heard,
