I first rode Behemoth in 2009 and I was in love and it was the coaster that got me into roller coasters and theme parks. I still love this roller coaster and it still gives great airtime. Now it does have a prominent rattle but I don’t mind it. This ride has excellent capacity and the line does move quickly and you don’t stay in the same spot for long. I love these trains since the back let’s you get yeeted over each drop. After 14 years I still love this ride over Leviathan. If you come back when it is a hot day and little wind, trust me this ride will fly.
I like that they did 2 of the 3 biblical feature names in Leviathan and Behemoth, but they haven’t used Ziz, the third name yet. Maybe the name is just too stupid. It would be a great returns for Flight Deck with new trains though.
Ziz is not biblical as it is found nowhere in the Jewish Torah or Old Testament scriptures. It's a Jewish mythological creature, createdmany centuries after the Jewish Talmud. Behemoth? Nope. Leviathan is in the Greek Septuagint New Testament book of Revelation of John and is just a descriptor of Satan.
Leviathan and Behemoth actually come from actually from old Jewish folklore that preceded the bible and was part of the old testament. Golem and Gilgamesh come from the same place.
Thank you for your Canada's Wonderland reviews. A couple friends of ours have season passes, and we're thinking of taking our son for the first time. I haven't been there myself since I was a teenager when Top Gun was the most-hyped coaster (Vortex was wayyyy better, and Wild Beast was fun because there was like no wait time -- nobody wanted to go on the old wooden coasters). I'd like to try Behemoth out, and check out the kiddie land with our little one. Thanks for helping us get hyped!
I love the entry & sign marque! I studied art/graphic design & worked in AstroWorlds sign shop + another shop before moving to food service. i did it because a fellow ACE member was a waiter & traveled the globe riding roller coasters. I've gotten my fair share of rides during the week taking random short vacations. Canada's Wonderland is truly a favorite of mine. Cedar put a lot of love in that park.
It's amazing that this is the most visited seasonal Cedar Fair park, and it's not even the flagship park, Cedar Point. Canada's Wonderland did 3.96 million visitors in 2019, which is nuts. Now Cedar Point's attendance for 2019 isn't known, but I'm sure Canada's Wonderland would still beat Cedar Point's attendance regardless. Cedar Fair just invests well into this park, and can't wait what they do in the future.
Currently my favorite B&M hyper. I really enjoyed my recent rides on Diamondback but the floater that I experienced on Behemoth back in April blew my mind.

I love Leviathan, but Behemoth was my 100th coaster. I think it’s in the top tier of B&M Hypers and it’s running much better than some others-I just rerode last month. I like it much more than some of the newer ones that everyone else seems obsessed with . . .
I think you meant to say Leviathan @ 2:06 rather than Yukon Striker. Intimidator doesn't have a camelback directly after its drop, then when it does it has a trim break on it, followed by another turnaround, followed by a hill with a trim on it before a hill without a trim on it. Now that doesn't mean that those early trim breaks will necessarily trim the speed of the trains, but there must be something to be said for coasters that don't even have trims until later in the ride (like Diamondback) rather than having (and often using) them right away (like Intimidator). Behemoth is in between but at least it has an untrimmed camelback directly after the 1st drop and just looks like it has a better layout than Intimidator. I guess it depends on which trims where hitting when you rode it. When I rode it the trims only hit on the 1st camelback after the turnaround then not again until it lightly tapped the train on the MCBR. This is why my bucketlist B&M hyper after Fury 325 is Diamondback, even it has a rattle due to unstable ground. I prefer Behemoth in any seat in the back car over any seat on Leviathan but every seat on Leviathan is excellent since the trains are shorter and the drop and elements are better in every car rather than the very front or very back like Behemoth. The front of Leviathan is almost as good as the back of Behemoth IMO because of how it feels to sit there for the speed hill with laterals that precedes the 1st camelback. Thanks for posting this great review!
You're welcome. I've found people head to both Leviathan and Yukon Striker at rope drop in my visits (including a recent one). I really like the layout on Behemoth.
During an employee event, I rode behemoth 6 times in a row in the front seat. Not only was there ACTUALLY airtime, I started to feel "wrong" at the end and needed to ride the antique carousel to "slow my spinning stomach"

I ride behemoth very often and there were a few things in this video that I disagree with. Second, this may be due to my lack of credits, but behemoth has a rattle but it really does not inhibit the experience at all for me, and actually feels really smooth. Not as smooth as Leviathan, but still better than most other rides. I personally find it to be the best in the park and is far superior to the other hyper I've ridden (Nitro).
I think behemoth is fun but I don't know if I'm gonna be able to do it cause I don't know why but I always seem to chicken out everytime I try to go on big roller coasters

Canobie coaster you're probably not gonna like what I'm about to say but I think it's good that they made flight deck a vekoma slc cause from what I heard flight deck was gonna be a b&m invert and go where Behemoth currently is but if they did that then there wouldn't have been enough room to put behemoth and lots of people enjoy Behemoth so it's kind of good that they made flight deck a vekoma slc
Two types of roller coaster roughness are the rattle or rattling and the shuffle or shuffling. What are the differences between rattling and shuffling? What do you think?
In your video of top 100 roller coasters in the world in 2021, Goliath at La Ronde was in number 80 and Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland was in number 79. But in your video of top 100 roller coasters in the world in 2022, Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland was in number 98 and Goliath at La Ronde in number 53. So if I ask you, why?
I rerode both in 2022. Goliath moved up since every hill had great floater airtime and it was smooth. Behemoth moved down since the valleys had a noticeable rattle.
So lemme get this straight, Canada's Wonderland named their 2 best coasters after Biblical monsters, and yet put one in a Medieval area and the other in a generic thrill zone. 🙃
Put here the history Behemoth, the B&M hyper coaster at Canada's Wonderland. Cedar Fair purchased Paramount's Canada's Wonderland in 2006, renaming it to just Canada's Wonderland. Canada's Wonderland was a large theme park with many rides, but it had a not so liked, positive and received lineup that needed to be saved and improved, which one? A) The kiddie rides B) The flat rides C) The roller coasters
Canada's Wonderland had many rides, but it had a not so liked and positive roller coaster lineup that needed to be upgraded. A) Dragon Fyre, the park's Arrow looping coaster, was considered to be the park's best ride B) Vortex, the park's Arrow suspended coaster, was considered to be the park's best ride C) Wilde Beast, one of the park's wooden coasters, was considered to be the park's best ride
If I ask you about the staggered seating trains, there are four B&M hyper coasters with them: Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland, Diamondback at Kings Island, Intimidator at Carowinds, and Shambhala at PortAventura. Canobie Coaster would say: Yes, those four. If I ask you: So how would you think between Behemoth and Shambhala, to ride, and how do you think between the two in terms of smoothness or roughness? What would you say, Canobie Coaster?
Vortex was considered to be their best ride. That was because what happened to the park's other coasters? Dragon Fyre SkyRider Mighty Canadian Minebuster Wilde Beast Bat Flight Deck Time Warp
Of the roller coasters you've ridden in the world with rattling, what's the one that rattled you the most, the one with the most noticeable rattling you've ever got?
Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland Goliath at La Ronde Superman Krypton Coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas How many other roller coasters in the Six Flags chain, in the Cedar Fair chain, and/or from other properties, opened as vast improvements and/or upgrades to their park's previously not well received coaster lineup? What do you think? Examples:
So B&M helped to improve the Canada's Wonderland coaster lineup with building a hyper coaster. The B&M hyper coaster would be named Behemoth. Behemoth opened at Canada's Wonderland in... A) 2006 B) 2007 C) 2008 D) 2009
Four B&M hyper coasters have a B&M long staggered seating train, with two seats with riders right next to each other and edge outer seats with one rider in each seat, a V. Put here the four B&M hyper coasters with the staggered seating train:

Better airtime, better pacing, better views, and...
How do you compare the two B&M airtime based hyper coasters in smoothness?
Shambhala doesn't have any rattle like Behemoth.
You know it seems like behemoth looks scary when you look at it in action zone but its really not it does look fun and it seems like a nice warm up to Leviathan and yukon
All 3 are fun.
2:22 Not in 2021. Double stacking defined Leviathan and Behemoth.
Yikes! Leviathan had a good crew in 2022 for me.
@@CanobieCoaster 2021 was a horrible year for the park compared to normally but hey at least it opened
The first drop was your favorite drop on a B&M coaster?
Excluding the gigas, it is.
What do you think about all roller coasters at Canada's Wonderland?
I talk about them in my countdown and park review.
Do you like all of Behemoth, the airtime, the rattle, etc.?
I love the airtime.
I'm glad they got Behemoth, but I imagine they could have found a way to cram a ride this narrow if they wanted to.
I rode Behemoth in 2019 and honestly I don't remember any rattle, but tbh my memory isn't the best.
I think it had a shimmy back then when I rode it too.
I actually like the rattle. It gives the coaster more character.
I prefer smooth rides, but to each their own.
Two types of roller coaster roughness are the rattle or rattling and the shuffle or shuffling. What are the differences between rattling and shuffling? What do you think?
Shuffling is mostly a side-to-side roughness.
Of Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland, do you like all, or do you like all minus...?
I wish some valleys didn't have a rattle.
Was this the best coaster you've ridden at Canada's Wonderland? Was Wilde Beast the worst you've ever been on?
Leviathan is the best there.
The three hills on the way back would be awesome but the trims kill it.
I got good air.
@@CanobieCoaster It just depends for me in the days when its running fast or not
Sweet
Thanks!
Was the first drop on Behemoth the best drop for you in the world?
No
In your video of top 100 roller coasters in the world in 2021, Goliath at La Ronde was in number 80 and Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland was in number 79.
GhostRider at Knott's Berry Farm, which opening do you refer, the original or the refurbished?
I only rode it post refurb.
This was my first B&M, I don’t know how GP me rode this thing
A great one.
@@CanobieCoaster it is still one of my favorites, I do prefer Mako and Shambhala
I might be off but why dose behemoth look like nitro
It sort of does.
Having a helix to get back to ground level after an MCBR just seems dumb
It is odd. I'd prefer a drop.
whats the best wii game
Not exactly the best video to be asking that question.
But Galaxy 2
Smash Bros
My personal favorite is Super Mario Galaxy, which is my second favorite game of all time
@@athenaclark2567 Tis one of the greats, but I think the sequel's even better!
@@lucasmcdonald6847 Both games are really great!
I Find This Coaster To Be A Middle Tier Hyper And The Only B&M Hyper I Wouldn't Consider Top Or Bottom Tier
To each their own.
I think Behemoth is better than Leviathan and Yukon Striker because it has superior ending than compare the two b&m coasters at the park.
I agree Behemoth has the best ending of the 3.
Only Shambala is a better hyper IMO
Shambhala is my favorite B&M hyper.
I’m waiting for him to say “number 15,, Burger King foot lettuce”
Never
Behemoth is a front row ride I'll die on this hill. or. camelback I guess.
I see what you did.
So lemme get this straight, Canada's Wonderland named their 2 best coasters after Biblical monsters, and yet put one in a Medieval area and the other in a generic thrill zone. 🙃
Yes
(sigh), Way to Six Fl- oh sorry, force of habit. Way to go Cedar Fair!
@@lucasmcdonald6847same difference now lol
Put here the history Behemoth, the B&M hyper coaster at Canada's Wonderland.
Cedar Fair purchased Paramount's Canada's Wonderland in 2006, renaming it to just Canada's Wonderland.
Canada's Wonderland was a large theme park with many rides, but it had a not so liked, positive and received lineup that needed to be saved and improved, which one?
A) The kiddie rides
B) The flat rides
C) The roller coasters
C
What ars the differences between the vibration and the rattle?
Interchangeable
Canada's Wonderland had many rides, but it had a not so liked and positive roller coaster lineup that needed to be upgraded.
A) Dragon Fyre, the park's Arrow looping coaster, was considered to be the park's best ride
B) Vortex, the park's Arrow suspended coaster, was considered to be the park's best ride
C) Wilde Beast, one of the park's wooden coasters, was considered to be the park's best ride
B
I would like to know types of roughness in a coaster ride, and also video about that
You can try making a video.
Shambhala is glass smooth. Behemoth rattles at points.
Vortex was considered to be their best ride. That was because what happened to the park's other coasters?
Dragon Fyre
SkyRider
Mighty Canadian Minebuster
Wilde Beast
Bat
Flight Deck
Time Warp
Many find their other rides rough.
What do you think about the first drop on Behemoth? Does it have airtime?
Great drop, plenty of airtime.
Of the roller coasters you've ridden in the world with rattling, what's the one that rattled you the most, the one with the most noticeable rattling you've ever got?
Coaster Express is the roughest ride I've ridden.
Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland
Goliath at La Ronde
Superman Krypton Coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas
How many other roller coasters in the Six Flags chain, in the Cedar Fair chain, and/or from other properties, opened as vast improvements and/or upgrades to their park's previously not well received coaster lineup? What do you think? Examples:
Superman at Six Flags New England and GhostRider at Knott’s are two more examples.
So, ride Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland. What do you think about the smoothness or the roughness of Behemoth?
It's mostly smooth. A few valleys have a vibration.
I think many enthusiasts love Behemoth because of the airtime and the staggered seating trains
The airtime is great.
Imagine going to ride again Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland and Shambhala at Port Aventura. What would you think about the two?
Really like both rides, but I prefer Shambhala
So B&M helped to improve the Canada's Wonderland coaster lineup with building a hyper coaster. The B&M hyper coaster would be named Behemoth. Behemoth opened at Canada's Wonderland in...
A) 2006
B) 2007
C) 2008
D) 2009
C
Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland
Lost Gravity at Walibi Holland
How many other roller coasters did you find shaky enough to cause a headache?
It can be for a variety of things- rattle, headbanging, or lack of sleep so no one answer.
Bumpy, what means?
What's the bumpiest coaster you've ever ridden in the world?
Coaster Express
To ride, what do you think about Behemoth at Canada's Wonderland?
Like it.
Four B&M hyper coasters have a B&M long staggered seating train, with two seats with riders right next to each other and edge outer seats with one rider in each seat, a V. Put here the four B&M hyper coasters with the staggered seating train:
Shambhala, Behemoth, Intimidator, Diamondback
Disturbing lack of quality, what means?
Poor options
Put here the meaning of those types of roughness:
Jackhammering
Shimmying:
Shuffling:
Rattling:
Vibration:
I've defined those in other comments.
The coaster with the most rattle you've ever ridden in the world was...
Coaster Express. That ride offers all types of roughness in one trashy package.
