It's not under-rated at all. Wonderland has the highest seasonal attendance of any Cedar Fair park. Impressive considering it's in Canada and doesn't have year round operations.
It's my home park too. I pretty much agree with the list in this video. I can never decide between Leviathan or Behemoth as my favourite. Just went the other day, in fact, and rode most of those! Got on the Yukon Striker twice in a row near closing! Wheee!
We were back car on Vortex the other day! Yeah, what a difference! We had a front and a back on Yukon Striker. It was a windy day so the front seat was intense on the eyes. Had to keep shutting them.
I love behemoth backseat because you get pulled over every hill at high speeds before going back down, and I've tried to convince my friends to ride back seat with me but they don't want to.
You know some people think the tight turns on the fly are pretty scary but I think it's fun it feels just like the classic spinny rides from amusement parks and it's also a great coaster to help you prepare for the looping coasters
Hello! Canadian here. I have a few bits of info to add 1. Even according to the app, it is The Fly, not just Fly. Same for The Bat 2. I talked to an employee and they said that the special effects for Backlot Stunt Coaster were removed, not just broken 3. When you are used to the other coasters here, Behemoth feels much smoother!
I found most the rides to be fairly smooth, though in hindsight this was possibly influenced by my first ride of the day being Wilde Beast on the back row and it was all relative. Flight Deck was especially fine but also ridden at the front and in the wake of a storm where the soaked track made it zip along with no issue.
@@CanobieCoaster They fixed it up a couple years back with new restraints and that helped a lot. But its still a vecoma Slc coaster so not much to see. I still like it since the line is always short and the theming is cool.
I’m lucky that I get to live not too far away from this amazing park. Just went to it like 3 days ago for the first time in 3 years, and it was amazing. Tried Yukon Striker and Leviathan for the first time and they’re my top 2 rollercoasters (haven’t tried Behemoth but will definitely try it next time I go).
In the future I will definitely start getting some more parks under my belt to make my rankings and to see how good and diverse this park is compared to others.
Behemoth is like Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia so if you ever ride that then you pretty much rode Behemoth. Behemoth is a little taller though but I didn’t notice that till I looked it up

This was the ride that started my love for roller coasters and parks, and of course the Intamin Looping Starship flat ride. 2. This is a tie because I cannot decide which one I like more. Dragon Fyre and Skyrider (the stand-up coaster that operated from 1985-2014). 3. Flight Deck. I know it is not the smoothest roller coaster, however, when it opened in 1995 I was in awe of it. It also looked great with its shiny silver track. 4. Shockwave. For the B&M's I would say 1. Yukon Striker because of the first drop and also I enjoy going upside down. 2. Leviathan for the speed, over bank turns, and the height. 3. Behemoth for the height and the hills.
My childhood park! Great list👏 So great to hear your in-depth reviews about a park I have enjoyed for many years. Thunder-Run was always my favourite as a child. I haven't been since 2016. I prefer Behemoth over Leviathan, just based on the length of the coaster. Hope you enjoyed the Canadian hospitality ❤️
The drop tower would be great if they counted down from 10 and dropped you at 5 or so while changing the number they drop at each time to scare people.
when i visited the park a few weeks ago, that’s exactly what they did! i went on it twice that day, the first time i was dropped at 8, and the second i was dropped at 6. it was great, i was not expecting it the first time and it scared me so much haha

Glad you gave an honorable mention to Shockwave. I felt exactly the same way for KI's King Cobra back in the day. That camelback into the helix used to give some INSANE flajector back in the day...I remember getting ejected out of my seat and floating until I was a good halfway through the helix. Yes it was rough, but that thing was FUN

I was just at the park yesterday, i rode Sledge hammer, Timberwolf falls, White water canyon, Sky hawk, ghoster coaster, thunder run, windseeker, Spinovator, minebuster, and dragon fyre (that's 10 rides in 1 day!). Next time I visit i'll be checking out Halloween Haunt and try to get some awesome night rides on the coasters i missed including some of the B&Ms among other flat rides. #RideOn #CanadasWonderland
Yukon is my favorite dive out of the two I’ve ridden. Behemoth is my only B&M hyper. It was shaky but good. Leviathan is my favorite B&M and my 3rd favorite roller coaster ever. Also, I actually like Flight Deck a little. It is unbearably rough, but I love the drop and double inline twist.
Great list, I feel like I can’t compare it to my list as I made that list when Wonderland was still the only park I’d ever been to, it’s going to be fun going back to my Home Park after getting a bunch of other parks under my belt, I feel like so many of my opinions have changed since last year, sky hawk is a great example as I’ve only ever flipped once on it but now I’m insane with sky rollers and have had those rides that you can’t even walk after. Also as a side note I wanted to say thank you for your reviews, if it wasn’t for them I would never even heard of parks like Fantasiana or Belantis and these were some of my favourite parks on my trip so thank you very much!
I visited this park in 2017, and I had a blast! I haven’t ridden Yukon Striker, so my top three at this park is definitely Leviathan, Behemoth, and Vortex for me. Leviathan ranks #9 on my coaster rankings out of 140
You know I think windseeker is a good ride to go on to help me be ready for the b&ms cause I definitely think it's an awesome ride to help you feel comfortable with heights

Wonder Mountain Guardian I didn't ride some of the flats you mentioned, and I couldn't get Skyhawk to flip if my life depended on it. The waterpark was closed on my visit.

Both of them if ridding in the back can give some decent ejector. Especially the last drop on stunt coaster. It blew me away the first time i rid it. @@CanobieCoaster Thanks for such an informative video - being able to do a top 25 rides is insane, think we'll struggle to do that many! Does the park get busy in the holiday season? Typically how long are waiting times for the best rides?
Slowly becoming convinced to re-ride Wilde Beast and Minebuster. They really arent my favourites and I can't fit in Time Warp comfortably but as UA-cam gives me advice, I'm thinking this merits a revisit. Also, I agree that the hate towards the collection of family coasters isn't the best. I find Fly fun, and when I want to just feel wind in my face, Thunder Run actually works for that. Plus, that way kids get really used to roller coasters instead of doing something like a leap from Taxi Jam to Behemoth

I cant believe you said the bat and flight deck were too shakey but still put minebuster on here. I regret riding that thing every time. I always leave with a limp from some hip bone or knee tuat gets smashed over the extreamly bumpy ride. Flight deck I could do all day. And Thunder run is probably the best family coaster at the park imo.
Excuse me, no hate or anything but the bat and flight deck are some of the best rides In the park 😅 Just because they’re shaky doesn’t mean They’re bad
When Flight Deck, the Vekoma SLC, debuted in 1995 as Top Gun, all coasters the park had were smooth or rough? Wilde Beast Mighty Canadian Minebuster Dragon Fyre Bat SkyRider Vortex
How would you compare Flight Deck at Canada's Wonderland to, for example, Goliath at Six Flags Fiesta Texas? Both are compact inverted coasters. One is from B&M and one is from Vekoma. And both are clones. One opened in 1995 and the other was relocated in 2008. And both still have over-the-shoulder restraints.
Imagine a quote that says: Sledge Hammer. This one of a kind Huss flat ride looks incredible with the giant claws bouncing up and down, and it basically feels like a drop tower. You launch up into the air and then drop back down 3 times with the later actually giving some weak airtime and a stomach dropping sensation. It's a shame this ride has some _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ because I would have loved to see more of them. There are two missing words, which ones? Put here:
By the way if some of you people are afraid to go on the b&ms I suggest going on Yukon striker first cause Yukon striker has really good restraints that make you feel very secure and it's a very nice view when you're at the top
If you guys like hanging upside down and positive forces riptide is for you it's very fun and I like it that riptide has really good restraints to keep you in place during the ride
Like Carowinds, this parks top 3 is fantastic but then it drops fast. It is insane how many roller coasters are at this amusement park but only the 3 B&Ms really stand out, a modern launch like a Mack launch would go perfectly here, there are a lot of old or bad rides that are taking up space and could have something better there and I mean a lot, a Boomerang, a SLC, a old arrow looper that nobody talks about m, a Zamperla Volare, all these attractions.
By the way Hopefully they'll add a top spin ride at cedar point and one at either kings Dominion or kings island cause I like riptide it's a very good top spin ride
Honestly, mine buster has to be my favourite ride. But not many people go on this ride which makes the lines amazing! And at nighttime they make the ride faster! I usually go on it 3 times before I exit the park.
There is another ride coming in 2025, I don’t recall what it’s named but it is said to be the longest and fastest ride in Canada and stretches over half of the park
How would you compare Flight Deck at Canada's Wonderland to, for example, Batman the Ride at Six Flags Over Georgia? Both are compact inverted coasters. One is from B&M and one is from Vekoma. And both are clones. One opened in 1995 and one opened in 1997. And both still have over-the-shoulder restraints.
In your review video of Coaster Express at Parque Warner Madrid (world's worst roller coaster!), why did you say "Grizzly, Wilde Beast and Mighty Canadian Minebuster?", which Grizzly did you refer, and what do you think about Wilde Beast and Mighty Canadian Minebuster?
The California's Great America one since that Grizzly is often called the world's worst wood coaster. Wilde Beast and Minebuster are tolerable compared to Coaster Express.
Canobie coaster that weightless feeling that you get on roller coasters when you go down the drop that's exactly what it feels like on rides that have hangtime
You know soaring timbers is the only Mondial inferno I've ever been on and it's pretty awesome for a Mondial inferno too bad other cedar fair parks don't have this type of ride
You know some people are saying negative things about windseeker but I'm just gonna ignore their comments because I know I'm gonna enjoy it it looks really fun
In your video of Coaster Express at Parque Warner Madrid (world's worst roller coaster!) review, there was a list of wooden coasters considered by many as rough, that said: Hades 360? Amazing Predator and Zeus? Great Grizzly, Wilde Beast and Mighty Canadian Minebuster? Not good but smooth enough Bandit? Bumpy but ridable but I finally hit my limit with Coaster Express. What do you think about Wilde Beast and Mighty Canadian Minebuster, both at Canada's Wonderland? Why did you say that?
@@CanobieCoaster nice. i love yukon because of the drop and also its thrilling speeds. honestly, it would be wonderland's star attraction instead of leviathan if it didnt last .2 seconds lmao
If you people wanna know why soaring timbers doesn't actually go upside down like it did when it first opened its because some people get motion sickness and since soaring timbers doesn't stop for a moment like riptide they decided to not make it go upside down to keep people from getting nauseous

Sledge Hammer.
Put here:
I finish that sentence in this video.
I like nightmares its a great winterfest ride
Nice!
By the way if some of you people are afraid to go on the b&ms I suggest going on Yukon striker first cause Yukon striker has really good restraints that make you feel very secure and it's a very nice view when you're at the top
That's a fair point.
you know I must say shockwave is very intense that I might come off feeling a bit queasy lol 😂😂
It is intense.
If you guys like hanging upside down and positive forces riptide is for you it's very fun and I like it that riptide has really good restraints to keep you in place during the ride
Riptide is a fun one.
Vortex is good too and at least this park has a lot of great flats, but the coasters do drop off sharply.
What's your favorite row or seat on those coasters at the park:
Yukon Striker
Vortex
Flight Deck
Wilde Beast
By the way Hopefully they'll add a top spin ride at cedar point and one at either kings Dominion or kings island cause I like riptide it's a very good top spin ride
I don't see Cedar Fair adding more top spins, especially since they removed some from their parks.
2010:
In your first visit to Canada's Wonderland, did you like:
Skyrider
Wilde Beast
Bat
Not Bat.
Riptide is a good flat ride to go on so that you can go on the looping coasters
Riptide has some fun hangtime.
Honestly, mine buster has to be my favourite ride. But not many people go on this ride which makes the lines amazing! And at nighttime they make the ride faster! I usually go on it 3 times before I exit the park.
Minebuster can be fun, but I prefer the big steel coasters.
@@CanobieCoaster it’s amazing when it’s nighttime though and the lines are great, plus, if your 8n the back it’s more fun.
@@UltimateDetective- It's a great coaster just wish they renamed it the Government of Canada
There is another ride coming in 2025, I don’t recall what it’s named but it is said to be the longest and fastest ride in Canada and stretches over half of the park
@@miamaxpreppy it’s called alphen fury I think
AlpenFury, it looks amazing.
Batman is far better.
thanks
You're welcome!
My favourite list 1.upon striker2.behemoth 3.laviathin
Same top 3, just in a different order.
Wilde knight mares turned into a SKYWHEEL
What do you mean?
In your review video of Coaster Express at Parque Warner Madrid (world's worst roller coaster!), why did you say "Grizzly, Wilde Beast and Mighty Canadian Minebuster?", which Grizzly did you refer, and what do you think about Wilde Beast and Mighty Canadian Minebuster?
The California's Great America one since that Grizzly is often called the world's worst wood coaster. Wilde Beast and Minebuster are tolerable compared to Coaster Express.
Did you like all Mack Wild Maus coasters? I'm referring to Fly at Canada's Wonderland and Coast Rider at Knott's Berry Farm
Not all of them.
Canobie coaster that weightless feeling that you get on roller coasters when you go down the drop that's exactly what it feels like on rides that have hangtime
I consider airtime and hangtime different.
You know soaring timbers is the only Mondial inferno I've ever been on and it's pretty awesome for a Mondial inferno too bad other cedar fair parks don't have this type of ride
I wish it had a more intense program.
You know some people are saying negative things about windseeker but I'm just gonna ignore their comments because I know I'm gonna enjoy it it looks really fun
I like the view.
soaring timbers is very fun the airtime that you get on it is insane
I haven't gotten airtime on that one.
I saw videos and POVs videos of SLCs in Europe, since I know two in Spain, one that runs the vest trains and one that runs the traditional trains
The vest trains are far superior.
In your video of Coaster Express at Parque Warner Madrid (world's worst roller coaster!) review, there was a list of wooden coasters considered by many as rough, that said:
Hades 360? Amazing
Predator and Zeus? Great
Grizzly, Wilde Beast and Mighty Canadian Minebuster? Not good but smooth enough
Bandit? Bumpy but ridable
but I finally hit my limit with Coaster Express.
What do you think about Wilde Beast and Mighty Canadian Minebuster, both at Canada's Wonderland? Why did you say that?
Those two are fine.
i agree with everything except the top 3. 3. Behemoth 2. leviathan 1. Yukon Striker
I agree those are the 3 best rides even if we have a different order.
@@CanobieCoaster nice. i love yukon because of the drop and also its thrilling speeds. honestly, it would be wonderland's star attraction instead of leviathan if it didnt last .2 seconds lmao
Would you like to ride Flight Deck at Canada's Wonderland again?
I like the traditional SLC trains since I rode one in Spain
Not with the current trains.
By the way my other favorite thing about minebuster is when you're on it you get splashed by one of the waterslides at splashworks
Haven't had that personally happen to me.
3:13 “this fits very well within the Canadian part of the park”
*canadas wonderland*
*in canada*
True, but they do have a Canadian section.
Yeah I know I just thought it was funny
They shoulda put the spinebuster in that sector it’s literal called the great *canadian* minebuster
If Bat and Flight Deck have trains with vests, where would you rank them?
They probably would make this list.
Imo the fly is way better than soaring timbers lol
I get the argument. I prefer Timbers though.
@@CanobieCoaster Is it because fly kinda squishes you?
If you people wanna know why soaring timbers doesn't actually go upside down like it did when it first opened its because some people get motion sickness and since soaring timbers doesn't stop for a moment like riptide they decided to not make it go upside down to keep people from getting nauseous
That's surprising since rides like Shockwave still invert.
I think giga coasters are pretty cool they simulate being on an airplane
They feel quite a bit different, but I love gigas.
At Canada's Wonderland, what do you think about those two coasters, Mighty Canadian Minebuster and Flight Deck, both tolerable?
Not Flight Deck
I've been here 58 times and I can't to a poppy loop
Poppy loop?
My favorite vortex and drop tower
Two fun ones.
Mate flight deck is sick, it’s kinda uncomfortable but that’s probably because of the amount of inversions messing you up
I've ridden rides that flip more that are far more comfortable.
I think the bat is pretty fun as long as you don't ride it more than once it's good to take a break after you go on an intense looping coaster
It is intense.
What do you think about Drop Tower at Canada's Wonderland, Carowinds, and California's Great America?
All are good.
