A little late but I followed every step and it worked perfect except that after awhile the firestick got really hot where I smelled burnt. My Firestick is brand new by the way My PC is a high end PC My Monitor is high End as well I don't know what went wrong
So what are you need to know is flat screen TVs insignia 32in firestick TV.. how do I output both the video and audio that I see on my screen to a DVD recorder or CDR recorder video is very important to record how do I do that thank you what I'm using is a standalone DVD recorder buy Samsung with both hdmi-in and RCA input and output three channels
Will the Elgato Device work in recording streaming HDTV programs? That's what I want to do. Too, is there any way, possible, to record an HDTV streaming program to an older DVD recorder WITHOUT an HDMI connection? Will you please tell me how to record a streaming program, if this will not record this? THANK YOU!!!
Is there any way to do this same thing but for my smart tv instead of the firestick? I have everything connected the same way but the tv screen does not show on obs. It works perfectly fine when I use it the exact same way for my ps5 but for some reason nothing works for this
The 4K HDMI video capture card you link to above is out of stock. Is there another you might recommend? Are those that look like the one linked to the same, or do they not work as well?
Wisdom is SUPREME...👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Too, can I use this device on my Amazon Fire TV, to record streaming programs?
What are the video settings? Can you record in film video format at 23,976 fps or are the fireTV's streaming fps different?
I’m not too sure about the FPS, but I’ll look into it and if I find something I will comment back.
Can I plug the video capture device on the TV ?

Although a lot of people say good things about Elgato, I would just use the one you have shown. I would think that it is all I really need.
Will this work if I hook it up to the tv instead of the computer

If you are just using it to record off of TV/Cable, go to settings, then under Audio, disable everything....Apply and OK
