Truck looks great! Would argue that front and rear lockers, refreshed interior, heads up display, cooled seats, multimatic DSSV shocks, 6.2L motor, and more still separate the ZR2. Maybe not in the exterior looks department, but ride quality and capabilities of the ZR2 are in a different league. Also, I think it would be almost impossible to find a Trail Boss today for the price you paid.
7 months later lmao. But I just bought a USED trailboss. A 21 with 10k miles , so I call it new lmao. But anyway, for 47k. That used lol. They are 62k brand new. & I could have bought the new one... lol but it's essentially the same truck. For 15k less & the only thing it's really missing was the new screen on the inside that runs across.

Now that you have gone over all the mods to date, what is 1 that you would do differently or that you still want to do (minus the headers). Would you have done a 6" lift, different cold air, add tow mirrors, anything at all. Love all your videos and can't wait until I get that notification that a new video is out.

First of all your vids are freaking awesome!! I just got a 2024 1500 high country debated on getting a trail boss but ultimately decided to go with the high country. I love it! I want to mod it but there isn’t much to do right now lol any tips would be great! Keep up with the awesome content!
Thanks for watching! Vinyl is always a fun place to start. Low cost and if you don’t like it, peel it off. Those High Country’s are sweet 🤙🏽 lots of chrome which could be a good place to start 😎

wanted to reach out and ask about the OG Silverado, I have the exact same truck, except I have 4wd with a few different stock parts, but I leveled out the truck, but now I am looking into spacers or a drop bracket for the Dif. wanted to see if you have any thoughts on what would be good. due to my CV's needing to be replaced.

Have you had any experience with the cylinder deactivation? On the 17 Silverado yours or a friend’s. Or am I just looking for a problem that might not be there? 25,000 miles. I have put the transmission retrofit in it. No noise’s no problems. There’s a oil catch can in there also. 2017 crew cab LTZ
So I have a question when you come to a stop at a red light or stop sign does it seem like the truck is trying to engine brake? By staying in gear it keeps racking the pipes or is it just mine?

Does the awe sound louder or quieter than the afe just wondering because I put the AFE on my Silverado but I have been thinking about upgrading to awe but I don’t want to lose how loud it is.

Is there a way to reprogram some of the stupid factory settings such as not allowing fog lights and high beams to be on simultaneously? Or that you can’t dim dash lights until the truck decides it’s dark enough outside? Or that it shuts off after a period of time even if the keys are in the vehicle..

I'd love to go buy a TRX but there's no way I can justify an aspect of ownership. I love my Rebel and will do light mods and be happy. Even if it is 300 some HP less than a TRX.

Dang, that's a lot of money. And it looks like you really enjoy doing what you do that's what counts.
So I decided to add up my expenses after watching your video.
I'm at just above $8, 000.00, now this doesn't include motor oil, fuel additives, waxes, microfiber towels and bonnets and I'm sure dozens of little things here and there that add up overtime. I do have detailed log sheets that have a running total for all parts and supplies and and one for maintenance and paid work completed Plus one for fuel and I'm close to $10,000 on gas and my truck is only 3 years old.
Hey it's just money, and I love doing stuff to my truck just like you. Most of the mods on your channel are a bit more complicated then the ones that I do on my channel.
I wonder how much it cost for all my camera gear and equipment, I'm sure it's probably about $4,000 00.
Yes so now you can't get mad when your wife has extra Amazon packages delivered. Looks like both of us will be keeping our trucks for a very long time we can never make back the money that we spent on it. Plus the fact that we bought ours at the perfect time, before sales tax and all the other charges that they charge you I got mine for just under $35,000 with the step bars that cost $1,000.
Anyway I love your channel hope you end up getting the garage built on your property I know it's going to cost a lot more than you anticipated so that sucks.

What did you do with the AFE pipe?
I'm literally going to bank to transfer a good chunk of change on a 2020 trail boss 5.3 and the truck only has just under 7k miles 🙃.. For $3k more I can buy (private sale) his warranty of 100k miles or 2031. What should I do? Any advice will be well appreciated 🙏
You should plastidip the keyless buttons on the doors. I did it on mine and it looks great
Wish I'd of gone with Silverado instead of Sierra now. Wheel fitment is so much better. Still tiny wheel wells on the new Sierra.

I have a question. I have followed your channel and done all the mods you have to my trail boss. I do have an issue and this is my headlights. How do I modify them? I keep getting high beamed and cussed at for blinding people. How can I adjust them since the leveling kit raised it out of the norm. I couldn’t find a video of you doing this.

So you didn’t have to do anything to resolve the catch can hissing? It just stopped over time? Did you get your fuel mileage back or just chalking it up to being in your head? lol considering buying one but was turned away after seeing your trouble. Def don’t wanna add one at the expense of a vacuum leak.
100% mileage issue was in my head. Hissing went away on its own after a few thousand miles 🤙🏽

i got the 2022 z71 lt 4x4 trail boss made the dealership add in 5600$ in mods on their cost 3rd truck thru the same dealership the did a 2" front lift window visors chevy gator back muddlaps toyo mt tires 20x34.3x11.2 and a stainless magnaflow muffler swap your rubbing off on my my wife hates it hahaha thank you lol
