Gotta love how Hesiodos starts with moral explanation why one should work and how it is tied to mythology, and you can take the mythological parts either as allegorical why bad things would fall onto you or actual believe. Then he starts to explain his agricultural plan for his son's farm, adds little life story when talking about sailing and moves to astrology with no explanation how that would work.
Loved that little laugh when Hesiodos was talking about wifes. Noticed the cut.

Mythology is not allegorical, and stop trying to act like you're a teacher when you haven't a clue.If we want to be technical and litreal, mythology is theology or at least a part of it

Thank you for this! I can understand the texts better by listening you read in proper english than people reading in my own language.

Based Sargon accepts Apollo into his life, praise the immortal gods who are forever.
Holy damn I got at least 12 ads, if not more, guess they haven't entirely demonetized you.

A lot of similarities to Christianity in the first 20 mins, especially the innumerable spirits that enable the Gods to know and punish human wrongdoers.

Since y’all were talking about things you wish they’d done a bit differently or at least spent more time to flesh out, I thought of something too.
Don’t get me wrong, this episode was fantastic! But when Nolan was getting on Mark about how the Viltramites are going to kill him, Mark, Mark’s brother, and all the Thraxans, I wish he’d ended it with something like “And then they’ll go to Earth.”
I feel like that would have really added even more to Mark stepping it up in that fight.

This is archaic Greek poetry and has nothing to do with Pliny's encyclopedia.
