Its lower front plate(and lower half of the ufp) is 30mm though....And the drivers hatch is just 50mm

True. I remember they showed it on live by Oxy I think. Later Phly commented himself seeing this tank that armor is shit and never looked even at statistics. Now he did the same..
He even hovered the 35 mm plate behind the 15 mm one in the front but didn’t notice
It threw me off the first time I previewed it, only the sliver of red gave away the second plate. Been running it with my buddy and it works surprisingly well; getting almost 7+ kills per game

Phly, please just try the 75/46 m43, I think it will surprise you just as much as the 90mm 8 meatball launcher, it's just at a bit of a higher br. The hidden spaced armor is incredibly effective, just take it out once and consider recording what happens in case you're surprised

For those wondering why its so wide is because this chassis was also planned to be used for a 35ton tank with 100mm of armor and a 90/53 (the italian 88 from the somvente 90/53). Its called the p43 Bis

Setting: a Custom Realistic Battle or Sim Battle for you against some other UA-camrs/community. (Sim would seem better than Realistic in this case via limiting view like in an actual tank and making it like the historical battle situation, but pick what you prefer)
You (or whoever is the KV-1) have a few minutes at the start to position wherever you want on one of the large forested maps, and then 16 others begin a search how they want.

The challenge is Use HE tank like Strumpanzer, Ho-ro, etc and stays behind the frontline and shoot the cap point as artillery do, due to slow shell velocity you can avoid some tree and houses (for an instant, Snipe the enemy cap point with HE tank and stay behind frontline as artillery do),I already do that but not easy as I imagine ,Good luck for you Phly
For anyone wondering about the ammo those 2 big boxes down low have 52 shells (the 2 slightly longer looking rows have 11 instead of the 10 of the other 3) and then each group in the turret is 9 rounds so 52x2 = 104 + 9x2 = 122

The reason some tank round just don't explode is because of their round fuze sensitivity. For example, BT-7(F-32)(?) have really bad fuze that even in the R3 can survive the round even tho it got penned by the round.

Hey Phly you should check out the comet/challenger with the apds round. Those things at 5.3 are incredible and UFPing a Panther at 1000m is the most satisfying thing ever (also can pen tiger 2 ufp at point blank but didnt have the occasion to do so)

Everyone talks about the gun and armor, but what about the incredible levels of handling during drifts this thing gets due to its wide track placement? This thing turns during high speeds like a bloody Maserati, you can straight up drive circles around people and side-shot them to death.
You should take out the ki-109 "dragon", for the emperor! It has been lowered to 2.3
The Celere has a double plate in the front, it's about 50mm thick, angled it's 100mm, so it's a good frontal armor.
