The KV-1S was always my favourite of the KVs, until I got KV-85, which is technically also a KV-1S, just with a new turret. Really underrated heavies in the Soviet tree. Everyone focuses on KV-1E, KV-2 and KV-1 (ZiS-5), which is fair enough, but the KV-1S is just as good in its own way. It's nice to see some love for it from a major WT youtuber.

Use the zis-5 variant, it’s so much more fun with its 100mm of armor
people sleep on the zis-5 hard, you push in go triangle mode and use the gun like grandads shotty. So fun.
You also get bumped up into 76/HV75/88 etc territory which easily gets through you.
