Coffee Table Railroad - (Part 7)

I purchased regular 12V white LEDs, wired them into groups of 2 and 3, cut a black plastic straw into segments, each one fit snugly over an LED to act as light shade and housing. So I added 12 of them to the layout in strategic spots. The road got re-paved with new RR markings, and directional arrows in the station parking lot. A second BNSF diesel locomotive (#2080) was added to match the first one (#2081).

The trains run and run for hours. I let them run and go do what I have to do (laundry, clean up the garage, take a shower) and when I come back they are still running. I do operate them every day, usually for an hour or more, instead of watching TV!

Thanks. I will. Apparently, I can't help but make improvements. There's also the long wait for ordered items. Right now, I'm waiting for a Woodland Scenics house to arrive. (!)
