Great truck. Those older trucks 2000-2006 are rated as the best years and most reliable and dependable to own in Chevs/GMC’s years. The new stuff cant say that.
@@ethanjarrett7099 a lot of people do that you’ll probably have to trim the front bumper and back of wheel well a little as long as it’s on stock wheels with positive offset
My 2001 Silverado Z71 is still running great. 227K. Minor maintenance to this point. One of the best trucks ever produced. If they just made them the same without all the extra add-on as of today, I would gladly buy another. All the newer trucks regardless of manufacturer, NOPE.

Finally had bed fixed from the rust over the rear wheels-said i wouldnt but got sick of looking at it. Also painted rims and any chrome with black plastidip. Had rims painted but wanna clean them up again this year. Prices are crazy sick now for trucks so i put a little cash back into mine. Everyone where i live puts the fender flares on and i didnt want to do that. Met a guy and he fixed it better then what i was going to do! Thanks again and have a good night
I love having all of the original badging on a truck or car, especially the dealer sticker. It is sort of a reminder and historical mark as to where it came from. My 66 Rambler still has a dealer sticker. AMC has been gone since around '84. Even then so, it's from 18 years prior. Even if these beautiful trucks aren't classics yet, it's still nice to have a clue of its history. But got to hand it to you, it looks lovely without it as well.
I'm glad you love that exhaust because man it sounds like a high-school kid that cut off the mufflers. Lol to each there own. Flowmaster 40 series might not be as loud but man it would be a better sound.
I have a 04 gmc 2500hd slt and I love the looked of the stock 16in wheels that came on it i have 35 bf good rich all terrains but i would like some nitto trail grapps or yokohama mts them look so good to me
I just did my 06 GMC fog light housings since original were looking bad. They were pain in the ass. If you do them you can remove headlights and access screws from topside.
I’ve got a 05 Sierra with some 20x12’s with -56 offset on 33’s and a 2 1/2 inch level from rough country that looks real good in my opinion. Had to do a little bit of trimming since I put the wheels on before the level. After the level it doesn’t rub and don’t think it requires trimming
My 05 Sierra 2500HD is Randy. Keep posting where you find parts for these classics. I found new SLE and SLT badges on Amazon, also some nice polished aluminum running boards with one piece non-skid traction inserts. Love my tailgate torsion bar assist, I can close the tailgate with one hand, nice not to have to empty both hands before I close it. I have extra weight because there's a ladder bolted to the inside of the tailgate, much easier to get in & out (I'm 77 so I don't jump out like the old days).
The truck is super clean man. You’re probably already thinking this but some clears and leds in the front and some after market taillights in the back would look killer
Bubba set up I think you should put 35 mud grapples leave the stock rims put a black tool box and whip just like Larry, put 5% tint and she’s already rocking but she will be talking
I wish you would do a 3 inch torsion key instal video because you do quality unlike the other videos out there. Also I like chomper but I think Nancy is the name for this truck lol
It would be easy to paint the door panels just lightly sanded them down and go to your local auto body supply shop and they should be able to give you vinyl paint in a spray can just tell them the paint code
Those looks like the same tag lights I got on My 05 Silverado just mine has like some red on the back side that lights up too. Also can’t believe the tailgate Basil isn’t broke.

Leave the chrome, just my opinion but I’d much rather have a classy looking truck than all black.
I have an 06 GMC sierra SLE summit white and love it the way it is stock of course with a view modifications lol
I’d like to see this truck with a leveling kit, stockers, and the biggest tire you can fit with some scrubbing.

Would definitely do new stock 20s would be so simple and clean specially the metallic grey ones
Maybe a newer set, like some Og LTZ wheels and 35s, or maybe some Escalade 22s and 33s or 35s
A 30% windshield tint would look absolutely tuff

Murphys Oil Soap on the decal area for a couple of minutes and it comes right off.

when i had my 06 i ran the rough country leveling kit with 20x12 -44mm wheels with 33x12.5 tires on it and the stance was killer.
Definitely murder it out! I had one just like this but it was a 03 and it was all blacked and it looked sweeeeet

I used Philips LEDs on my interior they work great! Very minor tweak for the fitment with a drill bit on the interior door marker assembly’s.

That's funny my 2005 1500 silverado also has Nancy S under the dash. Nice truck going to do some led upgrades like that too on my truck

LMC truck for door panels!
Add some silicone sealant around the tag light fittings. Had the same ones and they quit working as soon as they got water in them.
Waiting for the black 22x12’s to be put on it or the newer body wheels you got!
As good as these trucks look they cheaped out in so many places
Put some newer Denali stocks on grapps or xcomps or venom tires untill lifted

9005 hi beam bulbs will fit in those fog lights by the way. They also make a little switch for $20 for the 4hi/6hi mod
