I have carried a Boker Tech Tool all day everyday for about 3 or 4 years, and would say its most likely the best EDC knife you can get for the UK. It looks a bit like a swiss army knife, so doesn't scare pedestrians, but has a thicker blade and a pocket clip. I probably use it mostly as a screw driver or for opening paint cans, but working as a carpenter it often saves me having to go find a more specific tool when working. The only bad points I have found is that the folding keyring loop is quite pointy and the pocket clip can break after a while, but Boker replaced mine free twice, no hassle. Highly recommend
Have you tried the Whitby slip drop point. I got mine in zebra wood. Must say for £15 is a great EDC. What I did was put a scandi on it. Holds a good edge. For 420 stainless. 2.25 inch blade. They come in a range of scales but I like the wood.
I'd been trying to get one but Go Outdoors (the only stockist near me) was always sold out. I did get a nice Whitby lambs foot knife though that's UK legal.
@@rodster6campingprepper I ordered mine direct from Whitby. The next knife I’m looking at is a Deva Blade Skanda Friction Folder - Walnut it’s got a 2.75” blade. I bc love the blade shape and simple action. I was thinking about making one.
I have one of these, lives in my Barbour Jacket for cutting twine, string apple and lunch. It sanded down at the edges nicely.

I used one for about a year, was decent enough after being sharpened.
