Great info Timbo, nice one on ringing them up and getting the real answer, what a shame it all been spoiled by some freaks shows and the newspapers and then pressure from the home office. That's excellent news there doing a rebrand. (gonna share this for you mate, hopefully more people will see it)
Thanks, I wanted to know more after the stream on Friday! So I thought why not just ring them/ Had a good chat, too. Thanks for the share, I hope they`re back soon.
Old movies and TV shows censored, more restrictions on tools. Cameras pointed at us everywhere and this new facial recognition tech. We're slipping very quickly into an Orwellian dystopia.
I love anglo arms knives and like you I have quite a few in my collection without really meaning to ... also agree 100% that most knife crime is committed with kitchen knives .. I've also heard a few Drill tunes lately which have mentioned anglo arms knives and due to this there's a witch hunt for the brand at the moment.. which definitely will not help things.. I heard preppers shop stopped selling then now also ..thanks for the info though timbo and keeping us updated, I'm glad to hear it may not be the last we see of anglo arms hopefully they'll just do a company name change .. can't wait to see though , good luck anglo arms 👍
@@timbo66 the messed up thing is that these kids are using the brand name as a generic term for any knife so i doubt there even carrying anglo arms knives... messed up situation but yea we wish anglo arms all the best ,
@@cavanbond6359 I've know idea mate.. one of the lines I've heard goes something like "swinging my Anglo arms" if this helps... I'll ask my son and maybe do a vid on my channel of all the mentions so people can hear them 👍
Do u know what they changed to as I was told about all this in my local gizmos and gear shop that has stocked these for a while but only sells them to people like us that use for a goof purpose just picked up two of the cheaper knifes in there both by Anglo arms but he's reduced his stock to sell the last of it due to not getting anymore in because idiots going around using knifes in fights near me can't say I would use any of them in a fight as mine are all collection or camping knifes
I absolutely agree with the points you made in this video it’s a great shame that we have to restrict everything , I hope that this company does well in the future with its new rebrand as they are affordable and have some good quality stuff .
Just seen this shared by Mike on twitter. Very unfortunate to see yet more things being ruined by idiots but it's at least nice to see that they aren't just closing up shop and getting rid of what was ultimately some very good products. Also nice to know that their employees aren't gonna be out of work as a result either, wherever they are in the world.
I have that blue one, you have to flick your wrist and use the momentum as you use the flicker and it works. its not like a press flip if that makes any sense
I have an excellent Rob Bayley bushcraft clone made by Anglo Arms, for which I made a horizontal carry leather sheath,. That large Trecker knife is crying out for a mirror finish & coffin shaped walnut handle
It's like the knee jerk reaction to "Samurai" swords, the government banned all curved swords over 20" in length unless made traditionally i.e with carbon steel blades, it seems STRAIGHT swords are fine and not dangerous , but Samurai Swords are, just like a hideous lime green machete marked "Zombie Killer" is more dangerous than a normal machete
That's frustrating news, although good they're going to relaunch. I have a number of their blades. I've been trying to find a contact for them to speak to someone about a Bush Kutta Parang I was given as a gift several years ago for my bug out kit and snapped at it's handle the first time I put it through it's paces a few weeks ago. Is there any chance you could point me in the right direction please? I've drawn a blank trying to find them online
Apologies for the delay in answering. Their parent company is Sportingwholesale.com, 0345 124 2929, info@sportingwholesale.com. I phoned and pressed 1, their voicemail was full.
I always meant to pickup a trekker it had/has some good reviews, I had the Nomad which was a good knife but sold it on and a tanto that was pants. The only AA knife I have left is the Haku which is a good tool, its worth keeping your eyes on a couple of auction sites as I've seen both the nomad and haku recently going for a steal. Did you mention 75% of knife crime is committed with kitchen knives? I might have missed it 😉
Its currently the same in ireland, because of the UK restricting these like the Z tools it makes it really hard to get these anglo arms tools, tgey are absolutely amazing knives for the budget bushcrafter, such a shame :(
Still bits a pieces about nearly brought that beautiful stilletto you've got there the other day but went for the buckland velocity stiletto instead.Anglo arms have some great stuff tho Got loads of there gear knives machetes 2 of their Crossbows. Shame they've been the focus of the tabloids and UA-cam journalists. Our laws and outlook on knives is fucking ridiculous here in the UK. The article its self should be irrelevant its the violent act that is the issue. Great vid
Agreed, the innocent are punished for the acts of the guilty. Every time there`s legislation restricting gun or knife ownership, gun and knife crime goes up!
There aren`t any from what I`ve found. I decided to go on a spending spree after doing this video. I found one company who had one AA knife in stock so I bought it.
Surely this means the original anglo arms range with their name branding on the knifes are now only going to increase in value due to collectors and rarity?
I wondered about that mate... they may become a cult classic or something ... not that cults the right word to use while talking knives but you know what i mean lol
I like drill music but fuck the gang wars, I don't see the point in an endless turf war that goes no where and only takes lives who could've had a bright future, great knives though, like you said it's a shame that it's ruined by these people, I bought an Anglo arms tonight, the 7.5 inch paracord.
100% agree. I`m in my 50`s now. mate, saw the same thing with bikers like me, mods, skinheads, punks. Too many young people denied an old life for stupid reasons.
My neighbours son and his mate used to practice rapping in the garden ( the Dad was a big classical music fan!) without a backing track. I liked listening to it, made me think of street poets.
I do own knives so I’m not defending Asda here the difference is tho Asda isn’t focused on selling knives Anglo arms is and as fir 75% of knife crime being kitchen knives is probaly true how ever I’ve seen many young people with knives n it’s most of the time happens to be this brand
Looks like some really good cutlery my friend,
Thanks, just hope we can start buying them again!

I had plans to buy another Trecker to customise. Might be worth more as an original! i`ve got the bushcraft clone and it`s a nice knife.
My local 'knife shop' still has quite a few models. I might have to go clear it out.
I would! Guess they`ll be collectors items soon.
where is Anglo Arms based in where did they sell the products to?
They`re owned by Sporting Wholesale in Bedfordshire. I think they`re going to release a new range under another name.

Yep, take the word `zombie killer` off and it`s legal. Absolutely ridiculous. And you can still get a `Samurai` sword fairly cheaply and easily.

They`re cheap knives, some are great. I bought the Tanto, which wasn`t so good.
a brand ruined by the biased media and the shallowness of the public.
Makes me so angry, as I said, kitchen knives are 75% of knife crime. Stupid, knee jerk Daily Mail/Guardian `ban it` retards.

That is a good point., thought the fact is still true - 70% of knife crime is with kitchen knives. I`ll admit AA have sold some risky designs.
