You have no idea who I am, but I’ve been watching your videos for ages and we have a similar outlook on life and I find watching your videos make me feel less crazy as there is people out there who have the same outlook on life (as bleak as it is) haha!
All Of Us Are Dead was excellent, as are a lot of South Korean shows. It's only since Squid Game people are beginning to discover them maybe. They don't contain any of the gender politics and wokery you find in Western shows, which are generally awful these days.
Great video I agree with you about clubbing not the same at all use to go Norwich ever Saturday was a good night out but its not the same as you said to many people off there nut or drunk as use to love mercy shame it got close down 😩
There used to be so many great clubs and bars in Norwich. Down Riverside had loads and Lola Lo's at the other end of Prince of Wales. All shut down now. Seems like most that are still open only play droning R'n'B.
Andy Burnham's Manchester, get as much money as possible. I actually went for a day trip to Manchester myself for the first time while I was on holiday in the Peak district earlier this year. It has some great museums and I loved the tram system for easy travel round the city. I'd recommend it for a day trip, if you like museum's, galleries etc.
These lights are cool for home but I'm not a fan of artificial light while camping. I like to leave it all behind. But then again I don't even take a tent camping lol. Just a tarp and bag. If it's winter I build a shelter. Old school. You are so right about western TV and movies. Nothing of substance there at all
I live on the more semi rural outskirts of Manchester. Any further and I'd be in Yorkshire. It used to be great growing up, but they've closed a lot of clubs and everyone's packed into fewer places. I don't go to the city any more other than during the day for shopping maybe once a year. I was a bobby and I don't disagree with what you've said relating to that. In fact it'd be my biggest gripe. Maybe half a dozen immediate response cops dealing with real stuff in a huge "deprived" area, meanwhile you've got offices full of staff at HQ dealing with absolute BS and to criticise the response cops. All comes down to the fear of criticism. Thanks for keeping creating content over the years. I feel like I've followed you for about a decade at this point. All the best.
Great to see another vid Rod! I'd like to see a Q+A vid...fave movie, book, food etc. A lot of people like listening to yourself and your views, myself included.
Excellent video Sir, I wholeheartedly agree on everything you said, Especially the stuff we are all thinking but can't say 😉. Keep spreading the word 👍
I live on the east side of Manchester, just outside the M60 which is fine, Manchester is getting just like London in all sorts of ways, the crowds the high rise buildings ,traffic. For me I'm looking at getting out in 2 years and going somewhere quieter, hopefully the house prices will go up as well to help me pay for it! Enjoy your chatty video's, keep them coming.
Cracking video as always. In some of your previous videos you have mentioned about replacing your camp table with one leg . Have you tried the angling and fishing sites as some have a similar type of table on there .
Hope your doing well brother, been watching all your videos along with many other bushcraft channels trying to absorb as much knowledge as I can before I head out wild camping myself. I'm really not a people person and very much enjoy my own company, I'm concerned with dog walkers grassing you up, or teenagers attacking or trashing your site. Do you have any tips in finding the best isolated areas? I'm in the Warwickshire area, I'm also concerned will my car be safe, and preferably not a million miles away from my site. Any info, tips would be greatly appreciated! 👍
Basically what I mean is what should I be looking for on maps, minimum distances from built up areas, dangers to be aware of, avoiding farmers and people in general.

Yeah they're not something I'd usually take on a solo camp. I'm mainly going to be using them at home.
Love this channel dude, I have been with you for a long time now and it’s refreshing with the recent videos to hear like minded voices.

All the best.
Same happened with clubs closer to me. Most have shut down over the last ten years or so.
We still have the 1st Amendment here in the states.........at least for now.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I preferred the videos when there was less blogging and more camping.
