- SC Bass is on Lake Wylie and so am I! It’s late June and the kayak bass fishing is scorching in temperature and topwater bites! I caught my PB ShellCracker, competed with the best until the last whistle, and had such a fun day.

Awesome video! I couldn't get a top bite. I ran into Michael Dunran right after he caught that 23 incher. I started throwing a shakyhead and caught a 15 and half incher. It jumped off the board when I was taking picture. That was my first bass on a shakyhead ever. I caught 2 more small bass on wacky rig but they was to small.
Duran is an animal out there. He fishes shallow better than any angler I have ever seen in person. I have been very on with topwater lately but I know it's hit or miss. The shaky head was a struggle for me. I thought for sure that or the ned would execute well in the second part of the day, I was wrong for me. Nice on the shaky head. It's probably the most used tournament lure IMO.
I was pulling for you when I checked the leaderboard! I didn’t get to fish it unfortunately, but it looked like a fun day. Just got my 7777 lure package today with fuzzy dice. See how the Murray bass like it!

@@TravisDoesKayakFishing Yes we did . I spend $1,000 dollars on fireworks so it was a very good show beside trying to catch my big toe on fire . Too much 🍺🍺 LOL LOL LOL but it was fun .
