@@TravisDoesKayakFishing Yep, by the DNR office! One of my favorite spots. You'll see an island around there, its a 15ish foot shelf that drops to 40 quickly. It's a hot spot!

I would absolutely trade. I find I can get a limit worth there, but the big fish are few and far in between for me. I know a guy who goes up there and catchs 5lbers like it's nothing. It has to be all be in brush and ditches.

If there was one lure I would tell a beginner to pickup, it's the shaky head, even over wacky. It just works no matter what if you get the shake and color right.

It's all good man. I still had fun, but would have had more with a win ya know. No slowing down here for the winter, but it all goes to recreational fishing wish is needed change. I was using it until I replaced the setup with a BFS. It held up, but it feels cheap in my hands for sure. I don't hate the rod though.

@TravisDoesKayakFishing Over Labor day weekend I did a 37 mile kayak camping 🏕 trip with my whole entire family & family friends & on Saturday I got Second degree sunburn on my face , Arms , legs 🦵, feet 🦶 , & toes & everything is very extremely RED & I can barely walk barefooted 👣 , you can't touch my arms , legs 🦵, feet 🦶 , or toes & I can't even put on my Medication on my feet or put on my flip flops 🩴 because it hurts so bad . I had to be pushed in to the doctor office in a wheelchair barefooted 👣 because the doctor office said that I couldn't walk in there barefooted 👣 but I can't even put on my flip flops 🩴 because it hurts . I got Blisters all over my body from the burn & I am going to have to start seeing a Skin doctor Because my doctor thinks it's going to turn into skin cancer because how bad the burn is . & I even put a lot of sunblock on me on Saturday . I have been barefooted 👣 every since Friday morning August 30 then I got to the river put in . I can't drive barefooted 👣 because it hurts so bad to touch the pedals . My 2nd son is driving me around for right now .

I sold it a while back. I wanted to see what difference it made, and honestly, I don't think I was using it right. I plan to get a new on in late April when I get a new kayak. I am going all out on this next one.

Yehah man, I went into thick of it. I am the worst at not hitting the rec button for sure. I just need to get better at it. I like it when I am catching fish but I just cannot do it consistently.

I like a little stain to clear, just because I struggle in this stuff. I hear it's the best way to find good size fish though.

@@TravisDoesKayakFishing Hey buddy ! I am just trying to deal with my sunburn I got over the holiday man. I got pretty burn again on my face , Arms , legs 🦵, feet 🦶 . Everything is extremely RED & now turn into Blister & it hurts really really bad to walk . My toes red & blisters up & I can't be touched by anything at all . I had to take my flip flops 🩴 & turn them upside-down to over my feet 🦶 & toes from the sun & I even was use Sunscreen & sunblock too & still go burn . My wife wants me to go to the Dr to get look at . But I hurts so bad & I can't even go to work because I am in so much pain man but I gad a good time on my Kayak camping 🏕 trip . You should do some kayak camping 🏕 man .

I really love night fishing. The best advice I have, go somewhere you know really well. It helps to get used to when you have some comfort.
