1. Teman is the ancient Kingdom Of Edom( modern day southern Israel/Jordan), not Saudia Arabias red sea border and at Habakkuks time it was just south of the Kingdom of Judah. 2. We know Teman is Edom( Jeremiah 49:7,Ezekiel 25:13, Amos 1:12-> Isaiah 34:6). 3. Paran is not in Saudia Arabia its along the border of the Kingdom of Edom( Numbers 20:14-16-> Numbers 13:26) so the location of Paran is either the sinai peninsula, modern day southern Israel or modern day southern Jordan. 4. Habakkuk 3:3-4 cant necessarily be linked to a human prophet as God and the Angel's are also called the holy ones and if you read the chapter it doesnt sound like a human but instead someone divine.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 1. I already addressed point 1 in the video if you had just listened. Teman doesn’t ALWAYS refer to a proper name! In most cases it just refers to a southern region, AS Eusebius CONFIRMS. 2. You repeated the first point lol 3. Genesis 21:21 Paran is where ISHMAEL dwelt. Eusebius confirms it’s the Hijaz region, along side with contemporary non Muslim attestation from Sebeos the bishop of Armenia when he says Mohamet and his men came out of PARAN
@@MuslimOrthodoxyno duh the kingdom of Edom was JUST SOUTH of the kingdom of Judah. And Eusebius was so far removed from the time of the Torah that he could have gotten that detail wrong. Scholars even say Josephus got details about the Old Testament wrong and he was a Jewish historian.
Bruh this is dumb. This is something in Hebrew called Synonymous Parallelism. “The Holy One” coming from Paran, is God, not a prophet. Look at literally the next sentence “His glory covered the heavens” this in the Bible is used in the strictest sense for God (Leviticus 9:6, Isaiah 40:6) Habakkuk and Deuteronomy are clearly in past tense? This already happened. Habakkuk 3 is about the Babylonian exile, read the rest of the damn book From Chapter 1 “For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told. 6 I am raising up the Babylonians,[a] that ruthless and impetuous people, who sweep across the whole earth to seize dwellings not their own.” If you read almost any Jewish writing, it refers to God as “The Holy One.” Hakkadosh Barukh Hu (Translated as “The Holy One, Blessed be he”) Also Jesus is called “The Holy One of God” in the Bible (Mark 1:24) Islam has 1: No priesthood 2: No altars in the places of worship 3: It says the Jews and even Pagans believed Jesus was the messiah (Quran 4:157) 4: No incense So Muslims don’t worship like the ancient Jews David and Solomon did at all. Because they had a priesthood, altar, incense, etc. Also you might want to read Ezekiel 16:7-8 “You grew and developed and entered puberty. Your breasts had formed and your hair had grown, yet you were stark naked. 8 “‘Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your naked body.” The age of consent is not at the age of 9 (When Muhammad married Aisha)
@@RichyPlays112 so Muhammed was a liar because he said God our lord is One, just like Jesus said? Just like the first commandment of the Law say? So if muhammed is a liar the first commandment is also a lie according to you and Jesus was also a liar too then. Because yeah God did re-establish the truth about his uniqueness after the idolatry that Christians have done about Jesus.
1. Contextual Interpretation of Habakkuk 3:3 The prophecy in Habakkuk 3:3 states: “God came from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran. His glory covered the heavens, and His praise filled the earth.” Teman and Mount Paran are geographical locations associated with the history of Israel, specifically the period of the Exodus when God delivered the Israelites from Egypt. Paran refers to the wilderness where the Israelites camped (Numbers 10:12), and Teman is often associated with the region of Edom, south of Israel. Interpretation in context: The passage poetically recalls God's past deliverance of Israel, highlighting His power and glory during the Exodus and His appearance at Mount Sinai. The surrounding verses describe natural phenomena like earthquakes and light, which are consistent with descriptions of God's theophany (visible manifestation of God) in the Old Testament. Why it doesn’t refer to Muhammad: The context of Habakkuk 3 is retrospective-it looks back at God’s past acts of salvation for Israel, not a future prophecy. There is no indication in the text that it refers to a future leader outside the covenant people of Israel. 2. Paran in the Bible The wilderness of Paran is mentioned in connection with the Israelites' journey after leaving Egypt (Deuteronomy 1:1). It was where Ishmael (Abraham’s son through Hagar) settled (Genesis 21:21), but the Bible consistently links Paran to events involving the Israelites, not future non-Israelite figures. If Habakkuk’s reference to Paran was intended as a prophecy about a future figure, it would likely be related to God’s dealings with His covenant people, Israel, rather than someone outside that covenant. In the New Testament, God’s ultimate act of salvation and revelation is through Jesus Christ, who fulfills the Old Testament prophecies (Luke 24:27, Matthew 5:17). 3. Use of 10,000 Companions The claim that Muhammad’s march on Mecca with 10,000 companions fulfills Habakkuk 3:3 lacks Biblical support. Numbers or events involving non-Israelite leaders are not prophesied in this context. The number 10,000 appears in the Bible in contexts unrelated to Muhammad. For example, Deuteronomy 33:2 mentions “ten thousand holy ones” accompanying God when He appeared at Mount Sinai. This is a poetic reference to angels, not human followers. The imagery in Habakkuk refers to God’s glory and power, not a military conquest led by a human. 4. Prophetic Fulfillment in Jesus, Not Muhammad The New Testament presents Jesus as the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies, including those in the book of Habakkuk. Luke 1:68-75 speaks of God visiting and redeeming His people through Jesus. Hebrews 1:1-3 declares that God, who spoke in the past through the prophets, has now spoken through His Son, Jesus Christ, who is the radiance of God's glory. Jesus' mission involved spiritual salvation rather than earthly conquest. The Bible consistently focuses on God's work through Israel and the coming of the Messiah, not a future leader from outside the Jewish lineage. 5. Additional Biblical Prophecies Prophecies like Isaiah 42, sometimes cited to support Muhammad’s prophethood, explicitly refer to a servant of God who will bring justice to the nations-a role fulfilled by Jesus according to the New Testament (Matthew 12:17-21).
The trinity is not even a doctrine because a doctrine is based on actual scriptures, it's a dogma because it is not based on any real explicit scripture, it's invented by men, by romans men, influenced by babylonian and Roman mythology. You can search it up : Romans at the time of Nicea council were really into babylonian trinity. And they put in the Christian belief. Constantine the great is The 11th horn of Daniel I can show you, you can turn a blind eye or use your false interpretations to respond me but that doesn't change the truth. In the prophecy of Daniel there were 4 beasts : first there was the 1st who represented babylonia, then the 2nd beast took his empire and represented the medo persia empire. Then the 3rd beast was the The Greek empire of Alexander the Great and finally the fourth beast which was Rome. In the prophecy of Daniel 7 the angel says there will be 10 corns that represent 10 Kings ( NOT REGIONS Like deluded Christians says : indeed why would Christians Consider the horns representing the kings of the previous beasts but change the interpretation of the horns when it suits them and say that Daniel was talking about regions? While the angel himself said that the horns were kings, like the previous beasts.) the 10 corns of the Roman beast were the 10 emperor who persecuted the Christians and the jews during the The 10 Great Waves of Persecution. As if by chance, the emperor who comes just after the 10th horn is the emperor Constantine. It is said that the little horn will supplant 3 other horns and historically Constantine reunified the Roman Empire after triumphing over the other 3 co-emperors. Coincidence? It is said that this 11th horn so Constantine will speak against the Most High, and who is the emperor who organized the Council of Nicaea and forced the Unitarian Christians to sign the council to consider that Jesus was god and therefore blaspheming against the Almight by associating him with his human being Messiah? CONSTANTINE. It is also said that the 11th corn will persecute the saints of the most high, and Constantine did what? He persecuted the arians the unitarians Christians and the jews : he even burnt all the books of Arius, the priest of unitarian movement! Another coincidence? It is said in the prophecy that the persecutions will go on for a time, times and half a time (1 time, 2 time and 1/2 time) if we consider one time to be a century, 1 time 2 times and half a time corresponds exactly to 350. And guess what there is 350 years between the year of birth of constantine the great in 272 and the The Hijra in 622, the year of the establishment of the kingdom of Islam, the kingdom of God of Daniel. coincidence ? I think not. Another coincidence The prophet Muhammed saws sent a letter to heraclius the Roman emperor at the time of the prophet and in this letter the prophet tells him to believe in one God or he will responsible for the crimes against the arians. Because arians were persecuted again and again until the Muslims conquered the countries of Roman trinitarian killers. The Muslims saved the unitarian Christians from their persecution and saved the jews who was expelled from the holy land by these Roman trinitarians. That's a complete fulfillment of the prophecy of a time times and half a time. @@RichyPlays112
@@HurremSultan-v3w Quran 6:115 + Quran 3:3-4, your own book says the Torah (Genesis-Duet) and the Gospel (Matt, Mark, Luke and John) are allah's words. The Gospels mention the trinity and even so the Torah (Matt 28:19-20 clearly does) (Genesis 1:26 says let Us make man in Our image clearly referencing the fact that all 3 as One want to make man in Their image) so your own quran says that your claim here is false because the quran says the Torah and the Gospel are allah's words and that allah's words cant be changed. EDIT: looks like he deleted his comment.
@@RichyPlays112there is no verse of Torah or gospels that teach trinity that's all false interpretations of pagan Christians! In the quran Allah says he gave JESUS the gospel he did not give the gospel to the apostles. The gospel in the quran is only what Jesus taught, it's not the gospels of today that just tells the story of his life. Yet even Jesus told his apostles that the Kingdom of God will be taken away from the jews and given to another nation and it was not the church, the kingdom of God had to be established by a PROPHET sent by God just like Jesus was a prophet sent by God not by some priest that claim that they have the holy spirit without any proof. Even Paul had prophesied that apostasy would take place soon after his departure. He said there would be a falling away from the truth. The truth is the oneness of God. One doesn’t have to read very far in early church history to see just how that prophecy was fulfilled. Gnosticism began to rise up under the influence of philosophers who sought to reconcile Christianity with Paganism. At the same time, a strong anti-Jewish sentiment became more widespread. Very speculative interpretations began to appear regarding some of the great doctrines of Christ and the apostles.By the time Constantine was established as the emperor of Rome in the early fourth century, there was a decided division in the church as a result of all these factors He declared all his pagan soldiers to be Christians, and became very zealous to build up the power and prestige of the church. Through his influence great blocks of pagans were taken into the Christian ranks. But, they were still pagan at heart, and they brought in much of the paraphernalia of sun-worship to which they continued to be devoted.that time the cult of Mithraism or sun-worship was the official religion of the Roman Empire. It stood as the greatest competitor to the new Christian religion. It had its own organization, temples, priesthood, robes-everything. It also had an official worship day on which special homage was given to the sun. That day was called “The Venerable Day of the Sun.” It was the first day of the week, and from it we get our name Sunday. When Constantine pressed his pagan hordes into the church they were observing the day of the sun for their adoration of the sun god. It was their special holy day. In order to make it more convenient for them to make the change to the new religion, Constantine accepted their day of worship, Sunday, instead of the Christian Sabbath which had been observed by Jesus and His disciples. And guess what the 11th horn of Daniel change the law and the shabbat just like Constantine the great did. Maybe you want to turn blind to all these truth, I understand but don't make the quran says what it doesn't say and do not do like the pagan Christians that corrupted the Christianity with their trinity invention. Even if the gospels of today are the word of God. NOWHERE there is trinity. All you are talking about is false and biased interpretations or corrupted verses added by catholic church : those corruptions are well known even to Christian scholars not me or Muslims. The wilderness of Paran is where the israelites spent 40 years wandering after the exile, and both the verses you quoted out of context are speaking of things that had already occurred at the time of writing. Both passages are saying that God had already done this, so unless Muhammed lived for thousands of years or was reincarnated, it is not related to him at all.
@MuslimOrthodoxy the most literal translation of Habakkuk 3 is in the present tense, not the future. Some of the other things ascribed to God coming from the south: Glory covering the earth and heavens, pestilence and plague going out before him, light shining from his hands, shaking the earth by standing and walking, making mountains scatter, and making hills bow. These are all descriptors of things God has, is currently, and will do again. Taking half of a sentence out of context in a prayer Habakkuk prayed is not a way to prove anything. Especially when the rest of the prayer is very clearly referring to God by name. Verse 2 refers to God by his name, Yahweh, saying that Habakkuk has heard his report. Verses 3-7 describe what God is doing currently. Verse 8 asks if it is against rivers that Yahweh is angry. So, either Habakkuk went from talking to and about Yahweh to talking about Muhammed, but then swapped back after half a sentence, or you are cherry-picking.

And Moses fell down in a swoon. When he recovered his senses he said: “Glory be to Thee! to Thee I turn in repentance, and I am the first to believe.” (7:143). “And this was the legacy that Abraham left to his sons, and so did Jacob; “Oh my sons! Allah hath chosen the Faith for you; then die not except in the Faith of Islam,” (2:132).
Does Allah forgive or not forgive those who worship false gods? Yet they worshipped the calf even after clear signs had come to them; even so we forgave them; and gave Moses manifest proofs of authority,” (4:153).
Please reread the verse again, this time carefully “God came from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His splendor covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.” The verse is talking about God, he is the Holy one, none is holy but him, however even if you want to say they are different, it would just prove Christianity, the whole earth would praise his name, what Muslim praises Muhammad, praise is to God alone, however, if this verse is referring to Jesus, and the rest of the chapter talks about the wrath of God which is most certainly referring to the second coming of Christ, it makes sense, Jesus is the holy one, and every knee will bow and praise his name
@ good point, I'll give you that one, but it still doesn't explain why he didn't bring a plague with him, why he didn't stand and measure the earth, why he didn't scatter mountains, why rays didn't flash from his hand, and why the entire passage is talking about God, the Holy One

I’m asking what it means, God will come from Africa. If you said, “God has only remained in Africa,” you would certainly be saying something shameful enough. But now you also say, “He will come from Africa.” We know where Christ was born, where he suffered, where he ascended into heaven, where he sent his disciples from, where he filled them with the Holy Spirit, where he instructed them to evangelize the whole world, and they complied, and the world is filled with the gospel. Plague was before him.. pestilence followed his footsteps he stood and shook the earth. Yeah you’re now committing shirk by equating Muhammad as God. This is not speaking of a mere prophet to come read the actual context and not rip 3:3 out of context. Now I know our lovely friends will say “ohhh but it’s corrupted.” Cool, if it’s corrupted then don’t quote it or use it as “evidence”.
@ you’re assuming that. It doesn’t say God will send someone. God is very capable of showing up himself, he walked with Adam in the garden, he appeared to Moses out of a bush according to Quran. 3. Paran is not in Saudia Arabia its along the border of the Kingdom of Edom( Numbers 20:14-16-> Numbers 13:26) so the location of Paran is either the sinai peninsula, modern day southern Israel or modern day southern Jordan.

Muslims fight their Best to find Muhammad
Wanna see anothet verse when Muhammad is outright foreshadow by none other than JESUS?
Matthew 7:15
same with Galatians 1:8, it clearly mentions Momo himself.
Fallacy city over here.
Bruh this is dumb.
This is something in Hebrew called Synonymous Parallelism.
“The Holy One” coming from Paran, is God, not a prophet. Look at literally the next sentence “His glory covered the heavens” this in the Bible is used in the strictest sense for God (Leviticus 9:6, Isaiah 40:6)
Habakkuk and Deuteronomy are clearly in past tense? This already happened. Habakkuk 3 is about the Babylonian exile, read the rest of the damn book
From Chapter 1
“For I am going to do something in your days
that you would not believe,
even if you were told.
6 I am raising up the Babylonians,[a]
that ruthless and impetuous people,
who sweep across the whole earth
to seize dwellings not their own.”
If you read almost any Jewish writing, it refers to God as “The Holy One.” Hakkadosh Barukh Hu (Translated as “The Holy One, Blessed be he”)
Also Jesus is called “The Holy One of God” in the Bible (Mark 1:24)
Islam has
1: No priesthood
2: No altars in the places of worship
3: It says the Jews and even Pagans believed Jesus was the messiah (Quran 4:157)
4: No incense
So Muslims don’t worship like the ancient Jews David and Solomon did at all. Because they had a priesthood, altar, incense, etc.
Also you might want to read Ezekiel 16:7-8
“You grew and developed and entered puberty. Your breasts had formed and your hair had grown, yet you were stark naked.
8 “‘Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your naked body.”
The age of consent is not at the age of 9 (When Muhammad married Aisha)
He was in the bible. Galatians 1:8
yup, same with Matthew 7:15-20 and any other verses about false teachers and liars. 👍
1. Contextual Interpretation of Habakkuk 3:3
The prophecy in Habakkuk 3:3 states:
“God came from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran. His glory covered the heavens, and His praise filled the earth.”
Teman and Mount Paran are geographical locations associated with the history of Israel, specifically the period of the Exodus when God delivered the Israelites from Egypt. Paran refers to the wilderness where the Israelites camped (Numbers 10:12), and Teman is often associated with the region of Edom, south of Israel.
Interpretation in context:
The passage poetically recalls God's past deliverance of Israel, highlighting His power and glory during the Exodus and His appearance at Mount Sinai. The surrounding verses describe natural phenomena like earthquakes and light, which are consistent with descriptions of God's theophany (visible manifestation of God) in the Old Testament.
Why it doesn’t refer to Muhammad:
The context of Habakkuk 3 is retrospective-it looks back at God’s past acts of salvation for Israel, not a future prophecy. There is no indication in the text that it refers to a future leader outside the covenant people of Israel.
2. Paran in the Bible
The wilderness of Paran is mentioned in connection with the Israelites' journey after leaving Egypt (Deuteronomy 1:1).
3. Use of 10,000 Companions
The claim that Muhammad’s march on Mecca with 10,000 companions fulfills Habakkuk 3:3 lacks Biblical support.
4. Prophetic Fulfillment in Jesus, Not Muhammad
The New Testament presents Jesus as the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies, including those in the book of Habakkuk.
5. Additional Biblical Prophecies
Prophecies like Isaiah 42, sometimes cited to support Muhammad’s prophethood, explicitly refer to a servant of God who will bring justice to the nations-a role fulfilled by Jesus according to the New Testament (Matthew 12:17-21).
yes brother, praise King Jesus. Ill be praying for the lost

Agreed, One of the Members of the Trinity.
Yes Allah say the Torah is the light and guidance, and is the word of Him, so yeah when we read hear Israel your lord our God is ONE. @@thatonguy2407 the Hebrew says Eloh Meteiman Avo, which literally means GOD WILL COME from Teiman
@MuslimOrthodoxy the most literal translation of Habakkuk 3 is in the present tense, not the future. Some of the other things ascribed to God coming from the south:
Glory covering the earth and heavens, pestilence and plague going out before him, light shining from his hands, shaking the earth by standing and walking, making mountains scatter, and making hills bow.

Good question, right now I don’t have the knowledge, but anyone with the knowledge of the Qu’ran, please answer this question.
What was man created from: blood, clay, dust, or nothing?
“Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood,” (96:2).
“We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape, (15:26).
“The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: “Be”. And he was,” (3:59).
“But does not man call to mind that We created him before out of nothing?” (19:67, Yusuf Ali). Also, 52:35).
“He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer! (16:4).
Also answer this question 4).
Is there or is there not compulsion in religion according to the Qur’an?
“Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things,” (2:256).
This was a mistake
The first Muslim was Muhammad? Abraham? Jacob? Moses?
“And I [Muhammad] am commanded to be the first of those who bow to Allah in Islam,” (39:12).
“When Moses came to the place appointed by Us, and his Lord addressed him, He said: “O my Lord! show (Thyself) to me, that I may look upon thee.” Allah said: “By no means canst thou see Me (direct); But look upon the mount; if it abide in its place, then shalt thou see Me.” When his Lord manifested His glory on the Mount, He made it as dust.
Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up partners with Allah is to devise a sin Most heinous indeed,” (4:48). Also 4:116
The people of the Book ask thee to cause a book to descend to them from heaven: Indeed they asked Moses for an even greater (miracle), for they said: “Show us Allah in public,” but they were dazed for their presumption, with thunder and lightning. Yet they worshipped the calf even after clear signs had come to them; even so we forgave them; and gave Moses manifest proofs of authority,” (4:153).

Islam is the truth, yea right, according to your 'best of liars' god? Good luck getting me to believe that.
Elite video. This is irrefutable, just like Daniel 2&7. Rabbi Libyano does it again. Salute to you my brother
read my comment bro
read any Christians comment on this, this video is a fallacy.
Please reread the verse again, this time carefully
“God came from Teman, and the Holy One from Mount Paran.
Muhammed’s name literally means the Praised One 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@ good point, I'll give you that one, but it still doesn't explain why he didn't bring a plague with him, why he didn't stand and measure the earth, why he didn't scatter mountains, why rays didn't flash from his hand, and why the entire passage is talking about God, the Holy One
And also read (GENESIS 25:13)
And read
ISAIAH 42 [Read full chapter] it's speaking about prophet Mohammed
ISAIAH 53.5
BUT HE WAS PIERCED FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS HE WAS CRUSHED FOR OUR INIQUITIES: THE PUNISHMENT THAT BROUGHT US PEACE WAS UPON HIM AND BY HIS WOUNDS WE ARE HEALED
Isaiah 9:6-7 and 53:6
“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9:6-7
“All we like sheep have astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:6

That’s nice from Muhammad. He comes to save Israel 🤭
“12 You marched through the earth in fury; you threshed the nations in anger. 13 You went out for the salvation of 👉 your people”
1.U assumed that Ur people means Israel
2. He came to save everyone including Israel
@ That’s what most Muslims ignore. Israel is Gods chosen people. And God punishes His people if they are disobedient. That’s what Habakuk is all about 🤷🏼♂️
And yes, God wants to save everyone. THROUGH His Messiah. Jesus said in John: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. 👉 No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Jesus came in the the first place for lost sheep of Israel. Mat.15
But the prophet Isaiah wrote about the Messiah in chapter49:
“6 Indeed He says, ‘It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant
To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And to restore the preserved ones of Israel;
I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, That You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.”
The bible is a Jewish book. Written by (mostly) Jews, written about Jews, written for Jews, etc. The only way to get saved as a gentile (not being an Israelite) is THROUGH Jesus The Messiah!

It is indeed about Jesus. Man, y'all are seriously thinking you can make us not to have any answer? All the other prophecies involving this term "The Holy One" is about Christ. Actually, the meaning of Christ is "The Anointed One", and this is why Jesus is called the Christ. Look at these verses with other eyes and stop distorting the scriptures like a baloon animal.

No Christian can answer? You’re clutching at straws my friend.
The whole church knows those verses are about the Son of God.
Habakkuk 3:3 is about the Son of God.
Deuteronomy 33:2 is about the Son of God.
He said,
“The Lord came from Sinai
and dawned from Seir upon us;
he shone forth from Mount Paran;
he came with ten thousands of saints, with flaming fire at his right hand.”
(The Lord came, He shone forth).
The Lord who appeared to Israel was the Son of God.
He spread the Law to all nations.

@@georgiacap9294 I didn’t know Jesus came from Hejaz in Arabia, conquered nations militarily with 10,000 companions and his name is Mahmoud
@@MuslimOrthodoxy Where we recognize Christ in what is written: “God will come from the south and the holy one from the shady mountain; his strength will cover the heavens,” there we recognize the church in what follows: “And the earth is full of his praise.” Jerusalem was settled from Africa, as we read in the book of Joshua, son of Nun; from there the name of Christ was spread abroad; there is the shady mountain, the Mount of Olives, from which he ascended into heaven, so that his strength might cover the heavens and the church might be filled through all the earth with his praise.
But tell us the other thing you were saying you were going to tell us. “The prophet,” says he, “says God ‘will come from Afric,’ and now of course where the Afric is, there is Africa.” Well, there’s a fine testimony for you! God will come from the Afric, and from Africa God will come. The heretics are announcing another Christ who is born in Africa and goes through the world. And you say, “God will come from Africa!” … So how does he come from “the shady mountain”? Read the Gospel once more: it was from the Mount of Olives that Christ ascended into heaven. Continue. And what could be clearer? You hear “from the Afric”; you have heard “from the shady mountain.” We recite the law, we recite the Gospel; you have heard “beginning from Jerusalem”; now hear “throughout all the nations.” In the same prophet continue with those words that you ignored, those words you left out…. “God will come from the Afric, and the Holy One from the shady mountain,” that is, from the Mount of Olives, where he ascended into heaven, where he sent his disciples from, where he also said as he was about to ascend, “It is not for you to know the times which the Father has placed in his own power; but you will receive might from on high, and you will be witness to me … in Jerusalem, and in Judea and in Samaria, and as far as the whole earth.”

Bro this is so bad. Start from habakkuk3:1 it’s clearly speaking about GOD not a prophet. It says GOD came. His splenders covered the heavens. Did Muhammad cover the heavens? Plague was before him.. pestilence followed his footsteps he stood and shook the earth. Yeah you’re now committing shirk by equating Muhammad as God. This is not speaking of a mere prophet to come read the actual context and not rip 3:3 out of context. Now I know our lovely friends will say “ohhh but it’s corrupted.” Cool, if it’s corrupted then don’t quote it or use it as “evidence”.
Yea…. It’s talking about God. It’s called agency. God comes by sending one on his behalf to come.
@ you’re assuming that. It doesn’t say God will send someone. God is very capable of showing up himself, he walked with Adam in the garden, he appeared to Moses out of a bush according to Quran. He also wrestled with Jacob on and on… none of these require an extra agency outside of God. Muhammad is not mentioned here that’s the truth
