Quran FAIL: How Islam's Holy Book DISPROVES Itself

  • The Quran, Islam's holy book, self destructs. It claims the Torah and Gospels are God's Word and Muhammad was sent to confirm it. So why does it contradict the Bible's core teachings about Jesus? In this video, I examine the Quran's shocking confessions about the Bible's reliability, exposing a major dilemma for Muslims. If the Quran is right about the Bible, then Islam's own foundation crumbles.

Here’s my reply to your joke of a Christian channel.
And We sent, following in their footsteps, Jesus, the son of Mary, confirming that which came before him in the Torah; and We gave him the Gospel, in which was guidance and light and confirming that which preceded it of the Torah as guidance and instruction for the righteous.
      Al-Ma'idah (5:46)
So for their breaking of the covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard. They distort words from their [proper] usages and have forgotten a portion of that of which they were reminded. And you will still observe deceit among them, except a few of them. But pardon them and overlook [their misdeeds]. Indeed, Allah loves the doers of good.
      Al-Ma'idah (5:13)
You altering your own New Testament and not believing in the Old Testament disproves your own religion. Jesus wasn’t even Greek. He was a Jew who spoke Hebrew and Aramaic. Maybe you should read your own Old Testament for a change instead of being so insecure about us like you Christians are nowadays.

@@phibik This comment suggests that the Bible's warnings about false prophets are directly referring to Prophet Muhammad, which is a misunderstanding of both the Bible and Islamic teachings. Here’s why this argument is flawed:
      Context Matters:
The Bible contains warnings about false prophets, but these warnings are not specific to any individual and were given in various contexts long before Prophet Muhammad's time. Claiming these verses specifically refer to Muhammad is an interpretative leap without basis in historical context.
      Prophet Muhammad in Islam:
Muslims believe Prophet Muhammad is the last prophet sent by God, as foretold in the Quran. The Quran describes Muhammad as a truthful and trustworthy messenger. Accusations of him being a false prophet are contrary to the beliefs and testimonies of his character and mission recorded in Islamic tradition.Interfaith Respect:
Dialogue between religious beliefs should be based on mutual respect and understanding. Misusing religious texts to delegitimize another faith does not foster constructive discussion or mutual respect.

I already talked about all these but I will say them again.
"No one can change Allah's words" mean if Allah sais something will happen nothing can stop it from happening. It doesnt mean what you Christians think.
I also already talked about what Surah 5 44-47 mean. The whole part is about how Jews in Medina always asked Muhammed questions to "judge by Muhammed" so that they could find an opening and show Muhammed bad but they already had had their own laws (Ten Commandments) so that they can judge by themselves. They were even sent Isa to confirm the Ten Commamdments. If you read the other verses after and before these verses you would understand it.
I also wonder why do we need to know the original one to say Bible is corrupted. We as Muslims believe Quran is from Allah because it makes sense. Quran sais Bible is corrupted therefore we believe Bible is corrupted. If Bible made sense to us we would be Christian anyway.
If a book told you to worship an elephant and we have historical evidence to know it wasnt corrupted would you believe it. No. Because it wouldnt make sense.
Also Surah 5 48 sais that Quran is "confirmation and supreme authority" over scriptures that came before. That Quran is confirmation over Bible and Torah doesnt mean it sais the whole Bible and Torah is true.
Think of it like this. You write a history book and show it to a professor historian for him to show you the true and wrong parts of your book. Now this historian is supreme authority over your book because it decides about it. But he is also confirmation on it since it also confirms the true parts of your book.

@@TomAdo-ot4ci Comment 1: "Ahh yes a book about a guy from long ago talking about Jesus hundreds of years later by a man who didn't know anything about the Old Testament very trustworthy...."
      Counterargument:
      Historical Accuracy:
The Quran is believed by Muslims to be the word of God revealed to Prophet Muhammad, who is seen as the final prophet in a long line of prophets, including those from the Old and New Testaments. While Prophet Muhammad himself did not study the Old Testament, his revelations in the Quran contain detailed knowledge of biblical stories and figures, which Muslims believe were divinely revealed.
      Divine Revelation:
The Quran is considered a divine revelation, not a historical account written from human knowledge. This belief asserts that the information in the Quran is directly from God, who has complete knowledge of all past events, including those in the Old Testament. This makes the Quran a trustworthy source for Muslims.
      Consistency with Previous Scriptures:
The Quran acknowledges previous scriptures (the Torah and the Gospel) and affirms their original messages, though it asserts that these texts have been altered over time. This perspective is not unique to Islam but is a foundational aspect of the faith, emphasizing continuity and completion of God's message through Prophet Muhammad.
Comment 2: "Don't forget he couldn't even read"
      Counterargument:
      Miracle of Revelation:
The fact that Prophet Muhammad was illiterate (unlettered) is actually a significant point in Islam, reinforcing the miraculous nature of the Quran. Muslims believe that an unlettered man bringing forth such a profound and complex text, filled with deep knowledge and wisdom, is a testament to its divine origin.
      Oral Tradition:
During Muhammad’s time, oral tradition was a primary mode of preserving knowledge. His illiteracy did not hinder him from receiving, memorizing, and conveying the revelations. His followers meticulously memorized and later transcribed these revelations, ensuring their preservation.
Comment 3: "yeah the book just fell from heaven or he just learned it from over 20 years in the desert without forgetting it..."
      Counterargument:
      Process of Revelation:
The Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad over a period of 23 years through the angel Gabriel. This gradual revelation allowed for the message to be internalized and memorized by the Prophet and his followers. The process ensured the text was preserved accurately and disseminated effectively among early Muslims.
      Role of Companions:
Muhammad’s companions played a crucial role in memorizing and writing down the Quranic verses as they were revealed. The preservation of the Quran involved a community effort, with many individuals memorizing the entire text, which safeguarded it against alterations.
Comment 4: "it defies the very definition of 'miracle', as Testify has demonstrated in his miracles series. I don't see how a book defies the laws of nature or physics."
      Counterargument:
      Definition of Miracle:
In Islamic theology, a miracle (mu'jiza) is an extraordinary event that surpasses human capability and understanding, attributed to divine intervention. The Quran, with its unparalleled linguistic beauty, profound wisdom, and consistency, is considered a literary and spiritual miracle.
      Linguistic Miracle:
The Quran’s linguistic style, depth, and structure are viewed as miraculous, especially considering the Prophet’s illiteracy. The challenge posed in the Quran for anyone to produce a chapter like it has stood unmet for over 1,400 years, highlighting its unique nature.
      Impact on Society:
The transformative effect of the Quran on individuals and society, its guidance on all aspects of life, and its consistency and preservation through centuries, all contribute to its status as a miracle in Islam. Its ability to provide moral and spiritual guidance across generations and cultures further underscores its miraculous nature.
      Conclusion
In summary, these counterarguments highlight the Islamic perspective on the divine origin and preservation of the Quran, the significance of Prophet Muhammad’s illiteracy in reinforcing the miraculous nature of the Quran, and the broader understanding of miracles in Islam. This approach aims to clarify misconceptions and provide a respectful and informed response to the comments

Muslims often claim/say your Gospel was lost or corrupted.
But is it not (from their worldview) Allah's Gospel?
From what I have read, the Quran claims the Gospel was preserved & present at the time of Muhammad.
Then why don't Muslims take responsibility for retaining the Gospel.
The Gospel is supposed to prove Muhammad is a Prophet.
It seems common sense they would keep copies of the Gospel/Injeel to show the evidence for Muhammad.
And I mean from Muhammad's time forward.

    • @danielromani2964

That’s exactly the problem. They don’t have proof of an “original” Gospel, which leaves the ones we have as the only valid ties to what the Quran claims. Then there is the issue of the Bible and Quran contradicting each other on many subjects: was Jesus God or not, how to get to Heaven, even some of the events of history like Abraham putting up Isaac or Ishmael. So the Quran can’t be a continuation of the Bible. And there’s the point of the whole video, where it shows how the Quran ends up false any way you slice it. Either the Bible is true and the Quran is false, or the Bible is false, in which case the Quran is wrong to claim it as there is no proof of any “original” Gospel to bail it out

      @jacobfavret1729 22 дні тому +3

They can’t tell you what the injeel is, so it’s hard to answer you unless you speak to a Muslim directly. As their theology is just head canon, there’s no standardization or reason. Erik is even making an assumption that injeel is gospel, as they claim the true gospel was given to “Isa son of Myriam” then was corrupted. But that begs the question, where is the original injeel? If they claim it is the gospels then you run into Erik’s refutation. If they sense that coming they will claim we don’t know and the gospels were all made up. So then you need the historicity argument which they deny vehemently. I’ve also been told the injeel is the gospel of John alone, which doesn’t work for so many reasons 😂 hope I helped but to answer you, they don’t even know so don’t worry if you’re confused. You should be, God is not the author of confusion or the Quran.

@@Uncommonvirtue777 Argument 1: "They don't have proof of an 'original' Gospel, which leaves the ones we have as the only valid ties to what the Quran claims."
      Counterargument:
      Islamic Perspective on Previous Scriptures:
Islam teaches that the original revelations given to previous prophets, including the Gospel (Injil) given to Jesus, were true and from God. However, these scriptures were altered over time. The absence of the original texts does not invalidate the claim; it aligns with the Quran's assertion of textual corruption.
      Historical Context:
Historical and textual criticism of the Bible indicates numerous alterations and inconsistencies. The Quran's claim of alteration finds some support in these scholarly findings. Therefore, the Quran's position is not inherently baseless but is rooted in historical and textual analysis.
Argument 2: "The Bible and Quran contradict each other on many subjects: was Jesus God or not, how to get to Heaven, even some of the events of history like Abraham putting up Isaac or Ishmael. So the Quran can't be a continuation of the Bible."
      Counterargument:
      Clarification and Correction:
From the Islamic viewpoint, the Quran was sent to clarify and correct the alterations in previous scriptures. The Quran provides what Muslims believe is the correct understanding of theological concepts and historical events.
      Different Covenants:
Islam sees itself not as a contradiction but as the final and complete revelation, building upon and correcting past messages. The differences in theological points, such as the nature of Jesus, are seen as clarifications rather than contradictions.
Argument 3: "There is no proof of any 'original' Gospel to bail it out. They can't tell you what the Injil is."
      Counterargument:
      Concept of Divine Revelation:
The Quran's assertion is that the Injil was the revelation given to Jesus, distinct from the gospels written later. Muslims are not required to provide a physical copy of the original Injil to validate their beliefs, as the Quran itself is considered the final and preserved word of God.
      Reliance on Revelation:
Muslims believe that God’s revelation through the Quran is sufficient proof of the original messages. The Quran reiterates and reaffirms the core messages of earlier prophets, which is seen as evidence of their continuity.
Argument 4: "Muslims put the onus on Christians. When the onus and responsibility is really on the Muslims to have kept and preserved the Injil/Gospel."
      Counterargument:
      Historical Context:
According to Islamic teachings, the preservation of previous scriptures was the responsibility of the communities to whom they were given. The Quran was revealed to be the final and protected scripture, and its preservation was ensured through meticulous oral and written traditions.
      Role of the Quran:
The Quran serves as the final and complete guidance, superseding previous scriptures. Therefore, the preservation of the Quran takes precedence, and the belief is that it encompasses the true essence of all previous revelations.
Argument 5: "Jesus was a Muslim. Muslims should have preserved 'Muslim' scriptures."
      Counterargument:
      Definition of 'Muslim':
In Islamic terminology, a 'Muslim' is someone who submits to the will of God. Therefore, all prophets, including Jesus, are considered 'Muslims' in this sense. This does not mean that the community of Prophet Muhammad was responsible for preserving previous scriptures.
      Role of Successive Revelations:
Each prophet's community was responsible for their own scriptures until the final revelation (the Quran) was given to Prophet Muhammad. The Quran's role is to act as the definitive guide, encompassing and confirming previous revelations.
Argument 6: "The Quran ends up false any way you slice it. Either the Bible is true and the Quran is false, or the Bible is false, in which case the Quran is wrong to claim it."
      Counterargument:
      Correction, Not Contradiction:
The Islamic perspective is that the Quran corrects and finalizes the previous revelations. The assertion is that the Bible contains elements of truth but has been altered. Thus, the Quran can be true even if parts of the Bible are not, as it aims to restore the original message.
      Scriptural Integrity:
The preservation of the Quran, supported by historical evidence of consistent manuscripts and widespread memorization, strengthens the claim of its authenticity and divine origin. This preservation is seen as fulfilling the promise that the final revelation would be protected from alteration.
      Conclusion
In summary, the Islamic perspective on the Injil and the Quran's relationship with previous scriptures is nuanced and deeply rooted in theological and historical contexts. The arguments presented by critics often misunderstand or misrepresent these beliefs. By clarifying the role of the Quran as a final and corrective revelation, the consistency of its preservation, and the broader theological framework, a more accurate understanding of the Islamic position can be provided.

Critique of Trinity by Muslim Scholars:
@TonyTheRodentLover: "Muslim scholars often cite confusion about the Trinity as a reason not to believe in the Bible."
Response: Muslim scholars and many others critique the concept of the Trinity not out of confusion but based on theological reasoning. Here are a few points:
      Logical Incoherence of the Trinity:
@MontuDesigns: "The Trinity can't exist as they are either dependent or independent of each other and either way, they can't be God."
Explanation: The Trinity doctrine proposes that God is three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) in one essence. However, this leads to logical contradictions:
Dependency Issue: If the three persons of the Trinity are co-equal and co-eternal, they cannot be dependent on each other. Yet, they are described as distinct entities within one Godhead.
Unity Issue: If the Trinity is one God, they must share a single divine essence. However, if they are distinct persons, they must also have distinct identities, which challenges the concept of absolute unity.
      Biblical Interpretations:
@Cabbage22927: "Muhammad should have kept the Gospels and Jesus out of his teachings."
Response: The Qur'an acknowledges Jesus (Isa) as a revered prophet and messenger, and addresses the misconceptions regarding his role in Christianity. Islam's teachings emphasize the unity and oneness of God (Tawhid) without plurality or division into distinct persons.
      Addressing the Trinity's Complexity
      Human Understanding:
@ballistic9644: "The Trinity is not something that can be fully comprehended by humans."
Response: While Christians assert the mystery of the Trinity, Islam maintains that God's nature should be understandable within the limits of human reason and revelation. The Qur'an consistently reinforces the concept of monotheism without introducing complexities like the Trinity.

    2 Corinthians 11:14
And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.
    Galatians 1:6-9
I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you to live in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel- which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!
According to Islamic tradition, Muhammad was visited by the angel Jibril (Gabriel), who revealed to him the beginnings of what would later become the Qur'an.
    God creates, Satan counterfeits.
    Matthew 7:15-20
Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

She replied to me that when the Quran talks about the facts that Jews and Christians need to obey their Scriptures, the text is not referring to the ones alive in Mohammed's days but to those alive when the Scriptures were not corrupt yet, and when the Quran says that nobody can change God's word, it's referring specifically to the Quran and to no other book, or it refers to the fact that God's will is undefeated.

      6.114
Allah gave you the Quran and to those whom Allah gave [the prior scriptures] they know it [the Quran] is the truth
      6.115
The words [in the prior scriptures] have been fulfilled [about the Quran and Mohamad].
      *None can change His words*
Q: *_WHY_* do they know the Quran is true?
A: *_BECAUSE_* none can change his words. Therefore they will find it written in their books.
So actually "None Can Change His Words" is the REASON they KNOW that Quran is the "truth" because they can READ IT *_in their books_* because they're unchanged.
But this has not been effective for me in the past, they don't accept interpretation of a Christian, only the words of Mohamad so better to just stick to giving them Mohamad's words.

    • @timd3895
      @timd3895 23 дні тому +3

Needs some correction, 5.47-48 only tells the Christians to use the Gospel to judge for themselves, just like 5.43 told the Jews to judge by the Torah, but 5.48 still says Allah sent the Quran to the Arabs as the "truth," but Allah does not want us to be one people that's why he gave us each our own law (Torah, Gospel, Quran).
So these verses specifically don't say the Gospel is above the Quran. Just that both should be used by different people.
But there are other verses in the Quran that do give supremacy to the Torah and Gospel over the Quran.
10:94 - Mohamad doubted that Quran is from God, told to ask the Jews and Christians to tell him if Quran is true or not
21.7 - if you don't know something ask the Christians
7.157 - The Quran claims its validity through the Bible.

I agree with daniel that the qiraat would be good to cover (the warsh and the hafs would be easy things to compare in a short video).
I am currently writing a book on all the errors in the Quran and haddiths (its long). Another thing to consider covering as you seem to be covering logical contradictions within Islam would be the idea of tawhid (the oneness of God) and his names contradicting. God's most popular names all require other things to exist yet his names and their attributes (supposedly the only way we can know allah) are eternal. So the 99 attributes are supposed to be eternal and always exist yet his most popular names are:
      Ar-rahmaan - compassionate one
      Ar-raheem - bestower of mercy
      Al-wadood - the loving one
how can you be loving, compassionate, or merciful if there is no object of your love, mercy, or compassion? The names have a bunch of issues like this and could be short.
another short contradiction would be the Quran committing shirk by claiming to be eternal. Ascribing any divine attributes to anything is the worst sin. But the Quran says it is eternal written on golden tablets in heaven. This makes the Quran (the word of allah) co-eternal with allah and thus commits shirk. That or it makes a second part of the godhead in Islam which would destroy tawhid. Fun stuff.
Idk what the last video you wanted to do was but here are 3 quick and easy ideas which every Christian and every Muslim should know.

Alright, Lets do this one last time
    *puts Spiderman mask on*
"The Quran claims the Gospels are divinely inspired and preserved, yet it contradicts key Christian doctrines, such as the divinity of Jesus and his resurrection. ", The Quran does not claim the gospels are preserved, yet It is divinely inspired. Just completely flawed and unpreserved
To tackle each point you made, we first have to take each ayat (verse) from each surah (Chapter) in full context to what was said BEFORE and AFTER it
Surah Al Ma'ida 5:47 "So let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed in it. And those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are ˹truly˺ the rebellious.", Indeed, Allah is telling the Christians to look in their own books for judgement, But allah says so as a challenge to the validity of the Bible, it's an arabic rhetorical device called "نكر" (nakr) Which means "to deny" or "to repudiate." It often pertains to rejecting something or refusing to acknowledge it in what may be a question, And The context in which it is used can vary based on the sentence structure and accompanying words. If we look in the same surah at Ayah 5:41 "O Messenger! Do not grieve for those who race to disbelieve-those who say, “We believe” with their tongues, but their hearts are in disbelief. Nor those among the Jews who eagerly listen to lies, attentive to those who are too arrogant to come to you. They distort the Scripture, taking rulings out of context, then say, “If this is the ruling you get ˹from Muhammad˺, accept it. If not, beware!” Whoever Allah allows to be deluded, you can never be of any help to them against Allah. It is not Allah’s Will to purify their hearts. For them is disgrace in this world, and they will suffer a tremendous punishment in the Hereafter." Later Allah says "They eagerly listen to falsehood and consume forbidden gain. So if they come to you ˹O Prophet˺, either judge between them or turn away from them. If you turn away from them, they cannot harm you whatsoever. But if you judge between them, then do so with justice. Surely Allah loves those who are just." . Allah then continues to use The example at how the Jews had the Torah revealed to them, and Denied the Bible and what Allah preaches, and how the Christians will deny the Quran in the same way.
When he says let the people of the gospel judge by what Allah has revealed in it, Its a challenge for the Christians to compare the gospel to the Quran, In terms of what Allah has brought in both scriptures. in the context of the surah, However it can not be taken outside of the Arabic context nor outside the context of what was said Before it.
"The Quran's assertions about the gospels as reliable revelations clash with its own claims of corruption. This contradiction undermines the Quran's credibility as a divine text."
We as Muslims acknowledge the gospel and the torah as holy books sent by Allah that were unpreserved my guy, We are not saying the versions we have now are Valid in any way, shape, or form. but the versions that were revealed to Jesus and Moses were sent by Allah, as well as all the revelations sent by the prophets beforehand. However we also believe that over time each scripture becomes corrupted, And people twist the words in them through translation and Lack of preservation or just overall confusion that they are unreliable and outdated, We don't believe that the Quran is the new and improved gospel, we believe that it is the same material Allah sent on all prophets, but this time it is preserved in it s original language, preserved through oral memorization passed on through centuries, and the exact same as the first source revealed to the Sahaba by the prophet (The companions of the prophet at that time)
The Quran's perspective on Jesus and the Gospels can be understood within its own theological framework. As we as Muslims believe that the Quran provides the final and complete revelation, which may reinterpret earlier scriptures rather than contradict them. The differences can be seen as a clarification of previous messages rather than outright contradictions. The Quran acknowledges the Gospels as part of a broader divine message. Differences in theological interpretation do not necessarily imply contradiction; they can reflect the evolution of religious understanding over time. Each scripture serves its purpose within its own context. it suggests that alterations may have occurred over time. This does not negate their original divine inspiration but indicates a need for the Quran to provide the final, unaltered message. The Quran's confirmation of previous scriptures can be viewed as an affirmation of their original messages, while the contradictions may arise from differing interpretations of those messages. The Quran provides a new context for understanding these teachings. Any point you made after this can be answered with those same exact answers, and when an argument draws back to one conclusion, It usually means there s a lack of understanding to the Material that argument is based upon by said "debunk"
Muslim apologists argue that the Quran critiques Christian and Jewish scriptures for corruption. But The Quran's critiques can be LITERALLY seen as addressing specific practices or interpretations of scripture that were prevalent at the time of its revelation which literally does not imply a blanket statement about the entirety of the previous scriptures but rather a call for adherence to the original divine message.
"why Didnt earlier texts like the Torah and Gospels were not similarly safeguarded."
There are whole books written by various theologians about that exact same question, and to put it simply it is because of translations my friend
The original languages of the Bible And Torah are primarily Original Hebrew, Aramaic, and Koine Greek. All languages that not only predate the Germanic languages we are used to now, but are also languages with different rhetorical devices, grammar structures, and just look ENTIRELY different
The Hebrew spoken during the time of Moses (approximately 1300-1200 BCE) is considered to be an earlier form of the language that has evolved over time. While modern Hebrew retains many features of Biblical Hebrew, it has also undergone significant changes, including the addition of new vocabulary and grammatical structures. Therefore, while they are related, the Hebrew used during Moses' time is not the same as contemporary Hebrew.
Preserving those books in their original language, then accurately depicting what they mean in our modern day languages not only proves to be a difficult task, but almost nigh impossible since The books of the Bible were initially written and copied by hand on papyrus scrolls. And NO originals have survived.
You could then pull up the point of the preservation by oral practice, but that isn't something the The Christians nor the Jews do, unlike the Muslims who had this as a customary practice since The very first Preaching of the Quran, hence why people memorize the entirety of the Quran word for word, and could recite every verse in every chapter by order flawlessly, Also since the language that the Quran came in, Arabic, is still widely used nowadays We can make sure that there have been no adjustments
IF you want further proof for that, your first point was literally drawn based on your lack of understanding of the rhetorical tools Arabic uses, (which is very ironic In my opinion) Which just proves that the language barrier will always lead to misunderstanding the context of Words

I don’t know too much from the Bible but these are scriptures I’ve recently read, and (I think) tells me that I should worry about those who are interested in the truth than those who defend a lie. While I totally agree and makes the Quran less reliable, you have to remember we don’t have the original copies of the Gospels or Bible either. So this isn’t as big an argumentative point as you think. It’s about showing how Islam can’t be correct with its own material, like how it claims the Gospels as revelations from Allah. The Quran then says his words can’t be corrupted, and refers to them in the present tense, which suggests they were around at this time. And the claim that there was a completely different and original one falls flat since there is no proof of its existence. Boom. Checkmate Islam.

You read it pure, undistorted and unchanged, and Allah has told you that the people of the scripture (Jews and Christians) changed their scripture and distorted it, and wrote the scripture with their own hands and said, 'It is from Allah,' to sell it for a little gain. Can you make a video on the assertion that Jesus was an end-of-the-world prophet made by people like Bart Erhman and Albert Schwitzer? I've always thought it was interesting and I'm curious what apologists think of it. I don't find it super convincing, but there are some interesting points to it, like the idea that in the letters of the first Christians they all seem to think the second coming is happening very soon. I've seen even very serious Christians agree that Paul probably thought that the world was going to end during his lifetime. Again, I think there are many problems with it, but when it comes to secular explanations "debunking" Christianity I've always thought it's one of the most interesting and persuasive ones.

It not like something in the hand of the Christian. And it in the Quran explained what true Gospel is. And it can't be Bible due lacks of proof and authenticity. Jews claimed first 5 book of OT made by Moses yet no authentic works could reflect on that. Something could be said as same for 4 Gospels of NT. You know why? Because Quran specifically said Torah of Moses and Gospel of Jesus is the true, not some anonymous author of the Bible. Plus, in this video many misrepresented of Quranic and scholars positions. Mohammed and the people who wrote the Quran had no other credible enough basis to write about them aside from the OT & NT. You can't come six centuries later like the Kool-Aid Man, take Jesus and Moses which are described and talked about in the Bible so thouroughly and say that your revelation-- which is based on previous revelations and what people before you said-- is the true one. Jeremiah is not indifferent to the message, which he is called to preach. In v 10 a note is struck to which he will return in relation to himself (15:18). In his distress he accuses the Lord of having deceived the people, presumably by having allowed false prophets to convince them with a message of peace (cf. 6:13-14). The only reply is the Lord's own confirmation that judgment is sure. (New Bible Commentary)
Even though it was really the false prophets who did the act of deception, the Bible is actually shifting the blame to God for actually allowing the false prophets to do the deception. This is what the "inspired" author Jeremiah said, and this is what we have to accept. God deceived innocent people.
It seemed that people were so bothered by Jeremiah's ascription of deception to God that they had to reword the sentence so that deception would be ascribed to the false prophets instead.
Ah, Lord God! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people
The Targum paraphrases this verse thus: "And I said, Receive my supplication, O Lord God; for, behold, the false prophets deceive this people and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace." The prophet could not reconcile this devastation of the country with the promises already made; and he appears to ask the question, Hast thou not then deceived this people in saying there shall be peace, i.e., prosperity? (Adam Clarke, The Adam Clarke Commentary, Commentary on Jeremiah 4:10, Source)
      We have it in:
      1 Kings 22:20-22
20 And the LORD said, 'Who will entice Ahab into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?'
"One suggested this, and another that. 21 Finally, a spirit came forward, stood before the LORD and said, 'I will entice him.'
22 " 'By what means?' the LORD asked.
" 'I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouths of all his prophets,' he said.
" 'You will succeed in enticing him,' said the LORD. 'Go and do it.'
Here, we see that the man said he would resort to lying to entice Ahab, and God supported the idea and told him to go ahead and do it!
I have no moral objections to this since I believe God could sometimes use means of deception to ensure the greater good and to use deception against evil. However, Christians don't allow this when we talk about Allah deceiving evildoers in the Qur'an. These are double standards.
      We even have it in:
      Ezekiel 14:9-11
9 " 'And if the prophet is enticed to utter a prophecy, I the LORD have enticed that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand against him and destroy him from among my people Israel. 10 They will bear their guilt-the prophet will be as guilty as the one who consults him. 11 Then the people of Israel will no longer stray from me, nor will they defile themselves anymore with all their sins. They will be my people, and I will be their God, declares the Sovereign LORD.' "
God is punishing him for a crime that He enticed him to do in the first place. Isn't that entrapment?

3:31 How do you know the Quranic corpus is mentioning the gospels in the new Testament?????

    • @danielromani2964
      @danielromani2964 11 днів тому +1

The reason for this is because of the confirmed existence of the Bible’s Gospels. While it isn’t specifically mentioned(which is a whole other problem in Islam, the vagueness left for interpretation), the Quran refers to the Injil in the present tense. This means it was around during the false prophet’s time. We have copies of the Gospels that predate Islam, so that already is one source. The verses also indicate that Christians were using them at the time. The Gospels were the ones that were more commonly used then. The third connection is the lack of evidence for an “original” Injil. Ask any Muslim, and they will say there was a completely separate and original Gospel given to Jesus that became lost by Allah’s will and therefore avoided the issue of Surah 18:27 and 6:114-115. The problem is, you only need to ask one simple question to knock their argument down like a house of cards: where is the proof of existence of this “original” Injil outside Muslim sources? Grant you, I am not asking for an original COPY, just some reference in a historical text or manuscript that would give life to this claim. The answer remains the same: they have no proof. This makes this claim far less valid and gives no reason to treat it as truthful. It becomes more of an excuse. Therefore, the logical and valid conclusion to come to is the Quran refers to one or more of the Gospels in the Bible.
