Off the subject, but would laser therapy be necessary if I have severe gum disease with a deep pocket and loose front tooth(fake cap)? I've been following all other steps you've suggested. I am now 3 weeks in.
@@plowe6751 There is other important advice such as not sipping water or drinks all day. You need to let your teeth bathe in your saliva between meals and water because that helps heal your teeth and gums and keeps them healthy.
I want to add and clarify some things; Xylitol can't be digested and an over-consumption of xylitol can lead to bloating and even liver damage since it's primarily metabolized in the liver. So, if you already have an upset or sensitive stomach, be mindful when you consume xylitol. Don't consume it on an empty stomach, rather after a meal like the video mentions. Secondly, Xylitol are commercially sold as a sweetener, commonly found in gums, mints and toothpaste. It's allegedly banned from soft drinks in EU. It's also naturally occurring in fruits, berries and vegetables but in very low amounts. With that being said, here is some clarification: For instance, Strawberries🍓and Pineapple🍍are nutritious but Acidic so don't over-consume those to get "more" xylitol. Rather pour some xylitol powder on the strawberry and eat it, just like the video mentioned. Ellie P. mentioned to eat some cheese🧀 for the teeth but failed to disclose it should be a good quality cheese. Not the ultra-processed garbage, that people commonly use in their burgers and toasts. Food pairing like banana 🍌and dairy together means Plain yogurt, kefir or similar, not flavored! Because flavored often have alot of sugar, especially products with "Added sugar". Video translation; Ellie P. in this video are essentially referring to fasting. Giving the body, the digestive system, the mouth time to heal and repair by not consuming over an extended period of time, which are synonymous with Fasting. She obviously added recommended foods to eat to promote dental and digestive health but the common denominator are Healing, from the inside.
As you said, xylitol isn't great to digest so here is what I do: chew a small spoom of xylitol, swish it with all the saliva that forms in your mouth for about a minute, then spit. Keep the benefits and ditch the issues.
Drinking water a half hour. before eating prepares the stomach lining for the experience of food break down, and your entire system to utilize the nutrients you're ingesting,
Yes, she’s wrong about drinking water or whatever with your meals it dilute your digestive juices which starts in the mouth where you produce a lot of saliva. But she wants to take Zylet instead go figure….
Ya this lady is not so smart! Your food need time to digest, drinking with your meal is the worst advise! An hour before you eat or after is what I have learned. Barbra Oneal and her team have researched this to endless time....very bad advice from this woman.

I read that holding Himalayan salt water in your mouth and using it as a mouth wash also helps remineralize the tooth enamel. I also gargle with it at the same time for a healthy throat.
Yes but it must be at a certain pH level in your mouth, and some saliva can be slightly acidic preventing remineralisation, this is why Carbonated drinks even Carbonated water or diet coke is acidic and it's bad for teeth
About gut health. I had reflux and ibs for 35 plus years. I cured it and it is mind boggling to me at how it just went away. This is what I did for my gut. I started adding a small lean portion of ground beef almost daily. Beef has glutamine which works miracles for your gut. Without going further, I believe this is what helped me the most. Second thing I did at the same time I bought a bottle of apple cider vinegar tablets and within 4 days of taking one a day, my reflux was gone but not all my ibs symptoms. I finished the whole bottle, and it has been well over a year and the reflux is only once a month and not even bad. Third, I reduce junk food and sugar and simple carbs by 75 percent immediately overnight. Sugar kills the beneficial bacteria in the gut and feeds the bad bacteria. Fourth I started eating a bowl of oatmeal 5 days a week. Fifth, I added a daily power smoothie, with about 4 powerhouse fruits or veggies. I use 4 or 5 of the following, spinach, kale, wild blueberries, wild blackberries, celery, avocado, carrots, collard greens, banana. Sometimes I use a little bit of all of them. It is equal to about 4 servings of fruits and veggies is what goes into my smoothie. I cannot say for sure what helped cure my gut. At first, I added the beef daily with the daily apple cider vinegar. Immediately my reflux vanished. After I ran out of the Apple cider vinegar capsules I was waiting for reflux to come back but it did not. I am thinking the glutamine in the beef helped more than anything. I read so much good about glutamine for the gut. I hope this helps someone.

I used to think cavities were only preventable with strict brushing and flossing until I stumbled upon Barbara O'Neill's video. She mentions three specific vegetables that can actually kill cavities and support natural tooth healing. After trying them myself, I’ve noticed a real difference! Anyone else experienced this?
@@doctordef324 Celery. Its natural crunch helps clean teeth while chewing, and it stimulates saliva production, which can help prevent cavities and support natural healing. Another powerful option is carrots, known for their high vitamin content and tooth-scrubbing texture. Try adding these to your daily snacks and see the difference for yourself!
Dr. Ellie, just wondering what your thoughts are of this - "Kitano Hospital will administer the treatment to patients between the ages of 2 to 7 who are missing at least four teeth, with the end goal of having a tooth-regrowing medicine available by the year 2030." I read this article online from Popular Mechanics. Thanks.
Wat if we rinse well with water or slight turmeric powder in water after meals? Or just brush teeth after lunch n dinner? With a ayurvedic paste.. Ive bought this pure xylitol powder n wondering isnt it sugar ?? Its so sweet😊 shld i just have like half a t spoon after each meal instead of mints?
I am only starting to learn about this, but I can answer a couple things based on what I’ve heard so far and read. (not just by her but also from others) I also use a natural toothpaste - I will not use the paste she recommends, but re brushing right after meals, I’ve learned that it’s best to wait a while, as your teeth are at their most acidic and therefore weaker right after a meal, and toothbrushing can be damaging. And then re xylitol crystals, you can absolutely use that instead of the mints or gum after meals and drinking. I’ve read 1/4 teaspoon. Just let the crystals dissolve in your mouth, swish it around for a few minutes and then spit out - with no rinsing afterwards, and don’t eat or drink anything for at least an hour.
@@rainedyani8505 thanks ! yes I read that too about not brushing immediately but wat about like after 20 minutes or so? Also I swallow it all because it just kindof melts the minute it's in the mouth..any paste names u suggest? Thanks

She mentions three specific vegetables that can actually kill cavities and support natural tooth healing. After trying them myself, I’ve noticed a real difference! Anyone else experienced this?
And the vegetables are???🤔🤔🤔

@@doctordef324 Celery. Its natural crunch helps clean teeth while chewing, and it stimulates saliva production, which can help prevent cavities and support natural healing. Another powerful option is carrots, known for their high vitamin content and tooth-scrubbing texture. Try adding these to your daily snacks and see the difference for yourself!
Yes, do tell!
Can we use Happydent daily?
As we dont have this xylitol in our country.
From India
Oh dear.......can we please just enjoy our food without the anxiety thrust upon us!!!!
Thanks.
dont do it, sounds very freaky
This video’s solid, but The Hidden Herbs by Anette Ray will take your understanding to the next level. Trust me on this.
Evian water has the ph balance 7.4 not Fiji
Great Video!!
Why xylitol is not good for you. please look it up before you have a heart attack
Isn't xylatol acidic???
if i have xhylitol crystals can i put a little in my mouth after food or only mints??
Thanks
@@rainedyani8505 where can one find xylitol crystals?
@@synchronicity67 No. Wait 1hr -2hr to allow teeth to remineralize. Don't be so hasty.
You'll brush all the protective seal away.

What vegan foods can replace the animal foods? What about pairing pineapple with tofu? Or collards?
Watch Barbara O'Neil. She's vegan
@@carinegevaert3775 So does she talk about dental health like Ellie does?
Well she did mention vegetables or salads.
But tofu ? 😑
Look up dr sebi and yahki awakened.
If you are giving cheese to your kids, make sure that it matches the cheese given in those studies she mentions. A lot of the cheese we give to children in America is junk and wouldn't do the job anyway.
I have an allergic reaction to xylitol i itch my skin to a point of damage. 😢
It’s kinda crazy how none of these guys are talking about The Hidden Herbs by Anette Ray.
Stay away from coffee and dark soda
Is Kombucha bad for teeth then?
Very bad only if you drink it as if you are drinking fanta or coca cola…. My personal experience.
Because it’s sugary I overdrank it and my teeth started paining forgetting it is a medecine.
My advice is to take few spoons a day…
@@memyselfandi4977 Oh okay. I tend to glug it down by the glassful.
@@silentnight3970 take it easy on it… it is a medecine

True. Fruit should be eaten on an empty stomach.
