      i go to a nice gym in the US ($90 a month FFS) and they still don't even have equipment this nice. eleiko in general is so fucking expensive. hell, even their chalk holders are like 3x the price of everyone elses.

      Manners indeed. That is lost in society unfortunately. Even those good at what they do lack manners. Not be a square or quiet by any means but at least treat people and carry yourself in a respectful manner.

    Slow and controlled descent, break first at the knees, arch into the lift, and concentrate more on back tightness than core tightness. Build your quads and upper back, train for a burn on auxiliary lifts. His advice is very different than a lot of people's but I couldn't agree with him more.

    Mark, you should hook Ray Williams up with an 8' bar for Christmas.... or pull some strings and get rogue to do it. if anyone deserves/needs one, its him.

    • @19HM98
      @19HM98 8 років тому +4

      Bro, do you even towel row?
      Ray competes in the IPF so using a non IPF approved bar such as the one you're describing would be a bad idea.

    • @IrritatedOnion
      @IrritatedOnion 8 років тому +1

      Hm1998 harry he said in a podcast recently hes getting bad tendinitis when squatting, which is almost certainly a direct result of the narrow collars on his gigantic frame. and actually a lot of SHW use an 8' bar in training, even though they aren't allowed in competition for the same reason chris duffin uses the duffalo bar all the time for squatting, which obviously arent allowed in competition either.

    • @19HM98
      @19HM98 8 років тому

      Bro, do you even towel row?
      I don't think the competition/training bar difference makes a big impact but a lot of guys say to train how you compete, so that's why I said it would be a bad idea. Didn't realise big Ray had tendinitis though, in that case Mark should hook him up with an 8 footer!
