My all-time favorite comedy. Steve Martin nailed his part. His best movie...for me. Candy was genius in this film. The editing explained here by the editor himself Paul Hirsch...amazing. What a job everyone did in this film. Thank you. Thank you to Youth Inc. for producing this vid. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Urgh! Second. Beautiful and fun review of a beautiful and hilarious film. R.I.P. Mr. Candy. I'll throw my DVD in and smile into sleep. Thank you! I'll definitely subscribe.
I really enjoyed this! John Hughes is one of my favorite storytellers. An amazing writer and director. I loved this film! One of his very best. As a storyboard artist, I especially enjoyed the interview with Paul Hirsch, and hearing his perspective on cutting it together with John. It was so great to hear about the things that influenced their decisions in piecing together the final cut. Plus a lot of other great stories of some funny improv that was left out I had not heard before. Brilliant! Thank you!
@@wadestevens5659 It was part of the final scene in the train station but they edited the hell out of it. Big emotional speaking part for John Candy. Steve Martin reads some of it in a recent special but gets teary and is unable to finish. I can send a link to the spoken part as it appeared on script.

Candy’s best acting & his best movie.
A tie along with "Only The Lonely."
I thought the same only...for Steve Martin. Both together made cinematic magic.
This film is great on so many different levels !!!! 👍👍👍
John Candy was a true legend! He died way too young
👍🤩💝I have loved this movie since I first saw it many years ago. I have told so many people about this movie. I watch it every year.💝

The best scene was cut. It was at the end and truly a tear-jerker.
I thought they didn't release that deleted scene.
@JosephHowes2003 They didn't but the script has been read online and it's a hell of a thing.
Wait! WHAT was the last scene that was cut?

Would love to see an extended version of my favorite movie.
John Hughes was the man!!
I want the 3 hr version, can you imagine how much comic genius we lost...
This should have a lot more views
Tres cool
This might be the movie where I found out I'm just a big crybaby.
First!
Then what?
Ralphie! This video should of dropped before Thanksgiving, shelf life expired.
Good thing Thanksgiving happens every year. (Also, it’s “should have,” not should of.)
