"The Movies That Made Us" on Netflix covered this movie and it's so good. It's awesome hearing the behind the scene stories and how they made this movie.
41:20 This is great breaking the thing down like this. I just realized that this plot device is similar to Boo Radley in "To Kill a Mockingbird". Boogeyman becomes Hero. Cool.
Peter, whenever get into a long line, I think of A Christmas Story. I immediately check to make sure that I didn't accidentally cut my way into the middle.
I always thought Joe Pesci himself decided to stay away from Macaulay Culkin while the movie was being filmed because he wanted Culkin to actually be afraid of him.
The stock music used in the headers here is the same used in a documentary about early Las Vegas. I keep expecting shots of the dessert and cowboys coming out of the Title Cards. .
One of my favorite movies!!! Top 5 for me. I actually went to Winneka and visited the house a few years ago. My childhood 😢😀
Still my favorite Christmas movie of all time
These are just gold! Pure gold! Thank you

Love that show
Oh my goodness! I never even noticed Kevin's airline ticket in the trash!
Exactly
Same!!! I was mind blown guess I didn’t care that much to poke holes in the script as a 7 year old or whatever lol but never noticed either
I noticed a ticket but not that it was his! Wow! Then I wondered how that even had a play in the movie bc everyone got in haha now I know

Peter billingsly did as great job writing a Christmas story Christmas I think he should write a home alone legacy sequel film

Probably a combination of the two but could see it being his idea originally on this set, absolutely
He didn't want Culkin to think he was funny, like a clown.
He also bit his finger in the scene at the end and actually broke skin 😬 it left a scar

Another interesting fact is the Tie clip Harry is wearing when dressed as a cop is shaped like a pistol.
I would like this movie more if Robert Redford was in it.
