Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.
Check your local regulations, as each state and territory is different, before you travel into or though NP with your dog. Here is the Parks Victoria website for those of you wishing to read up on Victoria's laws 👉 www.parks.vic.gov.au/things-t... - Ігри
If you want to check for gold when dry panning, take a straw with you. Tap your last bit cons forward in the pan the blow lightly thru the straw. This will push the lights away and expose your gold. Just don't sneeze! I dry pan a lot in the Arizona desert. Also get your pan down to the last bit and tap the back of your pan, This will walk the stones towards you and you can clear them out easier. Great videos.
steve gill hey mate, thanks for the tip. I've heard of this before, possibly from you?
I've pinned that post in my other dry panning video. As I will with this one.
Train aunts to take the sand away ewalu or prestos termed greeksalads
great video Chris, very well explained.
nice few specks of gold in the pan
all the best
Paul
Enjoyed learning about dry panning. As always beautiful scenery and background music. Best of luck on your next adventure.
Jay Bales thank you
😊
Good job chris. Warming up in colorado hitting the creek today first time out. Cant wait!!!
As always Thank You for sharing Chris! Nice tutorial.
Thats awesome. Yeah make sure you use the right hand when you click or you might end up over here. Fun video im loving the quality too
181 last time I did dry crevicing was in Dunolly and we had the use of a dry blower. Many decades ago!
Awesome video Chris
Hi Chris, I nearly always use the Garret Super Sluice in water in the manner you used it dry. I put a single classifier in the garret, shake it vigorously, check the classifier and then pan off using the movements you used dry. It takes me about 3 min to get from a heaped classifier to the ' revealed' stage. I sometimes pan into a second pan to check, but rarely find a speck.
Another great video.. I forgot about that comp still got my finger crossed for that one. Hope you can mine for me for the day.. 🤞🤞🤞
Awesome video might have to give it a go next summer ⚒
That gold claw is awesome.
Great job Chris
We are glad you put this video up. We are headed to Arizona soon and not sure there will be any water to pan in so we will be sure to take our Gold Claws and put them to good use.
KS Designs14 its every single bit as accurate and effective as regular panning.
Just collect concentrates and wet pan them later. Take your time settling the dirt too.
I haven't seen dry panning like that before, good result
Due to our water issues ( Lack Of ) we do a fare amount of Dry Washing and panning here in New Mexico. If done right it works quite well. Funny enough it dryer the dirt the Better ! Use of a Serious Vibrator is magic doing dry panning. Seriously ! Build a battery operated Vibrator that you can press ageist the bottom of your pan. You would be amazed at how fast you can dry pan doing this.
Awesome love your videos mate I’m leaning so much
Great vid mate thanks for sharing .
Thanks Criss really good to see how you do it. Love the vid.
bastian Verhoef make sure you watch the other dry panning video. It shows it with a traditional pan.
I love my Gold Claws, the Pocket Claw works great for fine pannin and makes a good sweet corn trough when your eatin it on the cob, holds butter well. Lol
Dan-o I use the pocket claw to clean up too
For everyone wanting a gold claw just hold on for a bit as I may, may, have a promo code coming!
If you're desperate at least tell them Vogus sent you 😊

YESSSS!!! we need a couple for sure!!
Great tips!
Great stuff Chris :) :)
Ayyyyyeeeee time for another one
Best and longest intro ever!! Your dog is the best
Unknown Entity its only a minute long lol
The art of your videography is so wonderful! Really enjoy what you are doing and teaching, but the artistry of the presentation is even better. BRAVO!! I think your pug is what we call caliche. It is dried up groundwater level and is solid calcium with gravel like cement. It is also called calcrete. Our gold is often trapped just at the top of the hard caliche layer. We reach 50oC here where I live.
Nah its different to calcret man, this is actually workable and isn't in a 100% rock state
What an awesome video Chris. I think grizzley has a nack of finding the yellow. Im still trying to get that teleporting thing to work lol. 😀
colleen stewart you're not wrong, he's a good spot picker.
Vo-Gus Prospecting if I lived closer to you I would borrow Gris to pick me a good spot lol. He is so beautiful your one lucky guy. 🙂
Just got 15cm of snow where i hangout, FML...........Awesome vid Chris, 40C....wow , can't say I've experienced that.
Geoffrey Mitchell hottest I've been in here was 48.8c.
Was a week straight of 40c+.
Awesome Pauly teleport. Great video
Andrew Potter sometimes it even works.
I believe it is called paully-port. :p
Dry Crevasse panning - I liked your video and learned a lot. I have 2 suggestions to make this easier;
1) Use a classifier for fine material panning, this will make getting the rocks and debris out of your and save you time.
2) I have seen a guy’s video that used a portable battery-operated hand-held DeWalt wet/dry vac to suction out dirt and gold from between rocks that had tight cracks. He used the long, narrow crevasse attachment. Take some extra filters used for dry use, and fully charge both batteries.
Bet it works as well for you as it did in the video.
You can dump the fine dirt from the wet/dry vac into a bucket and wet process it at home - test dirt first, of course!
Becky Elliott as I said in the video classifying helps a lot.
Unfortunately vacuuming dirt here in Australia falls into the illegal cattagory
nice video brother...
Great results.the video was out of sync on my end!but still excellent.
Fun in the dirt day😎 ever use a backpack vacuum to clean up dry bedrock like Jeff Williams?
Joseph kolodziej nah diggings more fun
This looks more like the areas ive been working in central coastal california Theres just not alot of accesible bedrock here. But trust and believe i will find some, work it, and film it!
VERY informative. What is the tool with the long tines?
Thanks and as always a great informative video.👍
Linwood Crosby just a garden tool I found at the hardwear
Love the yellow fever
I love the intro song
Awesome, I haven't dry panned before, I'll give it a crack now. Thank you
backtobasics make sure you watch my other dry panning video in the description.
Its every bit as accurate as regular panning if the soil is dry as and you take your time settling it.
How did it go?
The Australian Aborigine's used to do what was called Yandein for tin . You hold the material up and tip it into the wind onto a ground sheet and all the heavies end up at the front and lighter material goes to the back.
Enjoy! Polly’s as well!
Hello ! near my house there are many hills with waterfalls and streams I have tried many ways such as using diving goggles and snorkel to find, I have a highbanker, I have a gold hat ... but I could not find A little bit of gold ... please help me ... is it because I don't have a metal detector?
ha what
up 3/4 though under the edge of the yellow bucket theres a 5 stran wisk wooden flat handle what do you call it and where can i pick one up
been watching your 3 mounths or so learing things every day am thinking on going WA next year to try my luck been to Nanargo

mike plant thank you, I'm sitting surrounded by box's at the moment
hope Zoe and the fur babies are settling in .
mike plant we don't get keys for two weeks. Just camping at family's house.
you could always try picking the lock , might be more fun than a padlock lol ! if you don't get caught.
Ok Chris,
You went and did it. I bought a Gold Claw today at the gold show in Vancouver, WA. (- Thats Washington State, USA, Not Western Oz).
They told me you were their rep there. Congrats!
And they were going to sell their sluices here in the States in a few weeks!
P.S. Be sure to ask for your commission for my buying the pan. LOL
F.K. Burnham lol ok I'll be sure yo ask haha.
I only just got told that a few days ago, I'm very excited as its a product I like and have no hesitation in recommending.
The great thing about gold claw is that I can talk with them about potential flaws and they address them.
Nothing like real world testing.
They had nothing but good words to say about you, and that you were a real nice guy. (Did you have them baffled? LMSAO.)
They were really excited about you rep. their product too.
wow...dry panning ehh?amazing...never seen this before))
Sebastian Popescu its a good skill to have
Great Vid and good news about a promo code for the Gold Claw...I want one haha
Lyn Dixon hopefully I'll have one soon.
GR8
Where's that dam at mate what a gorgeous spot for a picnic
when you're down in a crevice working, back to the sky , it is easy to get startled by someone walking up on you. This happened to me...a neighboring miner walked up and scared the crap out of me! This probably doesn't happen to you because of Grizzly. Peace!
Eric Starszak grizzly let's me know when someone's there.
I see The Griz is supervising as usual.
Thank you Chris I literally just messaged golddog about how the Facebook page is down and not allowing to purchase. Can we get them through you?
Shorty Monro the short story is no.
Soon I will be able to do give-aways through my channel for them and promo codes but I don't sell them.
Sorry mate. Give him a buzz Monday.
I wish the intro song was available on itunes!
Yes. Love that banjo.
Would it pay to run all your material through a 4 mesh screen (or so) - seems like that might make things quicker? Or would you miss gold stuck to the bigger rocks?
In a different creek yes.
But this creek has ounce sized nuggets. So no mesh!!
That woulda been kool if when u were after clicking ur background flashed like with dinosaurs then under the ocean then back like glitchy lol
Great video mate !
Subed directly‼..
i'm a gold addicted metaldetectorist 🤪😆...
Found alot in the juwelery firm of it .
But i always finds them on black sand/clay beaches...
Everybody says its not here ...but that i thought aswelll about my 1578 gold ducat .
So i dug my first bucket of black clay/sand , i dried it and classified it.
In the classified 0.3mm² mesh sand ...
I have seen flowergold i think 🙂..
Or its pyrite ...but thats good alswell ...i guess.
Where s fools gold ..gold is found too or am i wrong ??
Grtzz johny geerts
Cheers mate
We hope its only 40c here in Phoenix
Very cool Chris. Kevin Hoagland would like to see this.
Jesus Mendez hi buddy.
Subed you and hit the bell and droped a thumb for ya good job !
Dad's piranha thanks mate I apprentice it
Was it amalgam? I'm always curious if it is or isn't and if it is how much gold it contained, however the end results are never in the videos.
Cameron Smith we never tested it. Just kept the bit, its Mercury covered gold.
Could you use a pinpointer while working the crevice?
Gary's Sprinkler Repair I've done a video on that exact thing. Yes you can
Vo-Gus Prospecting, hope the nugget arrived today UPS
Gary's Sprinkler Repair which address did you send it to?
Vo-Gus Prospecting the address at the bottom of the video in the link section.
Gary's Sprinkler Repair awesome!
I hate dry working... gets dust EVERYWHERE... lol
I'm trapped in Minnesota, USA. No gold around this place. But I do tend to visit uncle's in Washington, my brother in Nevada, and my cousins in Colorado. Without dealing with Ebay junk. What's the best place to get proper pans and classifiers?
Probably eBay or local fishing/camping shop
@@VoGusProspecting unfortunately with being where I am. Closest gold prospecting location is a 10 hour drive. Will check local locations, but may have to wait to visit relatives to buy one since they live near hot areas.
those gold claws seam to work wonders. cant wait for mine
Jefferson Monson there pretty impressive.
Need an automatic gold pan.
Well I guess you won't need this technique any more 🤣
I got one for you, what dose a man do standing up, a woman do sitting down and a dog do on three legs?
srip 63 pee?
Not see! Guess again! Lol
Spell check sucks not pee!
shaking hand
Yes shaking hands!
That way you could just keep throwing material in their and wet pan it with liter bottle of water.
There is no stopping you..
THEDRAGONBOOSTER8 food poisoning, that does it
I like your sense of humor, we need one..
Ask Jeff Williams will use quickjet or whatever Americans call washing liquid a squirt in his pan and apparently it stops the floating gold??? Anyone tried could save you
Do it all the time man
Bates dam
That's the one
love your work bro your videos are very informative. I like to work dry spots 😊 am learning lots thanks
don't swim in that dam, bitty things
😀 tried magnet fishing it a few years back didn't pull out anything interesting couple of rusty old bolts
Ahhh, I miss the old intro music!
I don't lol
Man, I'm really scared to dry pann
poeciloteria why, it works the same as normal panning
I'm just paranoid about losing gold when doing it.
When you moved did you take the creepy doll gate with you? I hope you did...
we did
@@VoGusProspecting I mean it's got to be the best gate in the country!
You've found gold, but lost a V. Not important. ;)
U sure talk alot lol
I sure do
